Whoever wrote the Pat character didn't think to make him likeable or sympathetic
I think he's likable enough, but I do feel that there is a definite lack of background. If they added some more background he could become more (or less) of a character that we could sympathize with. Maybe it will get added later... Most of my issues with this show (and I ignore them mostly because I've seen so many of them that were worse), really boils down to the writing.
Who would let someone who is struggling with PowerPoint slides 101 lead a project? Jeng. That's his weakness.…
I agree, but sometimes(often) in real life you don't make rational decisions when emotions are involved. But yes, he's being VERY dumb given that he's trying to 'save' this department.
OK. I think this show is getting way too much hate for something that most of you aren't even paying for. (If you are watching from a subscription service like me then ignore that).
Is it perfect....absolutely not. Is it watchable... yes.
There are some issues of consistency with the writing/direction of certain characters and the acting isn't perfect. But, most of these BL shows are low budget and they use cheaper actors who have either never acted before or have only done a little bit of work.
I see several of you bashing this guy Ben that plays 'Pat', but if you look at his history, he hasn't had any actual roles before. It shows a couple of credits for what look like variety shows as a 'guest' a few years ago and then this show. Given that situation I think he's doing 'OK'. It's only the 4th episode so far, so hopefully he keeps improving.
Yes...it's an office romance not university so that age gap is understandable. It does seem like it is a very cute show (even though I've only seen the 2 first episodes so far).
Plz can we hv a season 2 ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผโค๏ธ
It would be nice, but I doubt it for a couple of reasons....
Park Seo Ham who played Jang Jae Young went to do his mandatory military service and Park Jae Chan who played Chu Sang Woo said he wanted to focus more on his music (although that was right after it aired originally early last year, now it shows him taking another acting role this year).
Yes, the hate it was getting is really weird. It's like they decided they didn't like it based on someone else's…
Yeah, I think that it is that person's personal issue. The actors playing Burger and King may be a bit too young for me but they are still above the age of consent in Thailand. And the ones that did the sex scenes are all over 19. So I feel that a 'pedo' reference was not warranted at all, but it's their opinion...everyone has one...just like they have something else....
I avoided this show because of all the reviews mentioning minors and it being too sexual. A friend of mine told…
Yes, I think those reviews were posted by people who didn't actually watch the entire series, they seem to have focused on one part and simply assumed the entire series was about that.
Not sure why people rated it so low. Compared to other top rated BLs with same old cringy storylines, this is…

Yeah, it wasn't the greatest, but it was watchable. Lot of people giving it hate for some reason (their own personal hangups I'm guessing). The translation was bad.....but it was still OK. I would watch a second season, I'd like to see how BurgerKing ends up.
Only technically. There are other laws that effectively make it 18, especially if someone contests it. And why…
Yeah, when I saw that I was like WTF? The only thing I could think of was that they did that for the international audience.... Since as you say about age of consent is true to the best of my knowledge when I got curious about Thailand and researched it on the web. (https://www.ageofconsent.net/world/thailand) I think that compoundable offense means if they used force or coercion (but correct me if I'm wrong).
Too many people try to force their idea of morality on other cultures.
Personally, I get nervous with anyone who says they are 18 (or 17 which is the age of consent where I live) because in my experience they often lie about their age and I have no interest in risking criminal charges regardless of whether I could prove I was lied to or not.
Maybe it will get added later...

Or just emailing them?

Given that, it was entertaining enough.
I preferred the Buger-King storyline though.
