Yes, he was. I cried when he was talking to his mother. It was so sweet. He has really matured and he is so happy…
She looked really nice.

wow, so this was the plan now that the end is near. No shock that Gi Chan has terminal cancer. They kind of set…
Ji Ho calling Jae In, "mom" was a bit strange because she didn’t even go back to say bye to him when she finally left the house.
Maybe he does not know what else to call her. Or could the writers be foreshadowing that she will help to raise him? I doubt Tae Oh will leave him behind, though. Or maybe the writers were trying to show Tae Oh that Jae In can help Ji Ho with the transition 🤷‍♂️.

Min Doo Sik is having a bad day...😂.

While Stella and Lucia's plan is good, there are far too many wildcards to control. Ji Seop is trying to get as many shares as possible; Kyung Chae is planning to oust her Dad and become Chairwoman; and who knows what Soo Jung will do. Let the fireworks begin.

I laughed during yesterday's episode when Ja Kyung asked Lucia to give the family a heads-up if she is planning to have a baby. When Lucia said that won’t happen, Ja Kyung wondered why since they sleep in the same bed. Ja Kyung has been sleeping in the same bed as Ji Seop for years, why don't they have a child yet?😂😂😂.

Manager Gong told Kyung Chae that there's nothing worse than being separated from your child. Is she speaking from experience? I still think Yeon Ah might be her daughter or maybe Tae Joo might be her son. She and Yeon Ah get along so well.

Gi Chan makes me so sad. Even now when they are plotting to take him down, there is such a heaviness in my heart. I just feel so bad for him. And now he is dying. Such tragic storylines are usually reserved for the male leads and this is another sign that he is the real male lead of the show. In The Brave Yong Su Jeong, the actor playing Do Yun was the male lead too and it ended with him getting a terminal brain tumour.

The scene between Jae In and Gi Chan where he says he will turn himself in- loaded with emotions and I love the background music that is playing whenever they are talking to each other.

I hope Gi Chan gets the opportunity to repent before he dies so he can at least be reunited with Eun Ho in the afterlife. He can find solace in that.

Will Suk Ja ever grow up?

On a lighter note-it's starting to look like Na Ra finally got her man 💘, and she won the bet about whose crush will succeed in the end. Seung Woo even smiled after forcing her to meet him for the movie 😁 and told his cousin that it was not a date🤣.
He can help her get through her trauma🙏.

Seung U was so sweet to his mother and Na Ra today.
Yes, he was. I cried when he was talking to his mother. It was so sweet. He has really matured and he is so happy now. I think his cousin, Do Yun, might be annoyed with him, though, for setting up a blind date for Tae Oh and Jae In🤣🤣🤣.

I think it's safe to say that the Na Ra and Seung Woo ship has taken off😍. I knew they were going to use the 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' trick on him😂😂. And he insinuated that there would be a second 'date'. He even confided in her about his parentage- which is good because the fire killed his uncle. Such revelations can stall relationships- better it is out in the open before they start anything.

Just like what I've said in my update review on Viki recently, I spent about 89 episodes despising and hating…
This is such an excellent assessment.
The writers have really challenged our emotions and the actor playing Gi Chan brought their vision to life.
There is also a lot of chemistry between Jae In and Gi Chan.

This is a devastating portrait of fractured legacies and illusions unraveling. You’ve laid bare the contradictions…
Regarding Soo Jung's Mom- I think Kyung Chae did it. Stella and Lucia first discussed it a few weeks ago and then they waited for Tae Joo to find that lady from the hospital. If they were making it up, they would not have waited- they could have hired someone to pretend. And Kyung Chae did not exactly deny it when she was alone with her Dad. And she told Soo Jung that her Mom started everything by ruining her family.

Ohhh. Great move by Lucia💪.

I laughed at your description of Seon Jae as a happy hopping rabbit🤣🤣.

I mean the new document- I thought that maybe it's a will or share transfer agreement for Lucia. If it is about a transfer, it needs to be notarized so Lucia can get her shares.

The Chairman should not go into a coma before Kyung Chae finds out that he murdered her ex. They need to fight.

I also saw YT clips. Did Lucia set him up to see the document? She looked worried when she grabbed it from him.

Did you see the Chairman collapse? I hope Lucia makes it in time to save him- I don't think he has notarized the document yet. He cannot go into a coma before Lucia gets the shares. It seems like Stella and Lucia are expecting him to collapse. I still need to watch yesterday's episode.

