I started great, but became pretty stale and cliché.IMO, it was too long. This should've been an 18 ep drama…
I so agree! The villains didn't get what they deserved at the end. Even Ling Sheng in jail gets sympathy from Xiner. I really hated the scenes with Ling Sheng & Xiner and it seemed like they had more screen time than the main couple at times. They were just a pathetic couple with each being so obsessive (Xiner with Ling Yue & Ling Sheng with Xiner). And how can you forgive the 2 people that wanted you DEAD! I don't care that they are "family"...that doesn't mean you automatically forgive them. And I hate when the "older" characters fall ill whenever they hear something traumatic (Ex: Ling Yue's dad and Anxin's stepmom). How convenient was this. The stepmom needs to be in shackles in prison! She's just plain evil! She smiled to Anxin's face but was plotting her demise and all because she knew Anxin was really the biological daughter of the idiot husband. And how convenient for him to have a brain tumor at the end and developed alzheimers. So we don't even get to see him being remorseful in treating Anxin the way he did because he thought her mom cheated on him. Stupid idiot! If he was smart at all, he would have asked for another paternity test to make sure. But I'm sure his conniving wife would have intercepted that result too. And Anxin & Ling Yue are way too forgiving to the people that wanted them dead or hurt them in the past. Yu Guo was pathetic with her hatred and we find out how wrong she was and how she was manipulated by the evil stepmom. Even the guy that carried out all the evil acts ordered by Ling Shen was given a second chance once he does his punishment. What's with that? He tried to KILL people! And how does Ling Shen still thinks he has the majority of the company when he forced Ling Yue to sign the contract? Isn't that against the law: forced signature from coercion? Doesn't that become null & void? And why would you need to get the votes from the shareholders when Ling Shen's crimes were revealed? How did they think he still had control of the company? He should have been handcuffed right there & then instead of the silly scene we had with their dad getting up from his wheelchair and imploring the shareholders to vote against Ling Sheng? I mean...what the hell was that all about?!!! Ling Sheng forfeited any rights to the company when he tried to kill Ling Yue & Anxin for it! I was like WTF?!!!! And Anxin forgave Xiner way too easy. She was a bitch to her throughout the drama and tried to steal her man. Xiner's just a crazy b*tch!

Ok...the 1st 2 eps are already cringeworthy with the usual basic tropes for these types of dramas. The female lead is this bubbly character who overcomes adversity by faking cheerfulness. The male lead is this cold hard character who constantly crosses paths with the female lead. Honestly, sometimes I can't differentiate between Fair Xing and Shen Yue because they always play the same type of character. Fair Xing plays overly positive Xiao Ning who lost both her parents in a car accident (not really an accident since the truck that hit them did it deliberately. Again she comes across like a pushover who's always bowing to everyone and then mindlessly walks backwards in her clumsy way and of course it sets up creating disasters along the way. I cringed every time she did this because it's so dumb and I'm just sick & tired of these dramas that make the female leads look like silly, spacey dimwits who are constantly falling. Can we watch a drama where the female lead doesn't trip or fall? And why do they dress characters that Fair Xing and Shen Yue play like that? I understand they want to make them maintain their cuteness but they just come across as sloppy. Then they dress Xiao Ning in a nice suit but keep her hair looking as unsophisticated as possible. And this is still all within the 2 eps I have watched. I'm still debating whether or not I want to continue watching this drama.

How about also stopping the tiresome trope of clumsily tripping and falling into your main lead's lips. Especially…
Triad Princess is like a silly romp but if you continue watching it, it got more interesting. The female is kick ass - It's up to you...it's a short drama anyway. I was bummed because it kind of ended with a cliff hanger and I don't know if they will do a Season 2.

I watched Here to Hart and the female lead drove me nuts with her constant self-sacrificing personality. She was such a depressing figure with her long-suffering and solemn attitude. I know she thought she was responsible for what happened to her father & the ML's father but she carried it around like an albatross around her neck. The ML's mom was infuriating too. I had to fast forward a lot of eps just to get to the ending. There were too many misunderstandings, secrets, obsessive second leads, etc. I think I tossed my remote after I finished watching it. I was sooooo aggravated.....glad they had their HEA but it could have happened so much sooner had the main couple communicated with each other like mature adults.

How much screaming/screeching does the FL do? And does it persist beyond 1 or 2 episodes?
When he turned into a gumiho to prove who he was and she screamed....that was hilarious! She's only screaming because of the unknown being in a strange house and not knowing whether Shin Woo Yeo is a good guy or bad. But as she starts to get to know him, she calms down.

