I guess Bok Gil's prognosis is really bad- that's why Jang Mi was crying outside.

And Hwa Yeong will tell Manager Lee that Jun Ho is her son in the next episode.

A part of me is still wondering if Baek Ho is adopted. Could his parents have adopted two kids?
We established that his Mom is overly concerned about Jun Ho's heath because he had leukemia as a child. And Baek Ho does not seem to know that Jun Ho was adopted at 5 years-old. He must have been a toddler when Jun Ho joined the family.

But two arguments against Baek Ho possibly being adopted are that:
(1) he is very much like his Dad- he gets blinded by love easily; and
(2) he is a lawyer like his Mother. But a career path is generally not genetically-related.

On the other hand, when Baek Ho jokingly asked if he was adopted, his Mother seemed a little uncomfortable. Maybe it's because she is still keeping Jun Ho's adoption a secret from him.

In any case, time will tell. Is there a birth secret surrounding Baek Ho? If k-drama daily drama history is anything to go by, then it's highly likely.
Hopefully, he won't turn out to be blood-related to the twins.

True about Seo Rin. We just don't know what she is passionate about or what she enjoys. Hwa Yeong told her to learn the business alongside Jun Ho- is it because she is really incompetent or is just not interested? But she does have a Masters in Business🤔. She needs major character development. Maybe she should become a detective because she seems to be good at putting clues together 😂😂.

You are spot on about Baek Ho and Seo Rin- Seo Rin is a spoilt heiress so her behaviour, while still annoying, is understandable. Whereas Baek Ho is frequently described as being kind-hearted so we expect more from him. While he is not responsible for the accident, his Dad is, and so he should at least have a little bit of shame and remorse. He should have been reluctant to go to hospital so soon, and he could have waited and gone the next day after emotions calmed down a bit. That would have been the kind thing for him to do. But even after Jang Mi told him not to show up, he went against her wishes and followed her, anyway🤦‍♀️. I guess he is used to ignoring what Jang Mi says- she often refuses to do stuff with him but he still shows up and makes her do them. So when she said no, this time, he failed to acknowledge that she really meant it.

Love has really blinded him. He loses all rational thought. It's interesting that even his parents complained that he is too blinded by love. I am surprised that the writers actually made it a point to bring it up. Another interesting thing is what his Dad said after he said that- that love does not always go the way you want it to. To me, it was such a random thing for his Dad to say to him- he could have just been talking about Hwa Yeong dumping him, but it also felt like foreshadowing.

In any case, the writers intentionally made Baek Ho this way- we will find out why in the future. I hope to see some independence from Jang Mi once her revenge starts, and she relies less on him and more on herself. This will also help Baek Ho to mature a bit.

Maybe they should have Baek Ho and Seo Rin together 😂😂😂😂.
If Seo Rin ends up taking Jang Mi's place in the Oh family- Baek Ho might have to be the one to help her adjust to her new surroundings and status.

Baek Ho said himself that the only reason he is bending over backwards to help family is because he likes Jang Mi, otherwise why would he do that.

I might have more tolerance for him if he was not always around the family. The members of Oh family look down upon themselves and have no pride. That is why they put people like Hwa Yeong and Baek Ho on pedestals. Can you imagine if Jang Mi were to frequently show up at his place and insert herself into his family business?- his family would never tolerate that- from anyone- rich or poor. In the same way, if he liked Seo Rin, he would never just randomly show up at the Ma family home. So why is he doing it here?

I doubt he will be showing up at the Oh family home once Jang Mi becomes Seo Rin. And he won't he able to just randomly go to the Ma family home, unless he pretends to like Hong Ju.

The character is off-putting for me because his behaviour borders on obsession and desperation- the writers should have toned him down- but they did it for a reason- I guess we will find out in the future. Too much of something is a bad thing. If he were a villain or a second male lead, his personality would make more sense. A second male lead usually tries to insert himself into everything concerning the female lead because he is afraid he will lose her to the male lead. A villain who is in love would do the same to make sure that his lady love stays by his side.

Angels don't cling to people or continuously insert themselves- they show up when someone is in desperate need of help, otherwise they remain hidden in the background- no one knows they are there. They also respect people when they say no and do not try to force themselves into situations. They give people space.

