A time skip makes sense- maybe after Gi Chan dies.

How was he as a villain?

The big smile Seung Woo had for Na Ra🥰. Seung Woo of 20 episodes ago would be appalled 😂😂. I am glad Na Ra kinda "dumped" him because she doesn't want him to be used by her mother. It shows just how much she likes him and Seung Woo likes that she likes him. I guess he might have to chase her for a bit- but we only have two episodes left. And Na Ra is about to lose her older brother 🤧😪. She needs all the support she can get.

Maybe the last 15 minutes. I am yet to watch a revenge drama that is stress-free and happy for the entire final episode. But there is a first time for everything.

Tae Joo is good at playing the role of a criminal. Today, he plays the role of a petty thief, trying to steal the Chairman's wallet. The Chairman stands up to him, proving that he is faking it. Lucia and co. just got a major upper hand, in this game of chess (or game of thrones).

Someone in YT comments said, "Min Doo Sik can tolerate lipstick drawn all over him but not money taken away from him" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

We will have to agree to disagree- I do not hold it against Stella for what she did 40 years ago. It's about who she is today and I think she is a better person and it looks like her son forgave her.

I re-watched episode 61 about the tonic- Stella never said anything about giving it to her husbands.

These writers are cheeky. They knew that some people, mainly me, would start feeling sorry for Gi Chan and maybe empathising with him, so they decided, at the beginning of episode 97, to list all of his crimes, just to remind us of his numerous sins. It's like the writers were asking if I was sure that I felt sorry for him. This is why they are cheeky- they could have kept him evil and unrepentant, but they decided to make him a complicated villain. I can't help but compare him to Thanos in the Avengers- a complicated anti-villain. So to answer the question- yes- I still feel sorry for him. Watching everything go so wrong for him reminded me of when he and Se Ri did the same to Jae In. It was painful to watch her go through all that, and it is equally painful to watch him go through it now, even though he was aggressor. I really found no joy in watching him lose everything because the writers have humanised him and have shown us how unhappy he was, in spite of gaining what he thought was the world, only to be left empty, and realising it too late. And when he decided to make a change, he was hit with several major challenges, i.e. terminal cancer and losing another son whom he adores. And then he loses his job. I think hearing all his crimes listed like that might have shocked him a bit because it all started with small innocent crimes- a little compromise here, a little compromise there, and before you know it, you are committing even bigger crimes. The laugh-cry in the end was a sign of someone defeated.
And in the midst of all this chaos, he still manages to be a good son and brother- he assures his mother that he will still take care of her and the family, and he does not confront Se Ri about Ji Ho, because he wants to figure out if she is the one who pushed Gi Man. Then he is doubling over in pain 😪. I think that because he is dying, he will let Ji Ho go.

Three episodes left and I am curious to see how the writers will end the story of this very tragic character. All signs are pointing to his death- I can only hope he gets some peace, and maybe forgiveness, before he dies. And may it be a quick death- not too much suffering.

As for Se Ri- she has remained evil and unrepentant- I will revel in her downfall. True revenge for her would be the loss of her son, in the same manner that Eun Ho was killed. But with Lee Teo in the picture, I don't think the writers would do that to him. I don't get Teo- you help Gi Chan lose his money only to offer to provide for him financially as payment for taking care of Ji Ho.
I also don't like when bio-parents come in and offer money in exchange for the other parent abandoning the kid to them. I was glad that Gi Chan asked him if he wants to separate father and son. I really don't like how Teo is doing things- Ji Ho is not a baby who has not formed any real relationships with people and can easily adjust to a new life. He is seven and loves these people- so he needs to consider Ji Ho feelings. In any case, with three episodes left, there is not much time to explore that so the writers will fast-track Ji Ho's attachment to Teo.

The scene when Teo was shouting at Gi Chan was not well-acted. The actor must not be used to shouting angrily.

I feel like Teo just needs to open his mouth to make Do Yun nervous and sad. I really don't think Teo is after Jae In. He is focussing on returning to the U.S. with Ji Ho. But now that he has found his sister, he might stick around S. Korea for a bit.

