Wow I agree with everything you wrote 100%!! šš¼I think FLās backstory sufficiently justified her overly cautious disposition when it came to matters of the heart But because of MLās unwavering devotion, consistent support & steadfast love for the FL, she had already crossed her self imposed safety zone quite early on in the drama. Her body language, her actions, the way she looked at him, etcā¦.it was very obvious to me that she loved the ML all the while. Thatās why I didnāt find it a slowburn romance.
Regarding FLās acting, I disagree with many here that it was bland n boring. I would use the word āsubtleā instead and aptly so too because of the situation. She explained all that to LN - a particularly timid-in-love afraid-to-be-hurt older sister meeting a dynamic, fearless and spunky little brother with a huge chance of turning her life upside down. So if this was how she felt, how could viewers expect the FL to act in the same way as the ML? If you ask me, Iāll say that FLās character is much harder to play than MLās.
Anyway I really enjoyed this drama. I agree it was dragged out a wee bit too much but I still want to keep all the mundane lovey dovey scenes in the last 2 episodes. Maybe itād be more acceptable to the viewers at large if these scenes were all lumped into the epilogue together with the hair cutting scene ?
Hi. I started this drama lateā¦..but Iām loving it!! First time watching ZYT and now Iām a big fan! Sheās such a natural actress she doesnāt look like sheās acting at all! Love WL all this while so Iām really loving this pair! So convincing in their roles and the story is interesting, well paced and tastefully filmed. The supporting cast is also wonderful with well developed characters n backstories. Such an enjoyable show to watch.

Totally agree with you. It got to a point that it became ridiculous. I actually stopped after abt 10mins into Ep 42! This is after investing all the time to watch up to 41 Ep! When she self-sacrificed on Shunde my jaw literally dropped. I couldnāt believe it! ChangYi shdve thrown his arms in the air and shouted āWhat?! Again?! Actually I donāt think itāll be meaningful or enjoyable to skip part 1 and jump straight to 2.
Personally I enjoyed this drama a lot and 56 episodes felt too short (10 episodes too short to be exact š). To me itās a very well made masterpiece but then everyoneās got different tastes soā¦.. Just bear in mind that the romance is rather slow but because of that itās also very convincing and rewarding.š

Really??!! I had no idea LLTG novel had time travelling, supernatural, body swapping elements!! The drama version is one of the most down to earth, homely, earthy and rustic dramas Iāve ever seen! Thereās no mention whatsoever about the āmodern girlā within CSSā soul in the drama at all! So interesting!!
