Oh was it mentioned that the plant demon saved him? I must’ve missed it when I was forwarding the boring bits. 😅 I’ll go back and watch that.
A sequel be nice coz I enjoyed how they solved cases. Also be interesting to see their kitten baby. Btw, how did WZ become a full demon?
I just finished the drama. I love it! Granted there were many draggy redundant scenes (like many here have shared) but on the whole I enjoyed the story and love the ML & FL story line. Lots of chemistry there.
I felt that the ending was a little anticlimactic - after the Sinister Infact was formed at least have a bit of a battle. So much hype about his powers etc and in the end we don’t even see it. No grand battle. Serpent Lord turned out to be quite powerless which is a pity coz she’s got a cool character which should command some power.
Many parts of the stories have gaps or leaves a lot unexplained. The BIGGEST gap for me is this - MZY is the son of the former Cat Lord??!! What the ?!! If that’s the case, then how come MZY is not a demon too? And how come he can’t recognise his own dad when he traveled back 18 years ago?
Lastly, how did he survive? Why do an epilogue instead of a proper ending?
The FL is a supporting role. When it was announced Dylan is the only top billed for Dafeng. This is a male centric…
That explains a lot….thanks !! I’m at the 20s…the romance is finally budding….ML & FL has a lot of pent up chemistry! Too bad this is not a romance centric drama. Such a waste….i love the relationship set-up… cute, sweet & wholesome.
Ok I’m in the 20s now. The story is getting nicer! But I don’t like ML’s family environment..especially the aunt… even though she’s a good person and cares for ML… I just don’t like her vibes. Not a fan of the little girl too….shes weird
Is this drama really worth its high ratings? I’m now at ep 13 and still am not hooked yet….im not quite sure what’s the point of the story. Shouldn’t ML be trying to find a way back to his modern world? There’s no explanation why he’s there and why he’s not trying to leave. And the FL’s screen time is pathetic. Is she even a lead? She appears so much less than all the sidekicks in that army or police place. I actually like the cast very much but I’m finding this drama so not engaging…..Please let me know if it’s worth continuing …..
Probably because they don't do skin smoothing and actually show natural skin color, i like the makeup in this…
Yes I agree that too much skin smoothing is artificial looking… but here the makeup is cakey… maybe that’s not the right word to use. I don’t mean they piled on too much but it’s just the colour?
Something is very very wrong with everyone’s make-up…or maybe it’s the lighting….Everyone’s skin looks sooooo cakey… I don’t think I’ve ever come across any Cdrama with make-up or lightning that is that bad. Such a pity. The drama is v good.
I’m also here coz I have POJ withdrawal symptoms 😆 ……before coming here, I tried Guardian of Dafeng…. It’s quite ok I guess but not so captivating … so I ventured over to here and oh my! Much more interesting the story! Is that the general consensus?