Title My Roommate Is a Gumiho Spoiler
I am having so much fun with this drama! It has moments leaving me laughing so hard. Lee Hye Ri as Lee Dam is hilarious. Her physical comedy to stay away from tiger sign people is so funny especially when next to Sun Woo. She made me laugh so hard when she started rolling away from him on the floor to get away from him. She's adorable. And her cuteness complements the serious Shin Woo Yeo who has been alone most of his 999 yrs. So far I know there's a sinister figure lurking in the background who is killing women; Sun Woo initially was pursuing Lee Dam for a bet but is now falling for her...probably because she's not falling at his heels like most women so she has become an enigma to him; and Shin Woo Yeo who is trying to achieve human form except the important item (marble) was ingested by Lee Dam by accident. I keep wondering if she's a reincarnation of his only love during the Joseon period when she was killed. Kang Han Na as Yang Hye Sun plays a gumiho that has successfully become a human and she never lets Shin Woo Yeo hear the end of it. She flaunts it in his face but then sounds clueless when Shin Woo Yeo throws out idioms or words that she is unfamiliar with and then it takes her down a peg from her bragging. Their interactions are funny too. I'm only on ep 5 and am sad that I have to wait for more eps to load. I binged watched the 1st 5 eps and had such an enjoyable time with it. It's one of those dramas where it's such a pleasure to watch and you can't wait for the next episode and you leave with such a happy silly feeling after watching it.

OMG...that's a hard one. Most of the strong females still need the male leads to rescue them. Did you ever see "Love and Redemption"? It was a great Chinese drama (for me) and the female lead was a powerful character. How about "The Romance of Tiger & Rose?" I think Eternal Love with Yangmi (Ten miles of Peach Blossom) also but she was mostly strong when the female lead was in her goddess mode). I also liked Legend of Fuyao (also with Yangmi) - the female lead was a strong fighter but she did also have the male lead come to her rescue on occasions. Did you ever watch Triad Princess on Netflix? The female lead is kickass and it's a very short drama.

Title Miss the Dragon Spoiler
I actually liked the ending. Maybe it's just me. Finished watching it few days back. And it wasn't a perfect drama,…
I honestly think the Minister of Fate was in love with the Dragon King. Towards the end he told the Dragon King that the Dragon King didn't appreciate all the things he did for the Dragon King and that he had to go and fall in love with Liuying. The Minister of Fate looked so jealous and irate at the Dragon King. And he also told Yuchi that he could rule the 3 realms with him if he gave up Liuying. So I think all the things he did was in retaliation and spitefulness over the Dragon King not preferring him over Liuying.

Title Miss the Dragon Spoiler
So...I finished the drama and let me say, even though they are technically still together in the skynet, I totally hated the ending! After all they went through; after all the suffering from the Dragon King having to watch his beloved through so many incarnations, the best they could do for them was to have their souls kept in the skynet? WTF?!!!!!!!!! And what's with the supreme leader? Does he hate when people are in love? He messed up the lives of XQX & QQ because they were in love and then he has no compassion for the great love between Luchi & Liuying. What about the Minister of Fate? How does the Supreme leader allow the Minister of Fate to do the evil things he did and not intervene when he tried to take over the world? Such bullcrap! I was happy for XQX & QQ because they waited a long time in their punishment to renew their love. So what I gather is that they could reverse their punishment by both sacrificing their lives for each other and then to kiss to reverse the curse. And it only took 3,000 yrs! And now the Supreme leader goes and messes up another couple in love with Yuchi & Liuying. I loved the fact that Qingyan (in her last incarnation) foiled the Minister of Fate's quest to achieve ultimate power by giving her Yin soul to the Dragon King. I hated the fact that XQX and Dragon King fought at the end due to the Minister of Fate's mind control. I loved that the Dragon King destroyed the Minister of Fate when the Dragon King absorbed the Yin soul and became super powerful and that also returned XQX back to normal. I loved how XQX was trying to tell QQ that he had captured and saved the main couple's souls in the net so they will always be together but QQ was too busy talking over him to listen to what XQX was trying to tell her. But the main thing I hated was not seeing the Dragon King & Qingyan actually together in their human bodies together...instead we only see her riding on the dragon at the end. I read there was an extension to ep. 36 so I have to go and check out what it showed. I hope it was better than how this episode ended for me. All in all, I didn't hate this drama. I was really rooting for the main & second couple. I thought that Dylan Wang & Bambi Zhu were good in their roles even though a lot of people criticized Dylan Wang for his stone like appearance. I really think it was just how they thought the Dragon King should be in human form. He showed a lot more expressions and humor when he was interacting with XQX and especially when he, XQX & QQ were together. I still liked him whether he had expressions or not - I think he did a good job in conveying the long suffering he went through, how protective he was of Liuying and the anger in being denied again his love. I actually liked Bambi here too since I hated her in Eternal Love. She did a good job in all her incarnations and retained the wide eyed innocent view of the world and the love she always felt for the Dragon King. That's just my opinion and I did enjoy watching this.

