This drama also has one of the nicest costumes I’ve seen! Especially ZLY’s. And the set designers have good taste too. 👍🏼👍🏼

After SL was badly injured by FS with the 6 nails and was saved by XZ who disguised himself as a fisherman, why did he not disguise himself after a short while and he still thought SL couldn’t recognise him??

I find Eye more handsome than the ML & Bluehair. 🙊 I think it’s because he doesn’t wear as much makeup as the other 2. Sometimes the ML’s makeup is so thick and white it’s not very nice. I wonder why they do that?

Ok I’ve finished the drama! Actually I cheated. After reading the spoilers here I couldn’t bear to continue the drama… I stopped at ep 18….then I watched the summary video!

My conclusion - what a sadistic writer/director! It is bad enough that the ML and FL parted ways far far too early (10 episodes!) and didn’t meet at all even till the very end, but why create so many near misses of them meeting? Like when ML bumped into her but she was covered up in Bluehair’s arms. Make her faint just in time to miss hearing ML’s voice, drop her hair twig just after he turns away; ML deciding to rest a night just in time to miss everything the next day?! If he made it on time, it could’ve been a very HE! They even made the pair miss seeing the Nordic lights together by like 1 second! The moment they left the lights appeared! Why do that?! Just don’t let the lights appear at all or appear 1 hour after they leave for Pete’s sake! ! And I don’t buy that they’re just not meant to be metaphor crap!

Many here watched the drama knowing at the outset that it’s got a BE (not me though) but yet many still come back here lately to rant about the drama. I think it’s because BE is acceptable to them but not this type of sadistic BE with a lack of ML/FL romantic moments, skinship, confessions, etc; final separation of ML & FL with 10 episodes left (that’s like 1/3 of the drama!) . Most cruel part is that the FL lives in guilt for 31 episodes and dies without ever knowing the ML doesn’t blame her!!…..and this is the guilt that prevented her from starting anything romantic with ML and always made me suspect she never loved him!

Great acting by the leads and the seconds though but not a fan of the story - Groundhog Day of getting injured and healed story powered by deceit and an 8 year wild goose chase. Don’t like the moose-head villain’s little hut set-up…it kinda cheapens and ridicules the drama. Love the hair makeup n costumes. ZY is gorgeous & ZB dashing! I think it’s a very well made and watchable drama but it’s just a bit too sad and sadistic for me.

I know!! I read your spoiler rant above!! Omg!! I can’t believe it - 10 episodes without meeting TILL THE END!!? Even if the 2 leads were to Meet after 10 episodes that is unacceptably long in my books! (Max maybe 3 episodes? ) But not meeting at all?! And one of them dying too?? I seriously don’t think I can watch this…..maybe I Will stop at 22. Sigh.

Thanks for that….i needed it….. I’ve been reading some spoilers and I know it’s a VBE! But based on all the prepping by FL it really could’ve been made into a HE! I think the director is more cruel than the villain!

I just want to know, in the end, is it absolutely crystal clear that the FL actually has romantic feelings towards the ML? I.e. NOT platonic or other type of love, nor love due to guilt, responsibility and whatnot.

I’m at Ep 18 and I still can’t see her love for him. There is a lot of care and concern and fondness and gratefulness towards him, but boy-girl type of love … I don’t think I see it yet. 😅.

Thanks for that interesting info about the Chinese translation although I don’t quite understand how 7 nights of Snow can convey what you’ve described. I only get that 7 probably represents the ML and Snow because of the drama’s main backdrop….🤔

You know those elaborate conical contraptions with the extended spouts that the ML built for the FL to collect dew…..he could’ve just placed buckets under those trees instead…..like he did when he implemented his brilliant idea to collect snow from the plum tree which somehow required the FL to stand beside him. 😆

I’m at ep 16 and I’ve already lost count how many times ML’s been injured and then saved by the FL. It’s getting a little ridiculous and predictable. Don’t know why the director allocates so much time showing the FL doing her medical stuff on the ML. it’s lost all its novelty after the first such scene.

And to think most of the ML’s near death episodes are related to the wild goose’s chase set up by the FL. It’s quite pointless isn’t it? It’s been years since his hunt for the meds… I don’t think he or Mo’s mum are going to kill themselves now if they learn of the truth about Mo. FL shd come clean b4 ML gets killed and FL dies along from over exhaustion from fixing him and Mo’s gonna die too… and when he dies so will his mum now coz she’s the cause of all their deaths!

I think the villains took so long to do their thing because they are very poor financially as evidenced by the sorry state of their sad little old hut where all of them lived in.

I’m only at ep 15 thereabouts……so far I can see ML starting to fall in love with the FL coz he’s feeling uneasy with the close proximity with FL when she’s tending to his injuries… But I’ve yet to see FL falling for ML. Yes, there’s a lot of care and concern but that is obviously borne from guilt more than anything else. In addition, the back story of this lady kinda makes it impossible for her to fall for anyone. She’s too engrossed in seeking revenge and saving the frozen guy. Don’t think she’ll consider marriage or even dating until both her goals are achieved and one of them is not achievable. Is my observation correct? Is this drama going to be about unrequited love?

Is the cgi bad? Hmmm……I shd pay more attention