Gi Chan is a far more compelling character because he is multidimensional. Do Yun is one-dimensional and unfortunately,…
True- Tae Oh is a bit shady which is another reason why I worry about him just taking Ji Ho and going the U.S. Can he be a good Dad?
Even with how he moved into Gi Chan's home. He kinda guilted Gi Chan into letting him stay there. But he told Jae In that Gi Chan invited him because he must be desperate to sell the artwork .

i just feel TO is pouring it on too thick - like maybe he and JI are acting it out to make GC jealous….. just…
If it is a trap- I think that makes things worse because it would be another plan that Jae In is implementing without telling Do Yun. Do Yun will see it as her not trusting him enough to implement the plan. Yet she trusted the new guy.
Jae In is always trying to keep Do Yun safe by excluding him. After her failed attempt at sending the H and K contract, Do Yun told her not to act alone in the future. She said yes but she was not very convincing. She will do it again.

That being said- I like that Tae Oh is straightforward. He does not beat about the bush and makes his intentions known.

Theo must be his American name.

I think Suk Ja is telling truth. Honestly, when she told her story, I felt sorry for her. She was a struggling widow with three young children, with not real skills to get a good job. Did she do the wrong and immoral thing?- absolutely yes. But I understand how her desperation led her there. I also commend her for not dumping her kids at an orphanage after her husband died. She could have done that at any time and she would be an even worse person.
Unfortunately, because she did not call for help during the fire, it now looks like she deliberately left Do Yun's Dad to die so she could get the insurance money. She says she barely made it out with Na Ra but who will believe her now?

Yes- Do Yun has been trapped in the box of a good guy so bringing in someone like Tae Oh can balance things out on Jae In's side. Tae Oh looks like he can be a little grey, like Jae In, and Jae In needs someone like that. However, it means even fewer scenes for Do Yun.

And yes- Gi Chan can be naive and he is not as calculative as Se Ri- with Do Hee and Jae In's Dad- he did not plan their deaths- he landed in these situations and made split-second terrible decisions . And Se Ri and his Mom have influenced a lot of his decisions.

Then there is his family- they mess things up and he is always putting out fires that they start. Any other villain would have abandoned that family as soon as they became an adult. But he is loyal to them. That's why he is such a unique villain- his life is quite messy.

Yeah as ppl said, GC is effectivelly the ML in this drama bc he and JI get the most scenes... So GC is now experiencing…
Gi Chan is a far more compelling character because he is multidimensional. Do Yun is one-dimensional and unfortunately, quite boring. So the writers cannot do much with him. And now he has been relegated to a lovesick puppy whom
Jae In sees as someone she needs to protect and not someone who can help her implement her plans. And introducing someone like Tae Oh means even fewer scenes for Do Yun. But someone like Tae Oh is necessary on Jae In's side because he looks like someone who can go grey, like Jae In, if necessary. The writers have trapped Do Yun in the good guy box. Everyone else is playing chess while he is playing checkers.

A story is only as good as its villiain and Gi Chan has done a stellar job.

I think Theo's name is Tae Oh or Tae Ho. Will have to check again.

Didn't Tae Oh meet Jae In years ago, well before Jae In met Do Yun? So by Do Yun's logic, Tae Oh could have liked her first 🤔.

I really enjoy watching Gi Chan- the actor is really good at displaying the different emotions. He has even managed to make me feel sorry for him and today, after hearing him talk to his Mom, I get it why I can't completely hate him. He has never been happy- he has done so much evil to get to the top but it never brought him any happiness and it left him lonely. This makes him a different kind of villain. Now he is about to lose his son and might be terminally ill. If he is ill, I think death would best ending for him- dying while trying to save Jae In or something. He is so miserable and I don't want him to suffer in jail. Unlike Se Ri, she should go to jail. Also, his Mom dreaming of Do Yun's Dad might be a sign that someone close to her might die.

Do Yun- he is more like Jae In's brother at this point 😂😂😂. That scene at the end when Gi Chan and Tae Oh are basically grabbing Jae In's hand- it felt like Do Yun was told to go to the playpen so the adults can talk 😂😂😂. He is so out of place and what does he mean, he liked her first? Really? Are they in high school? He is begging for her affection. Jae In does not see him as an equal. She withholds information from him and does things in secret and in her own way. I guess it's because it's her fight with Gi Chan. I can't even say that Do Yun's role in the show is to be supporting cast for Jae In because she does not tell him much. If Do Yun and Jae In's future as a couple was not already set in stone, I would definitely ship Tae Oh and Jae In. They are similar in so many ways and they have great chemistry.
This is my first time watching a show where the female lead has three men chasing after her.

Ultimately, Queen's House is really the Gi Chan and Jae In show and everyone else is the supporting cast. They need to do more with Se Ri. The second female lead is usually more dangerous than this.

I don't think the tonic is meant to kill. Am assuming he is taking chronic medication and maybe it is not supposed…
😂.
I am just glad it's not the bad guys on a winning streak. It's so much worse when they win.
But I look at it this way- the bad guys have been winning their entire lives and now it's time for them to pay for their actions.

🤣on Queen's House, the good guys have been on a winning streak for so long, I am starting to get worried that one of them will get killed before the show ends next week. The bad guys need to have a major win before their downfall.
