I also didn't like how Do Yun treated Na Ra- especially with the way he informed her that someone died in the fire, she accidentally started by bumping into a stove at four years-old. He says he doesn't blame her but his actions say different. Maybe he is projecting his anger towards her mother and Gi Chan onto her.
He really should have just kept her stuff for a few days and given them back to her- not Gi Chan.
And in all fairness, the stove should not have been left on while the person who was in the house at the time, was fast asleep.

Yes- staying for at least a year would allow him to process.

These things are always tricky because custody fights can still happen even when the adoptive parents are good - did you watch Cinderella Game? When Eun Chong was forcibly taken from Ha Na by Eun Chong's grandma and he became depressed? That was heartbreaking- but in that case grandma had DNA, power and money on her side.

I don't think the tonic is meant to kill. Am assuming he is taking chronic medication and maybe it is not supposed to be taken with the tonic?. That is not something Stella or Lucia could have foreseen. If Lucia was intentionally poisoning him, she would not be trying to force him to go to the hospital. They also want him to watch as he loses his company and to pay for his evil deeds. Death would be an easy out for him.

Lucia's wins have been hard won- she has faced several setbacks but she is managing to overcome them, which makes it exciting for me. Then there is Seon Jae who a thorn in her side- he balances everything out.

Did you ever watch a U.S, show called Revenge from many years ago? The woman who returned for the revenge would have similar wins because she planned everything so well.

Oops- Seon Jae remembered the painting and went to confront Stella with some information that has her shaking in her boots and going to Kyung Chae in the next episode.

The Chairman is deteriorating fast. I'm starting to think that these headaches will make him fearful that he will become incapacitated which will allow his kids will steal his company. To prevent this, he might transfer his shares to Lucia so she can act as his proxy.

Lucia deleted the audio file on Soo Jung's phone while she was sleeping😂.

Yeah- it is an incredibly difficult situation because Ji Ho loves them- he does not see good or evil. And while Gi Chan has failed in many other areas, he has tried to be a good dad. And when Se Ri was locked up in the mental institution, Ji Ho cried relentlessly because he wanted to see his Mom. So losing them both, at the same time, learning that he has a different Dad, hearing that he can no longer see his Mom, and relocating to a new country, with language barriers, will be a four-fold trauma. The changes have to be gradual.
And, yes, people like Jae In can help him with the transition. I will not be surprised if he refuses to go with Tae Oh and asks to stay with Jae In, instead.

Another example is Seung Woo- everyone has been so gentle with him with regards to his biological parentage, even though he is an adult. Tae Oh needs to be even gentler with Ji Ho, and focus on what Ji Ho needs and not on what he wants. But he just became a parent to a 7 year-old so he will learn these lessons along the way. Good thing he is still single- how would he have explained this to a wife or girlfriend?- "Honey, I'm back and I brought you something. Surprise, you're now a mother"🤣🤣🤣.

Ja Young should just let Seung Woo love her. The scene between her and Mi Ran was heartbreaking but I am glad Mi Ran is listening to Seung Woo and has dropped her plans to change the family registry.

Why does Tae Oh believe he can just extract a child from his home? Just because they share DNA? If Gi Chan was not a villain, the courts would award him full custody and not Tae Oh because Gi Chan is the only Dad he has known his entire life. Tae Oh would get visitation. But he wants to take Ji Ho away from the only family he has known and take him out of the country to a place where he has no friends? That would not be good for his emotional stability. Tae Oh needs to rethink his plans. He should move back to S.Korea and raise him there first, around familiar faces, before they relocate to the U.S.

Are we supposed to believe that a 20-year old Kyung Chae locked up Soo Jung's Mom in a mental hospital? It's possible, I guess. But Kyung Chae was also pregnant at that time or had already given birth to Se Ri. I think she would have needed the Chairman's approval to do something like that. Maybe as part of their deal?
Did Soo Jung think her Mom was still alive overseas? What a painful way to find out that her Mom died, while hospitalized. Kyung Chae didn't even tell her about the death?That's cruel and evil.

I loved Lucia's smile at the end. I like how she is growing in confidence. However, I don't think telling Se Ri to stop talking to Kyung Chae is a good idea. She could work things to make Se Ri slowly withdraw from Kyung Chae on her own.
Also, Lucia cannot sleep with Se Ri daily. She needs to alternate, otherwise, the Chairman will become suspicious.

I enjoyed watching the Chairman gaslight Pan Sul😂😂😂. He deserves it.

I love Moon Tae Gyung but why discuss such important things in the corridor where anyone can hear and while there is a sniffing 🐕 on the loose🤦‍♀️.
And secondly, he could have used a fake name to pay the hospital bill🤦‍♀️. He should have just let Stella handle the whole situation. That being said, I am proud of the cleaning lady for not giving into Seon Jae's bullying. Hopefully, he leaves her alone.
Tae Gyeong really needs to work on his poker face around Seon Jae.

is next on the agenda. I wonder if Seon Jae will remember seeing it in Stella's bedroom🤔. That will spell trouble.

