I suppose under the context of her being alone for hundreds of years, betrayed by bad and good people, strangers and family, plus after that, being and living as a man for hundreds of years…. It must be somewhat of a cultural shock to her to be pursued and loved by a man now. She’d be completely clueless on how to react considering that she couldn’t Google on the topic nor watch some rom-com dramas on tv for some guidance. I suspect she would have been elated and relieved if indeed she was handed a script to follow thru this unprecedented, refreshing and appealing boy-girl relationship journey.

XL vs TSJ

I think and I believe XY would agree with me too 😆, if ALL the baggage, pre-commitments, shackles, roadblocks, etc of XL and TSJ respectively, are removed or miraculously resolved, XY would pick still pick TSJ as her one true love. That means based only on these 2 guys’ character, temperament, upbringing, principles and internal traits, XY would pick TSJ over XL without hesitation. And if she hesitates at all, it’s likely because of guilt and compassion. Agree?

Totally agree with you on all counts. I’ve now finished part1 and am starting part 2 soon….yes XL clearly loves XY and he’s even more selfless than TSJ in this respect. I can see XY is also attracted to him and even considered being with him but that is mostly only after TSJ married FFYY and had a baby. Deep deep down XY still love TSJ the most.

Come to think of it…they do resemble battle helmets. 😂

TJC is a fine actor too. I don’t mind watching this drama esp with the doggie guy.

So far CX’s weddings are so casual they don’t look at all like weddings. More like one overdressed woman making her way through the parliamentary hallway to greet the emperor at the far end. XY’s weddings on the other hand are so grand and mystical! There’s even a step&glow platform !

It just occured to me, when XY was little, she was captured and tortured for years by a 9 tailed fox. Isn’t that exactly what TSJ is??? Did anyone notice that? Not sure if it’s significant or anything.

I really don’t get ep 38. CX’s uncles attempting to assassinate CX in his Emperoro Grandad’s palace! In broad daylight?! Together with XY, the princess of another Kingdom and who’s a favourite of Emperor Grandad as well?! And nobody, NOBODY went to their rescue! FL & TSJ went but ended up playing chess with Emperor Grandad while CX and XY were fighting for their lives! And after the attempt failed (in the most incredulous manner), no one investigates the attack?? I’m perplexed.

Really? XL did that for them? Why?? I know he loves XY but he doesn’t give 2 hoots about TSJ and let’s not forget that TSJ is also his love rival.