When will China stop making 'cute girl in a weird-looking jumpsuit and asymmetrical ponytail dramas'? I am so…
How about also stopping the tiresome trope of clumsily tripping and falling into your main lead's lips. Especially that stupid escalator scene where she trips and falls into the main lead's lips and they stayed that way all the way down! I was like "WTF? Who lands like that and stays that way all the way down?!!!" I hate her silly hairdo too and her ill-fitting clothes. And I'm also tired of the female leads being such pushovers and not being able to say no to stupid people like that Mark dude! And then that just sets it up for the male lead to "rescue" her...ugh!!! She already knew that Mark was using her and talking bad about her behind her back and also even paying her less than she deserved on the jobs he got her - but does she say an adamant no when he tried to get her for another job while she's in the middle of a cleaning job???!!! Nope...she says no weakly but not really asserting herself. For a person that is so fierce when it comes to knocking sense into her younger brother, she is way too weak when it comes to others taking advantage of her. Oh well...I'm still in the middle of watching this but I hope her character gets better.

Title Sell Your Haunted House Spoiler
I just finished watching this over the weekend. I hated the fact that the main villain was able to come back as a vengeful spirit and possess In Beom....but I knew that would happen when he died...but it still sucked. And the last 2 eps, I really expected Ji Ah's mom to come to her aid when she was fighting Do Hak but was disappointed when she didn't show up. Oh In Beom was such an understanding supportive medium to Ji Ah's exorcist. She really tried so hard to push him away but he always came back to help her. I think I was really also expecting the main leads to be romantic but there was none. I think with Ji Ah's personality, she was so used to being on her own and dealing with her mom issue and the vengeful ghosts, she had such a hard shell and it took so long for In Beom to break through to her. So I guess it would need a Season 2 to form any romantic feelings for the couple. Secretary Hwa Jung's back story was heartbreaking and there was a moment during the drama where they made you think she was not exactly a good person to Ji Ah. But it just turned out that she was carrying out her promise to Ji Ah's mom and protected Ji Ah after Ji Ah's mom died. She essentially became Ji Ah's second mom. In Beom's bestie, Ji Cheol provided the technical smarts and the comedic relief...he was adorable. I loved the relationship between the 4 main characters and at the end, they really became Daebak Realty group. The biggest character development was the gangster Kim Tae Jin who started out a bad guy minion working for Do Hak Sung but eventually turned himself around and became a devoted "second" son to the restaurant lady. The farewell between Ji Ah and her mom made me cry. Jang Na Ra as Ji Ah was amazing. She conveyed all the heartache & regrets for the way her mom died and their last meeting was so emotional. I also loved the fact that Ji Ah's mom appeared to Hwa Jung to thank her for all she did for Ji Ah.....that was indeed closure. All in all I loved this drama and can see them having a Season 2 because I wasn't satisfied with the ending...I wanted more! ;)

Huh? Those essential skills (as per your description) are exactly Xiao Jinyu's traits.
And Jinyu also has his guardsman to protect him. So he's surrounded by fighters which leaves him to concentrate on solving the cases! And when he is in danger, Jinyu seems to be able to fend for himself by avoiding getting hit while his people fight around him ;)

Title Move to Heaven Spoiler
OMG! I can't believe this drama only has 10 eps! After I saw the last ep, I was like "WHAT?!!!"....there has to be more! I need more! The stories in here aren't finished. What's going to happen to Sang Gu and his story and will the fight lady boss get back at him. Did Sang Gu retain the property title? What about the ending with Geu Ru meeting that girl? So many unanswered questions which leads me to believe that there will be a Season 2...and just like when I saw Sweet Home...there better be a Season 2!! I have to say that I love the actor that played Geu Ru. I can't believe he's only 17 yrs old. He was amazing as Geu Ru portraying a person with Asberger's and trying to steer through the world especially without his father as his rock. I've only seen Lee Je Hoon in a couple of eps of Taxi Driver but he was also amazing in this drama as a bitter man who thought his beloved older brother abandoned him. Little did he know what really happened to prevent his brother (Han Jun) from meeting him at their designated place. And because he felt he was abandoned, this set Sang Gu up to being the cynical bitter man he is today....until the revelation. I loved Na Mu who always had Geu Ru's back and simply was the best friend for him. And even though Geu Ru's dad died early on, you could still see his presence in the memories and flashbacks of Geu Ru. If you think saint, Geu Ru's dad will come to mind. The actor who played Han Jun was amazing too! This was such a terrific drama that will evoke so many emotions in you. The revelations are happy and truly sad at the same time. I felt that the theme was abandonment and how things can turn out good or bad depending on what fate brings you. All in all, I really need a Season 2 and hope Netflix has it on order or I will be pissed!

Same thoughts! I am also rooting for the main couple. Seeing the comments, I think it's just us, or some more…
I bet it's hard for Dylan Wang & Bambi Zhu to see the second couple get more of the attention in this drama than them. The breakout star has got to be Deng Wei. They paired him so well with Pan Mei Ye and I can't wait to see him in more dramas. I've only seen Dylan Wang in Meteor Gardens and really loved him in that. I tried watching Ever Night 2 but couldn't really get into that story. So this is the 2nd drama I've seen by him. I was really rooting for him in this drama. Even though it's not the best story, I'm still enjoying it and wanting to see what the outcome will be for both couples! :)