Stella gave Lucia her son's surname- Jung. I guess it was easier to forge an ID with that. Will Se Ri change her name to Jung Se Ri, in the end?🤔

What is with the Chairman's headaches? Could it be a side effect of the tonic? Maybe it should not be taken with his tablets? He better not die- he needs to be alive and healthy when he pays for his crimes.

Tae Gyeong knows that Pan Sul is Ji Seop's father-in-law. Remember that episode where Ji Seop was visiting and wanted to see the new tenant? Pan Sul went to call Tae Gyeong and he informed him that his son-in-law works at Mingang as a vice-CEO, I think. Tae Gyeong then gave some excuse to not come out.

The Seon Jae reveal will be an interesting one.

He didn't want to tell Jae In the whole truth. He is keeping his cards close to the vest and he and Jae In are acquaintances- he really has no obligation to tell her his life story. It's his business.

I am starting to think there might be one more death or life-threatening injury on the good guy's side. The bad guys have been losing for so long so they need one final major win, especially Se Ri. Something that will lead her straight to jail. Last week, I thought Seung Woo might be the victim, especially after they told him everything- he is the perfect candidate because it would affect Jae In, Ja Young, Mi Ran, and Do Yun and his family.
But would the writers be that cruel? But then again, Jae In did lose two kids, so anything is possible.
I hope it won't be Ja Young.

Yesterday, I thought Ji Ho might accidentally drink the poisoned coffee and die.
Could Ji Ho become a victim? The ultimate revenge against Se Ri?

Anyway, something major might happen over the next 7/8 episodes or needs to happen to keep the interesting and exciting till the end.

On a side note- Even though there is a very small chance of it happening, I am secretly shipping Tae Oh and Ya Gyeong- I think that is the kind of man she needs after all she has been through with Gi Man and his family. Someone firm and decisive. And since Ji Ho knows her, it would make his transition to having a new Dad, easier. They can move to the U.S. together- Ya Gyeong can study medicine again there and continue practicing as a doctor. But how would they meet? Maybe she saves his life after Se Ri's attempted murder?
Anyway, I know it's a long shot...

💯She never flirted. They really should have removed the romance angle. Do Yun's feelings seem to be quite burdensome to Jae In. She is thinking about revenge and he is busy getting jealous about Tae Oh calling her his "destiny"🤦🏽‍♀️ . She really does not have time for such conversations- grief plus her Mom being sick, the slush fund etc- she has a lot on her plate already.
They are two people who have shared goals and shared enemies- it does not necessarily have to lead to romance. I would prefer a time jump when the revenge is over and only after that jump, they can get together.

I had the same thought- DY said it would only take a few minutes to take her home but she insisted that he should go home.
She really is just not that into him. Her revenge, Se Ri and Gi Chan are occupying her mind and DY is really just an afterthought.
And how can she even think about romance- it has not even been a year since she lost her Dad and her babies- she is still grieving. At this point, DY's feelings are burdensome to her and DY failed to read the room by telling her how he felt.

Is it just me or does Jae In have far more chemistry with Gi Chan than with Do Yun. Jae In seems to come alive whenever she is around Gi Chan. The actress is so passionate and emotional in her scenes with him and then she is dull and boring around Do Yun. In most of their scenes, Do Yun seems to be begging for her attention- he looks like a sad puppy.

I guess there is a thin line between love and hate when it comes to Jae In and Gi Chan.
Gi Chan is the real male lead of show- his character is multidimensional and has so many layers, which makes him far more interesting, to me, anyway.

If I were Tae Gyeong, I would have had the cleaner plant some seeds that Tae Gyeong might be the Chairman's illegitimate son from an affair. Seon Jae would work extra hard to keep that information hidden😂😂😂.

I hope that cleaner will continue to keep her mouth shut.

Manager Gong now respects Lucia?

It might time for Lucia to hint to Soo Jung that Kyung Chae might have been responsible for her mother's death.
At least with the share waiver information out and Soo Jung declaring war, Lucia is no longer obligated to give Soo Jung the shares.

The documents are not admissible in court if they are stolen. He needed to persuade his new adoptive Dad (Pan Sul) to give them to him.

Pan Sul recovered quickly from the theft😂.

Looks like Seon Jae is not the only one who has learnt the art of recording his conversations with Lucia- Soo Jung also recorded and Lucia is livid.
Soo Jung also tried to slap Lucia. Not sure what Kyung Chae told her to make her so mad at Lucia.

I laughed so much when Ji Seop told Kyung Chae that she does not have any feelings 😂😂😂 And Soo Jung agreed by saying Kyung Chae does not get hurt, she does the hurting 😂😂😂. People don't see her as human. Even with the way she treats Se Ri, she is cold and emotionally distant. I really felt sad for Se Ri when she said no one had time to teach her how to ride a bike 😪.

