Yeah- I was hoping that he was playing her but he really loves her. This is such a tragic love story for Ji Seok. There is no way this ends well. He, and we,the audience, are yet find out the extremes Se Yeong will go to to keep what she believes is rightfully hers.
Ji Seok gets deceived easily- first by Se Yeong and now, Seung Ho- he doesn't look deeper, and he thinks he knows better than everyone else.
Also- when he fell for Se Yeong- did he know she was Yeo Jin's niece? Or did he find out after? Maybe she is his chess piece.

Yes- the plan is seriously flawed. Ha Na has a picture of her family on her desk of when they were younger. So does  Ji Seok- if Myeong Ji or Se Yeong see any of these pictures, then, the plan falls apart.

This plan is dangerous for Eun Chong too- right now Myeong Ji does not know who he really is. Because she knows Yu Jin is dead, she will start investigating her life and find out she had a child. Then Myeong Ji will shift her focus from harming Ha Na to harming Eun Chong and everyone else will be none the wiser. She might even collude with those who were after Yu Jin in the US.  Maybe they are the ones who killed Yu Jin before Myeong Ji's guy could and he just happened to witness it?

Jin Goo is wrong for participating. If Ha Na does end up seeking revenge, she may want to get revenge against him too, and rightfully so. She trusted him and he used that to his advantage. He deceived her. This also shows how little he cares for his fiancée- he is working against her goals.

It would be nice if Seong Ho could tell Ha Na the truth so she is equipped. Or will he move back home to protect her and Eun Chong?

At least Ha Na can now adopt Eun Chong- so she can take him when she leaves.

Welcome- it has been surprisingly good so far- I hope they can keep up the momentum.

Yeah- he's not a bad person. It will be fun to watch him beg for forgiveness- the actor is so good at showing the different emotions so it would be interesting.

I mentioned marketing because when Cha Rim was talking to the Chairman about a replacement, she mentioned that he should look for someone who is good at studying markets.

And Ji Seok's parents seemed to be close to the Chairwoman- didn't they ever see the missing child posters twenty years ago? Or maybe they didn't know the Chairwoman back then 🤷‍♀️ but those posters should have been everywhere and they knew Yu Jin

This thought just came to mind- what if JY gets her money back but what will be left will be the amount she should have received after paying taxes, if she had paid when she inherited it 15 years ago🤔.

😆 yes- physical appearance. With regards to personality- I meant the personalities of the characters they are playing. I would not ship those kind of characters together.

Cha Rim seems to live in her own world and fails to see reality. It's only a matter of time before TU reprimands her for her behaviour at work and how she treats her superiors.

I also don't think TU is suitable for fashion design- he should have gone to the Marketing department. Gang Ju really put a lot of work into it - even going the factories to look at the materials and clothes- that takes a lot of passion.
Maybe TU can go into real estate- he seems to be really good at that. But I won't be surprised if he ends up going back to the dry cleaners to work- he seems to enjoy that.

You are so right. A person can be blinded by love but also think logically. His Mom would be so heartbroken if she saw this because, this time, he is doing it to himself. He should fight back.
Then he said he did not blame her🤦‍♂️. She should have been in the room when he was being berated by her family. Then she would have realised that that was not the time for confessions and kissing.

I honestly would not ship Gang Ju and Da Rim in real life lol- they enable each other.

She does not listen🤦‍♂️- doing this was probably worse than returning the money, if that's possible. I was even more annoyed when she started crying and confessed her feelings- like was she trying to absolve her guilt? It just didn't feel right and the timing was wrong.

On a side note: I just thought about this- MY would never return the money even if her parents were on their death beds due to shock. So why Gang Ju?!!😒 Am still super annoyed with him. And he doesn't even defend himself after all those false accusations- he just kneels to apologise. Why can't he be more like his mother? 🤦‍♂️

Cha Rim needs a major failure so she can see that it’s not okay to treat people the way she does, just because she is talented.

I hope Gang Ju returns to his old job- while he loves film, he also loves fashion and is really excited about it. Maybe he can find a way to merge the two.
Am sure he will swoop in to save the day at the company at some point.

On that note- I don’t think TU and Cha Rim will go any where. TU is still trying to find himself and his place in his new family, and she is trying to turn him into something he’s not, just to suit her own agenda. So, in this regard, they are too different- she is not good for him. DR actually sees TU for who he is.

I am not completely convinced that TU does not have feelings for DR- there was that scene early on when she was blind and washing his back- he felt really uncomfortable and then the awkwardness after the movie. And he did say that he would never go there with her- not that he didn’t like her.

