After reading many of the comments here…..I just wanna say….im so glad I’ve got like 14 episodes to go! 🤣🤣
Anyways, this is such an enjoyable and engaging drama…interesting story, great acting and chemistry and the romance is actually heartwarming and wholesome (san all the little nonsense here n there)…
….this is my first drama with SWL…. I normally skip his dramas cos of many reviews I’ve come across about his poor acting….so what a pleasant surprise to see he’s not only a good actor, he has very good chemistry with the FL and other cast members. So thanks for recommending this drama!
I don’t think you missed anything. 😊 I actually think that’s exactly what the drama wants us to question. To…
Thanks for that detailed analysis. I thought I missed something because there was a brief flashback scene where MJ was reading some old phone messages - something about “I’m sorry” “Are you still mad at me ?” and she looked angry reading them and appeared to have not replied to them out of spite. But I couldn’t be sure who wrote those messages and under what context they were said.
As for your fine fine observations about what might have transpired (written like a pro psychologist I’ve to say! 👍🏼), I totally agree with you on CY’s story but I’m still a little doubtful about MJ’s. From where or what scenes did you gather that she ignored CY for 6 years out of respect? I think I missed that for sure.
He was working in the underworld. He wouldn't contact her for her safety. Even when she just came back he wanted…
Yes I guessed as much from his traumatising flashbacks…. Just not sure how come he ended up in such a dark place suddenly after an unexplained fire…but I’m sure all this will be explained later.
I find it quite strange that if CY & MJ really loved each other so much and regard each other as the only family member in the whole world, how could they part ways for 6 whole years without any visit or contact? I can understand CY did that to protect MJ and he was overseas most of the time….but how come MJ didn’t contact or visit him for 6 years and only came back because she happened to have work in her hometown? Or did I miss something?
The question is a bit subjective...what is toxic and/or dark may not be so for another. I can't watch horror movies,…
Haha u have a point! Dark and toxic to me just means depressing… l watch dramas to relax & enjoy myself….so I prefer not to end up feeling sad and depressed or stressed after watching a drama. Anyways I’ve started and it’s good! Thanks.
The ML loves the FL and her safety and happiness is his bottom line. He did something for her so she could go…
Ok…that bit abt ML doing something that led him into a dark place is what I was worried about… like he killed someone to protect her and was jailed for years…..But judging from MarieLaure and Twinty’s replies…. nothing like that will happen… so I’m going to proceed to watch! Thanks!
I’m threading very carefully here (trying to find out a bit more about this drama to see if it’s worth watching) coz there are spoilers everywhere! I’ve decided that it’s probably safer to just post a question here…. I saw many mixed reviews so far and the not so good ones mostly mentioned words like “toxic” and “dark”. Can someone please confirm if it is indeed dark and toxic for if it is, I will shun. Thanks!