The actor playing Do Yun should target second male lead positions for future projects- second male leads have much more fun and are quite versatile. Do Yun has become a part of the supporting cast- there is nothing really memorable about him. (Even watching Seung Woo's character growth was more interesting.) But Gi Chan has left quite the long-lasting impression.

Gi Chan is definitely MVP. The actor has done an incredible job and I wondered if the actor playing Do Yun had asked to play Gi Chan, instead, would he have been able to pull it off? I don't think so. Park Yoon Jae is really good. I think the actors playing Jae In and Gi Chan got the best roles because their characters have been multi-dimensional and had to express a wide range of emotions. The roles really challenged them as actors and they both rose to the challenge.

It's always tricky when families go from poverty to wealth. They don’t want their kids to suffer like they did and so they do everything for them. Instead of equipping them for the world, they are ruining them.

But in this case, I think it's Pan Sul's fault. He probably didn't want his daughter to work so his wife had no say. It's another reason why he married her off to a rich family.

It's interesting how the Chairman's kids spent the entire episode fighting over what to do with him, but none of them went to see him.

Seon Jae is not very bright- why say such things in front of the Chairman? I am just glad he did not mention Lucia's identity.
I cannot wait to see the looks on Kyung Chae and Seon Jae's faces when their plans fall through and Lucia becomes Chairwoman. Kyung Chae might actually shave her head this time😂😂😂😂.

Who knew Ji Seop could follow Seon Jae and eavesdrop without getting caught? I was so scared he would get caught.

Does Kyung Chae even care about Se Ri? She is so busy with her plan that she has not considered Se Ri's feelings at seeing the only Dad she has ever known being sick and possibly being taken away to a nursing home where she will never see him again.
And that is when she plans to tell her that she is her Mom? Just because she has made it to the top? If Se Ri had known about her Mom all along, she would not have acted out all her life and Mi So's attack and subsequent death could have been avoided.

I don't think I could ever empathise with the Chairman- he has been like this his whole life and found joy in the results of his actions. He even groomed his daughter to be like him.
But with Queen's House, I cannot help but feel sorry for Gi Chan. It's not just the terminal illness but everything going wrong for him at once.
You are right, the revenge is more fun and fulfilling when they remain evil, unrepentant and healthy until the end. Like Se Ri- she will never repent. I will enjoy her downfall. With Gi Chan- it has become super
complicated. I guess he represents the life journey- how we go through life chasing the things that we think will make us happy but they don't. And by the time we finally realise it and want to make a change, we are hit with major challenges.

I think her mother is far better because at least she knows how to cook and clean. If Ja Kyung is kicked out now, she will not survive without her parents' help. She will just move back home.

No redemption for Kyung Chae- she will remain evil even when she is behind bars. She is just like her Daddy.

A redemption arc for Se Ri for sure. I don't think Stella should be disqualified- she abandoned her child about 40 years ago- I am sure she regrets it and has matured a lot since then. And Se Ri is an adult now so it should be fine. BUT I will not be surprised if Se Ri asks for Seol Hui to be her Mom in the end so she can spend the rest of her life paying her back for what she did to Mi So.

I am looking forward to Seol Hui and Tae Gyeong's wedding♥️ . I hope they have one, at least.

I don't recall Stella ever saying that she gave them to her husbands- she just said to give the Chairman the tonic, they will make him dull at night.

Isn't Kyung Chae involved in white collar crime like her Dad and Seon Jae? I think she will go down for that. She knows about the slush funds and everything.

I really don't think the tonic is toxic. The headaches are very likely from the surgery and stress. I also don't think Stella killed her husbands.

I just watched clips on YT- Ja Kyung is not very bright- she put lipstick on the Chairman's lips 🤣🤣🤣 and got Manager Gong to scold the Chairman for his treatment of her 🤣🤣. She was so relieved to get some things off her chest. Then he pulled their hair 🤣🤣🤣.

😂😂 Kyung Chae will be in jail at that point. I think Soo Jung will be Chairwoman in the end.

So if Seon Jae gives Kyung Chae his shares now, will she give them back after their scheme fails?

Seon Jae asked her to name him CEO on the same day she becomes Chairwoman but she said only family can be named CEO. So they have to marry before that day.