It only took 38 episodes, but finally, the writers gave us an episode that was good from beginning to the end. It did not drag and was fast-paced, and intriguing. Tae Pyung getting mad and punching Nam Bong was a good change for his character. And him telling Baek Ho to stay away from his family was even better. Unfortunately, Baek Ho thinks that boundaries do not apply to him. He insisted on going to the hospital, even when Jang Mi told him that he would not be welcome there. And then they were forced to waste precious emotional energy kicking him out. He could not even give them 24 hours to be by their Dad's side alone. His condition is critical and Baek Ho's Dad is believed to be the reason- who would want to see the child of someone who put their loved one at death's door? They would have come around eventually- they just need space and time.

Instead of stalking the Oh family, Baek Ho should have gone home to interrogate his Dad. Nam Bong might have slipped up and given Baek Ho some important information.

I felt sad for Tae Sook because she could not be at the hospital with the others.

Seo Rin's investigation is moving rather quickly. It's nice to see her take a break from fawning over Jun Ho. I almost got annoyed with her for telling Hwa Yeong everything but Hwa Yeong is her mother- there are very few secrets between mothers and daughters 🤭.

I like how the Chairman is playing San Wol🤣🤣🤣. "It's time for the carrot 🥕 and not the stick"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Why didn’t Hong Ju tell Jun Ho the name of her crush? 😂.

Could the twins come face to face tomorrow?

I wonder who will run Dream Group in the end. The Chairman's son didn't really seem interested in it at the beginning of the show. But 30 years have passed so maybe he will run it. The only other option is Jun Ho. Seo Rin is only interested in partying and looking pretty. Jang Mi's dream is to be a chef and I think she will pursue that after the revenge is done.

I find myself wondering if the writers are planning to kill off Baek Ho in the end. He seems like someone who would happily sacrifice his life to save someone else.

The writers want to keep us guessing and to create some suspense for the viewers, especially since Jun Ho is yet to 'enter the building'. They want us to see the dynamic between Jun Ho and Jang Mi first.
Plus, Jang Mi cannot embark on the revenge, wholeheartedly, if she is romantically linked to someone. She might have to cast away some of her emotions. She might have to pretend to be in love with Jun Ho and she cannot do that while worrying how Baek Ho's feelings might be hurt.

It's interesting that the detective called Jang Mi about Bok Gil's accident and not Tae Pyung. Is Jang Mi listed as Bok Gil's next of kin and not Tae Pyung? If so, it shows how irresponsible Bok Gil thinks he is 😂

Yes- Baek Ho has literally planted himself in the family and believes that hanging around Jang Mi will make her like him- he crosses so many boundaries and on Monday's episode, he even threatened to move in 🤦‍♀️. He needs to give her space but refuses to do so. How can he be so in love with someone he met less than a month ago? There is nothing romantic about this love story at all because Baek Ho is now just annoying, and is prone to telling little lies to get his way. He is so blinded by love that he is acting irrationally. And Jang Mi's inexperience will make her think that he is super-romantic and she does not know how to set boundaries.

The writers should have given us a slow-burn romance. In many of the shows I have watched, I am always disappointed because we don't get enough screen time for the main couple so any time they are together, it's exciting. But in First Man- the scenes are far too many and this early in the show.

I hope, in the end, Jang Mi will go overseas to become a Michelin chef and consider any romance, after that. She needs to be independent and self-reliant, first.

I am also fed up with him. Yes- he should not have been there in that moment. And then when Suk Hee had that episode while she was sleeping- those are private family moments- he has no business being there. A sane person would have just left to give the family some privacy.
But no- he hangs around. Even when truth about Bok Gil not being her biological father came out- it looks like he hung around for hours because when Jang Mi finally came out of the house, he followed her.
The more I think about, the more he is starting to feel like a stalker. But the problem is that the Oh family enables him- they cannot believe that this lawyer actually wants to spend time with them so they let him do whatever he wants.

Yeah- he should keep that wrench and blackmail her with it in the future.

😂 this is true- I am honestly not rooting for them as a couple- the writers managed to ruin the romance for me- and at only 30 episodes 🤣🤣. They should have given us a slow-burn romance- it might have been more palatable.

The revenge- if Nam Bong only gets a slap on the wrist, then I think Baek Ho will lose his own personal reason for partaking in the revenge and we will be back to him just doing it for Jang Mi.
I wondered if Manager Lee might plant the wrench in the Professor's car to frame him, out of spite, but it has Hwa Yeong's fingerprints.
Manager Lee should keep the wrench and use it to blackmail Hwa Yeong in the future.

