The fact that Pat and Put were dating 2 years prior was established a couple times in prior episodes.
I don't know if the versions you are watching are cut...
From Gaga the episode lengths were:
Episode 1 - 48m
Episode 2 - 1h3m
Episode 3 - 1h13m
Episode 4 - 1h24m
Episode 5 - 1h14m (was 1h16m but I think they cut a scene they weren't supposed to do or something)

I don't recall all the episodes but he was getting calls/texts from him.
Flowers were sent at one point.
For the ones I happened to recall...
Check episode 2 around 32m for Put's first appearance with Pat.
Check the end of episode 4 near 1h21m

I don't think it's a scam. It's only about $ 60 a year (That was the price I paid...but that may have been a special offer).
As with everything some shows I can only view on Gaga (Like Long Time No See, etc...).

Depends on the area I guess.
I try to only watch from official sources because I want to support the industry.

I don't actually use the Gaga subscription to watch 1 day ahead... I can wait a day if that was all there was to it.

These all depend on what *most* of the audience wants. (Or what the producers think they want?)

Personally I'd like to see fantasy or sci-fi based BLs (but not some bromance crud!).

Something like yeah, they are a couple... they have some intimate moments (not necessarily any sex scenes even), but have it be secondary to the story rather than the main thing.

Probably won't happen anytime soon since that would cost more... but one can dream!

I think Jeng is very inexperienced with relationships, and he has the issue of being Pat's boss on top of it.

So moving slow in this situation is very rational.

I don't like scenarios where someone is going after someone who's already taken...so I'm not into Jaab's storyline.

In general though, as long as it's not super slow burn then slow is OK....but it has to be rational no matter what the scenario is.

Yeah, I agree Haram's behavior at the start is a problem.
But, although Lee Jun is fairly mellow he's not a pushover. (I'm glad they didn't make him out to be weak).

I recommend that you keep watching until at least episode 4.

I didn't hate it...but it's really not for me.
I'm on episode 14 of 15 and Diao is finally starting to question if he likes Rak...
I'm not into so much teasing/suspense.
Even if they get together right away in episode 14 (I'm just at the beginning of episode 14 right now) that's about 13% of the series left (2 / 15).
If you just watch it as a comedy then it's fine... but as a romance they put the slow in slow burn...

But yes, I agree they could have done things with clothes.

Or..... hear me out for this admittedly shocking thought..... had sex and then took a shower afterwards and put clothes on to cuddle....

It's odd that they use 'release' rather than 'film' or 'produce', but I don't read much into that because the translation for this show has been a bit iffy the entire time.

Those are my favorite couple on the show.

The brother relationship in Love Stage was a bit odd. But it was a decent show. I've watched both the Japanese and Thai versions a couple of times. Not on my all time favorites list, but not bad shows for the genre. (Especially since they were both probably impacted by COVID during filming).

So I rewatched Blueming, I remember now why I didn't have much of an impression of it. I don't want to bash it, I'm sure some like it, and I didn't have any serious issues with it... it just was not to my taste.

I disagree that 'Love Mate' copied that scene. If so you could argue that Blueming copied it from a thousand other shows/movies.

The blue backlight was MUCH heavier in Blueming, in Love Mate it was more like an accident. Like it just happened to look a little blue (except the curtain which may have just had some blue sign outside of it). Aside from when the curtain was shown I really couldn't tell that there was much of 'any' blue light.

As for dropping stuff the packages that they brought....I'm sorry but there just wasn't a lot of time between the door and the couch, so I don't see that as a copy at all. And if it was it is still a very realistic scenario, so copying life is allowed right?

Lights ON is not weird at all.
I like to see the person I'm with.
Some people are more visually oriented that way.
Some people like it in the dark because they are shy/self-conscious.
Neither way is right or wrong. Just a personal preference there.

The accidental kiss was....a less than stellar idea I think.
I don't recall Blueming either, but I'm sure I watched it... it simply didn't leave much of an impression on me.
Maybe I will go re-watch it.

@jpny01 I didn't care for the very aggressive pursuit either, but you have very fair points about the job position and the 3 meter rule that Haram didn't break.

In any event, I was somewhat on the fence with just the first 2 episodes, but I am liking it significantly more now.

Yeah, it's annoying when they do that, or chin kisses with camera angles trying to make it look like they are kissing etc...
I don't need nudity or a big sex scene, but some intimacy that looks legit is important.

Yeah, it's a very delicate situation.
It can be interpreted either way depending on your point of view and how closely you watch.
They did put those hints you are talking about, but maybe they should have added more or more explicit hints for people who don't watch as closely?
I truly loved every time Lee Jun stomped or slapped Haram though. :)
