Title I Don't Love You Yet Spoiler
Hi Transition, just saw this question of yours. Yeah, I have not seen that scene on the original. The one with…
Oh, I remember that scene now when you mention it. It sounds possible.

Yes, this drama is a remake of "In Time With You". As for the scenes and lines, of what I remember from the original…
I'm glad you are liking it so far. I like the leading actor and actress too. I have seen Rika before in Pretty Proofreader with Ishihara Satomi but this is the first time I'm watching something with Shirasu Jin. He is indeed good-looking, especially when he smiles.

Yes, this drama is a remake of "In Time With You". As for the scenes and lines, of what I remember from the original and also by watching comparison clips I would say that they are about 70-80 % similar. I think you should give this drama a try if you liked the original version :)

Yes to all your questions and you just proved why I didnt enjoy the Korean version. It removed so many things.…
Oh, so you have mentioned me in your other post? Sorry for not replying you, I didn't notice that since I didn't get any notification.

Yes, Da Ren/Ren shouldn't have said that during highschool because it did make her doubt if it is true that he has liked her all along when she heard that from Maggie/Maki later on.

Yes, I think it will be the same here as well. Ryusei will cheat on Yo with the secretary. I remember how I wanted to punch Ding Li Wei/Ryusei when he tried to explain to You Qing/Yo that it was a misunderstanding that she was just lending the shower because she was all soaked from the rain. As if anyone would believe him with that lie?

You are welcome! I look forward to reading your comments and thoughts too. It has been fun discussing the storyline and characters with you :)

I agree with you. Although I like Yo/Rika but Yo has indeed brought this upon herself. So yes, stupid Yo. :p Maki already told her Ren's feelings for her and her junior at her job also helped her decipher her own feelings, that the reason she feels uneasy and afraid after knowing Ren's feelings for her is because she likes him too. She also got to know that Ren gave up his first choice in university so he could attend the same university as her. The way she misses him and imagine seeing him everywhere also indicates that she likes him. So why is she still dwelling on what he said when he was a teenager that it isn't possible for him to love her? Why is it too late for her to end her relationship with Ryusei? They aren't even married yet. Although it might hurt him but it is better to end it sooner than after a few years when she realizes he isn't the right one for her (although we who have seen the original version know that Ryusei/Li Wei isn't someone worth being sorry for).

It is okay :) I didn't know how to tag you so I understood that you didn't get any notification. I wonder which scene they will substitute that for too and also what the scene will be about. Before watching episode 13 and 14 I thought it would be before Yo listens to Ren's song but with how things are going this scene will most likely be after she has listened to the song. Perhaps after her long vacation/trip?

Yes, the Japanese version added some elements of theirs in this drama too but they still kept the important events and things between the leads.

Title I Don't Love You Yet Spoiler
My thoughts about episode 13 and 14:

- Although I like Ren and Yo I actually agreed with Maki when she "scolded" Yo for her indecisiveness and fakeness (using the term "best friend" but they are actually more than that while blaming their partners for being narrow-minded when they get jealous)
- I thought it was sad when Yo came to say goodbye to Ren but chose to hide from him.
- I felt the pain for Ren and Yo when they were clearly missing each other but had to suppress their feelings and not call each other so they could get rid of this habit of always talking to each other.
- The parts when Yo sent voice mails to Ren's old phonenumber whenever she wanted to talk to him was sad too.
- I thought Yo looked extra lonely in the scene when she went to the bar they always go to and she forgot her wallet again and wanted to cancel her order but the bartender said "her boyfriend" (Ren) had already predicted this so he has therefore given some money to him before he went to Shanghai.

Yes, I don't like this Ryusei guy either but if he and the ex-girlfriend Maki are catalysts to Ren and Yo's relationship…
I think it will be hard too to squeeze 10 kissing scenes between Ren and Yo in the last episode but in the original version I think they actually managed to come close to that number. However, an episode in Taiwan is much longer than an episode in Japan. So let's see how it will go. I'm glad too if we get an whole episode with only sweet moments of Ren and Yo together.

Title I Don't Love You Yet Spoiler
While waiting for the new episodes to release I was looking around for interviews or clips of the cast but couldn't find much, unfortunately.

However, I found some trailers/short music videos of the drama. [NOTE: Spoilers ahead]

Trailer
1:35 Yo going to Shanghai to find Ren?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZleJGBbF97o

Another clip
2:00 Here's the part where Yo listens to Ren's song (his confession to her). Aw, anyone else think Rika is doing a really good job with the crying scenes?
2:35 Hm, I don't recall that this scene was in the original version? It looks like Yo is holding on a sunflower and crying? The place should be at Ren's apartment in Shanghai?
@pinkvanilla  Do you know if the scene was in the original version?

Yes, I felt sorry for Ren too. The sadness, frustration and disappointment were conveyed well by Jin (the actor…
I think a lot of people (including me) feel the same way, that Yo is having things " a lot easier" than Ren. When the original version aired I remember how a lot of people said that she must have done a lot of good deeds in her previous lives to be able to meet such a good guy as Da Ren/Ren.

It's my first time to cry over a drama OUT OF FRUSTRATION! Really, I love both personalities, Ren and Yo but how…
I understand how you feel. I get frustrated watching it too because we all like Yo and Ren and to us it is obvious that they like each other but due to wrong timing and missed chances they are going around in circles. The English name of the original version "In Time With You" is really suitable for the drama. However, I believe I have become less frustrated with this version because I already know the story and how it will end. And compared to the previous version I watched (the Korean version) this one is already more fast-paced and it follows the original closely so I have therefore more patience with it.

... spoiler ep 11 .. but that scene at the restaurant when she told ren that she was back with that do^/#bag was…
Yes, I felt sorry for Ren too. The sadness, frustration and disappointment were conveyed well by Jin (the actor who plays Ren). The whole dinner was awful. As I thought when I watched the original version I don't know what Yo/You Qing was thinking there. Another sad scene was when Yo's family arranged a farewell party for Ren and asked him what kind of girl he likes and what kind of life he yearned for and he was having flashbacks of him and Yo eating Takoyaki and having seaweeds stuck on their teeth. It seemed like he was on the verge of crying.

It is okay. I'm not planning to watch the Mainland version because Mainland dramas tend to be very long with too many supporting characters. That's why I like this version. They are keeping the focus on the leads. I'd like them to have one more episode as a couple too. I didn't like how You Qing had more kissing scenes with Ding Li Wei than Da Ren.

@Transition, yes, on the Taiwanese version, Da Ren said to You Qing that he wants to take responsibility of her…
Oh, my memory fails me again. I thought You Qing went to Li Wei's place to tell him that she couldn't marry him right now because she has to sort out her feelings first (after just getting to know that Da Ren loves her). So she was going to break up with him anyway, no matter what? Okay, that makes the ending more satisfying :) Thank you for the clarification! I liked Satomi and Yamapi as a couple in "From 5 to 9". Hope you will enjoy it.