Pan Sul should know when to stop. He overplayed his hand and now he lost all the collateral- but since the police called- he might get the other documents back. I hope he will be wise enough to realise the Chairman took it.

I think Tae Gyeong thought it was Tae Joo stealing the safe, that's why he did not go
after the thief. But I am glad the Chairman stole it because Pan Sul needs to be brought down a peg. And of course, the Chairman did not tear up the document 🤦‍♀️. Why is he keeping it?

How will Lucia get out of this predicament. Looks like she will manage since she is all smiles in the preview.

Why did Seon Jae follow Lucia into her bedroom if he was that afraid of Manager Gong catching them. He seems to lose all rational thought when Lucia is around. If he marries Kyung Chae and they all live
together, things wiĺl be quite volatile.

Stella's refusal to believe that Se Ri could be related to her 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Even Tae Joo can see it's possible. So it means her son must have died after Se Ri was born. So some time passed between the break-up and and his death. Was he killed because he found out about Se Ri and wanted to take her? Se Ri lived with maids at the time and I think Kyung Chae's Mom was still alive when Se Ri was born.
Tae Joo should just ask Lucia for a strand of Se Ri's hair and compare it to Stella's. At least Lucia's new plan does not involve physically harming Se Ri but showering her with love so she forgets about Kyung Chae. So Stella should not have a problem with it.

I am glad that cleaner is not giving Seon Jae anything. Now that Tae Gyeong will catch them, maybe he will ask her to give Seon Jae a false name.

So Seon Jae is stealing a lot from the company and colluding with other companies. Kyung Chae will feel like such a fool when all is revealed, especially since Tae Gyeong tried to warn her. That being said, Tae Gyeong is overdoing it. He planted the seeds, he should let it go. Kyung Chae will just think he has a personal grudge against Seon Jae. I also hope that ledger is somewhere safe, and there are copies. Seon Jae might start searching for it.

Ji Seop wants a promotion?! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ No remorse for his actions. The Chairman should make him start from the bottom.

Manager Gong is now behaving 🤔.

That was a beautiful scene between Seung Woo and Mi Ran, and Seung Woo made up his own mind without anyone trying to force what they think he should do onto him. Ja Young will continue to be his Mom and Mi Ran will continue to be his Aunt. I think he also basically gave her an answer about the registry issue, without being asked yet- he wants to remain on Ja Young's registry. For some reason, Mi Ran believed that the fact that she is his biological mother meant she could just take over from Ja Young like it's a relay race or something. She did not factor in the bond and love between Ja Young and Seung Woo. Yes, she would show up whenever Seung Woo was sick, but Ja Young was there for everything else, and doted on him. The writers handled this issue really well.

I'm curious to see how Seung Woo will handle the Patrick issue- that one is different because Patrick never knew he existed 🤔.

Seung Woo is starting to mature. He is no longer trying to drink his problems away or running to Yu Gyeong for comfort, but is facing them head on.

That was a brilliant dose of revenge from Lucia. Watching the scene of Kyung Chae going to the hospital and looking everywhere for Se Ri was deja vu. Baek Sul went through the same motions while looking for Mi So. A great move by the writers. Kyung Chae needed to taste what happened to Baek Sul, albeit a small dose.

The dog is sniffing around Tae Gyeong. I wonder how Tae Gyeong will shake him off. We are barely half way through the show so I doubt the truth will be revealed any time soon. Hopefully, Tae Gyeong got to her first to ask her not to say anything.

Stella told Tae Gyeong that she is helping Lucia with her revenge. This is not true- she refused go to the U.S. without Baek Sul because she needed her for her revenge. So they are helping each other.
And they confirmed that her son was killed in a car accident.

Pan Sul is becoming too ambitious because of that collateral. It is time to relieve him of the temptation.

The look of disgust on Lucia's face after giving the Chairman a peck on his cheek 😂.

So does Manager Gong actually like Kyung Chae? The way she described her as a backstabber and described Se Ri as dumb.

Seon Jae will become redundant soon if he does not do anything to shift things in his favour. He doesn't seem to have anything to do now that that Lucia no longer works there. All he did was follow her around🤣🤣.
At least Kyung Chae knows that he is just using her.

It's fascinating how everyone seems to know about the slush fund and ledger, and discuss it openly like it's not illegal. The only person who probably does not know is Ji Seop 😂. They don't trust him.
And Ji Seop could have simply asked his wife about where the collateral is kept. He didn’t need to ask the in-laws and look suspicious.

I kinda feel sorry for Manager Gong. When the Chairman and Kyung Chae go to jail, and Se Ri goes off with Stella, what will become of her. There is no way she will continue to work for Soo Jung and Ji Seop. Her life has started changing and even bigger changes are coming. After 30 years of service, she will need to figure out who she is without the Min family.