I also don’t get how TU can be two different people- so sweet with DR’s fam and so cold when he is around the Chairman and company. If there were more than 36 episodes, I would think he would become a villain. But with 12 episodes to go, there is really no villain in this show. TU is a wronged party- his bio Mom messed up and his Dad currently lacks emotional intelligence so he just needs to figure what suits him the best.

Initially, I thought BH and the Chairman would get together (when I still felt sorry for BH- not anymore!!!!!!!!😒) but they are just too different. BH is a thief who no longer sees anything wrong with spending the money- she really thinks it belongs to her family- even wanting to marry off DR with it.

So why bother with BH’s longstanding crush on the Chairman and their friendship? I think it was really a plot device to use her to bring TU and the Chairman together. The Chairman would only listen to someone he is comfortable with. Another reason they cannot get together- both her daughters like both of his sons, so she would not stand in her daughters’ ways. Hopefully, they introduce a new guy for her.

On top of that, getting together with BH would be too easy because she already likes him. Seung Don needs to work hard to regain JY's love- he should beg, grovel and chase- the same way Gang Ju has been chasing after Da Rim.

I like the Chairman. I don’t like some of his actions, though. He is such a complex character- this shows in how he can be serious and smile sometimes. Like when Gang Ju was drunk in the office after finding out about TU- the Chairman smiled at him and Gang Ju told him to stop smiling at him so endearingly. Or when he was crying in the car after his ex’s funeral. Or when he was concerned about Gang Ju sleeping in a cold room. Or the way he would rush to the hospital whenever Gang Ju was injured.

I don’t think he knows how to love or to express it, and this could stem from his past. He was struggling and BH had to help him financially so he could finish school. He also has a broken heart from his relationship with TU’s Mom and refuses to forgive her. He needs to forgive so he can heal and move on, and embrace the love he has for his wife and son (Gang Ju), and start to love TU. I also think he is scared of loving them because he doesn’t want his heart to be broken again, especially with the 'divorce'. The way he kicked Gang Ju out of his room was really mean and disappointing. Like, are there only three rooms in that house? Or maybe he is trying to make Gang Ju stop loving him so he can protect his own heart, in case he reciprocates, and Gang Ju ends up abandoning him. Twisted and extreme, yes, but plausible.

Gang Ju being fired- am not too upset about because Gang Ju did breach his contract. The Chairman was about to reinstate him before he lied to him about his Mom searching for the money. And now he is lying again to his own mother- she was right when she said she feels like her son will betray her😪 .

Hopefully, after JY moves back in (and tortures them a bit), the Chairman’s walls will start to break down, especially when he realises how much he actually missed her, and when he sees her interacting with TU and getting along with him. I want him and JY back together- they are really good together and they have great chemistry as a family, with Gang Ju. I hope she makes him work hard to get her back, though- maybe when she tries to leave again, he will have some kind of epiphany and fight for her and Gang Ju. Then maybe she can replace the picture of the three of them that fell and broke, with a picture of the four of them. Maybe it fell because it was incomplete- TU was missing.

It would be nice to have another wedding for the Chairman and JY in the end, instead of one for the main couple.

JY is the victim in all this- the money is her inheritance so I would like to see her get a very happy ending.

Side note: Have you noticed how the Chairman buttons and unbuttons his suit? He unbuttons it when he cannot control his emotions when he is angry- like when he was shouting at TU about posting the news about Gang Ju. Then at the house, when he was about to tell Gang Ju to move out of his room, he buttoned his suit like he was trying to control his emotions 🤔.

My perspective on the Chairman and my hopes for him:

I don't think they will be jailed. I mentioned below that they will suffer in other ways- it will come at the cost of their relationships- especially Da Rims's guilt over everything and it might cost her her romance since JY will likely be against it after the money reveal. And Mu Rim- if he covers- it might cost him his marriage and his job.

What if JY comes across the money somehow, and takes and keeps it without telling anyone? That would be hilarious.

I am so annoyed with Gang Ju- why did he return the money? He should have just left things as they were and watched how they played out. Like his father said, he is too soft for his own good. It's also funny how JY predicted that her son would betray her lol

I hope you are right about Bong Hee. She has her own problems at home.
Oh- I meant I hope she won't move in after she hears that JY has moved in- she might want to protect TU from JY.

I think your guess was right- I agreed with it at the time but then the divorce happened and I was not sure.

Yeah- the divorce papers- she took them with her and at the hotel, Gang Ju begged her not to submit them and she just ignored him. That was a sign.

I liked the idea of 36 episodes, at first, because it meant fewer filler episodes but now, maybe 40 would have been better.

It would be fun watching TU and Gang Ju fight for JY's attention. I wonder if they will have TU lift her up and run, the way Gang Ju does whenever she is about to cause trouble 😂. Gang Ju would lose his mind if that happened.