The Professor is far too calm and blasé about hitting someone with his car. No matter who was at fault, the feeling of running someone over and possibly killing them would haunt a person for a while. Now I think that if Hwa Yeong had asked him to dispose of the body, he would have helped her.

Nam Bong's wife might represent him in court and I don't think it will bode well for Oh family and they will be hurt. Hopefully, the doctors checked Bok Gil's blood alcohol levels.

Jun Ho might see Jang Mi if he goes to the hospital or police station.

I think Jun Ho's life might be in danger if Manager Lee figures out who he is. Manager Lee finally has Hwa Yeong all to himself again and Jun Ho's existence jeopardises that.

There are bits and pieces of evidence of Hwa Yeong's crimes everywhere- Jang Mi has to put the pieces together.
I hope the Professor will recall that Hwa Yeong said the man he hit was drunk.

I liked the music that the Professor played just before he hit Bok Gil- that was a good scence.

I was annoyed when Tae Pyung called Baek Ho. When he said he can't sit around and do nothing- I thought he was going to call the police 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. He and Baek Ho are the same age but Tae Pyung acts like he cannot make his own decisions and has to rely on others.

The writers and Baek Ho- this is overkill- he is so intricately involved with a family he just met. Now it's like the family cannot function without him.

That will very likely be the ending😂- she will go mad, especially if Jun Ho helps to take her down and refuses to forgive her, or acknowledge her.

I guess many writers believe that that level of evil requires some level of insanity- no sane person can do such things.

Wow- Bok Gil is dead already?
I am not surprised about Nam Bong- he was becoming far too clingy and would have become a problem for Hwa Yeong. Is it Manage Lee's idea or Hwa Yeong's? But for Hwa Yeong to set up the person who raised her son- cruel.

At least now we will have a why for why Baek Ho will join the revenge plot- he needs his own reason. But it's messy- it is now assumed that his Dad killed Jang Mi's Dad- a major hurdle for the couple, for now.

How many weeks before Jang Mi figures out the truth?

This move elevates Hwa Yeong to an extra level of villainy- which is much needed. She is the main villain and she has not been acting like one for a while so this is a good move by the writers.

Hwa Yeong is not the sharpest tool in the shed. She is so focussed on finding Ha Neul that she has not realised that Jun Ho and Baek Ho are brothers- and since Baek Ho likes Jang Mi, he might introduce her to his brother. So the chances of Jun Ho meeting Jang Mi have increased.

And then she thanked Jun Ho for growing up so well without a Mom- more specifically, her as his Mom. Jun Ho already has a Mom and he did not raise himself- but again, she is overlooking that.

Poor Manager Lee is so blinded by love that he cannot tell that Hwa Yeong is gaslighting him🤣🤣🤣. I would have suggested that San Wol try seducing him to get dirt on Hwa Yeong but Manager Lee only has eyes for Hwa Yeong🤣🤣🤣🤣. Poor soul😂.

Seo Rin just needs to meet one person in the shop- Suk Hee or Tae Pyung or Tae Sook🙏. And Hwa Yeong is distracted by Bok Gil- so she won't notice what Seo Rin is up to. Hopefully, it happens. But....going by past events... maybe not tomorrow. Seo Rin will probably find the shop closed, maybe because they all would have gone to look for Bok Gil.

Seo Rin will probably get caught up in her excitement about Jun Ho's promotion and forget about Jang Mi for a while.

Yeah- I don't think Bok Gil is long for this world- he might not make it out of this- with the way his kids were warning him not to chase criminals again....that was foreshadowing.....But if he dies or ends up in coma, the process of them figuring things out might take long again.

At the rate the show is going, the revenge might only last 20-30 episodes 🤣🤣.

Yeah- he needs more skin in the game and he has been set up to be supporting cast for Jang Mi- which is really boring- can you imagine 86 more episodes of that?

I wonder what the writers' plans for him are. I am afraid the revenge story will end up being anti-climatic😪. It will be basically about extracting Hwa Yeong from Dream Group- they cannot have her arrested because the victim is not a good witness in the state that she is in.

We are also short on villains and Hwa Yeong is a weak villain.

How will Jang Mi, as Seo Rin, explain that she is no longer interested in Jun Ho?- that will be a major red flag for Hwa Yeong.
