Did Zhang Ruo Yun get plastic surgery? Jaw surgery ?? his jaw is so defined like sharp blade and it seemed unnatural…
I think it's because he lost weight and the fat around his face...he looks great!

Why did they change the character of ying burn
I think Xiao Zhan is too big of a star to be a supporting role in this drama. When he was in Joy of Life Season 1, he wasn't as big then. I like the actor who replaced him though...he's just as good looking and I like his attitude in this role...it's like "Ok...I'll tolerate Fan Xian and give him help when he needs it". I feel he is constantly rolling up his eyes at FX's antics but in a good way.

Title Scent of Time Spoiler
Just started it while I’m waiting for all the episodes for The Double.Worried about 2FL’s intentions.
Mu Yao's intentions were to avenge the deaths of her parents and clan due to the manipulations and schemes from Hua Qian and her father. In the "do-over" for Hua Qian, Mu Yao was obsessed with her revenge and did not believe Hua Qian"s supposedly redemption. Her rage towards Qian was so intense that it locked her into this tunnel vision like state. Only towards the ending, when she realized she was getting out of control, then she pulled back her focus on the revenge (this was pertaining to the "do-over" second chance part though).

Title Scent of Time Spoiler
So I was so thoroughly invested in this drama that I paused my "Joy of Life 2" to binge watch this for the whole weekend. I don't know why I thought that it was a costume period piece that was time traveled from modern times. I kept thinking she was going to wake up from a 2 yr coma in a hospital bed in the present. Anyway, the take I got from this is that you can't really redeem yourself...only in your mind. Hua Qian was actually the villain in this drama - having caused so much destruction and pain from her selfishness and obsession with her love interest. Because of this, in order to cope with what she did in real life, her brain let her think she could do a "do-over" and allow her to rectify all the damage that she had caused. So what we see is how she went about correcting everything she did to prevent the tragedy. And every now and then, she would mysteriously smell scents which other people around her didn't. The only one who did smell anything was her bodyguard, which we know at the end, was a new character that her mind made up that loved her for who she was and was forever loyal and devoted to her. And when she did wake up temporarily from her coma, she was informed by Mu Yao that nothing had changed and the calamities Hua Qian worked so hard to prevent in her 2nd chance did not happen - resulting in her falling back into a coma to cope with the truth. The end was not satisfying to me but then again, most endings suck in Asian dramas. There's never any confirming endings and this was the same with this drama. We just hear her call Xi Wu's name and pan to a closeup to Xi Wu's face with tears coming down his eyes and a smile forming on his face. So we know that when Hua Qian fell back into her coma, her own mind worked out what had happened and she made the realization that she could no longer hide in her sleeplike state and come out to "face the music" for what she did...probably after she heard encouragement from her previous love/obsession, Yelan, her rival, Mu Yao and the encouraging words of support from the one that really loved her, Lord Xi Wu. Let me tell you - the actor who played the Lord was mesmerizing and so gorgeous. This man can cry like no other. I can't believe the actor who played him, Wang Xing Yue, is only 21 yrs old!!! He looked so much more mature. He's someone I will keep an eye out for his other dramas - he's currently starring in the new drama that dropped, The Double! I can't wait to watch that and I've been hearing a lot of good things about it. For some reason when I look at his eyes, a lot of times it appeared a bit red-rimmed which led me to believe he wears contacts. It's similar to how Xiao Zhan's eyes were in The Untamed. Zhou Ye - what can I say about this lady....another great job she did. I first seen her as a bratty teen in "Word of Honor" and then later in "Back from the Brink" with a more adult role. And what can I say about the other eye candies in the drama - Zhang Yi Jie (Hua Rongzhou) & Peng Chu Yue (Yelan). Hua Rongzhou was that dream man that you want in life who loves you for you and will do anything to protect you. In one scene towards the end when they did the camera revolving moment in a dreamlike state, it showed Hua Qian turning around to see Rongzhou and back to Hua Qian and then to Rongzhou. I really thought that at the last revolving moment, the face of Rongzhou would turn to reveal the face of Xi Wu...that would have been PERFECT....it would have made sense that the one she thought was the perfect guy would turn out to be Xi Wu all along....but it didn't. Argh..... Oh well...we will need to use our own imagination to figure out what the ending meant....since it was open-ended. :(
Also tell me why Li Yun Rui is always playing supporting characters that have unrequited love?!!! I mean come on...give this guy a break already. Give him a love interest which gives him love back!! I feel bad for this guy!

Title A Time Called You Spoiler
Can someone please explain the BL moment before the car crash? Does this mean the original Yeon Jun was gay? And did Si Heon take over Yeon Jun's body when Yeon Jun "died"? It happened so fast with the BL scene that I was in shock and played it back in my mind. Can someone please confirm or let me know what exactly happened? Thanks!

Title Lovely Runner Spoiler
So I finished this last night...finally...I waited a long time for all the eps to have aired before I binged watch. Let me tell you...Im Sol has to be the dumbest time traveler around. I know she is trying hard to change Sung Jae's fate but the way she goes about it is so frenetic and chaotic. At some points she gives the killer the perfect opportunities to accomplish his task. She has the super power to stop time but she never utilizes it when the killer is upon her...how frustrating is that?!!! You would think that she would get more clever with all the chances she gets but all she does is constantly break Sung Jae's heart by either rejecting him or giving him the cold shoulders. And then all her running....why is she always running in a straight line when the killer is chasing her? It's like she just awaits her fate each time she meets the killer...I mean...come on Im Sol..you can STOP time!!! And all the back & forth in jumping time was getting on my nerves. The only steadiness came from Sung Jae...no matter where he was in time, he has eyes only for Im Sol and always fell in love with her. Sometimes I would wonder why with all her craziness. I think she was way better with Kim Tae Sung who was also a sweetheart who fell in love with Im Sol too. There were a lot of unanswered questions: why was the killer so focused on Im Sol (yes I know about Sung Jae ID'ing him and that's why he was out for revenge) - I got so sick and tired of this character...and the way he died was so anti-climactic...at one point I expected him to show up again at the end to cause more trouble for the couple; how did the Grandmother know about the watch?; What happened after the brother & his wife won the lottery...did they share it with the family?; Did the Eclipse band go on to be a success without Sung Jae at the end? Let me tell you...Byeon Woo Seok was the best thing from this drama! His acting chops were incredible...he was able to display his emotions, whether silly or serious..this man has it all: looks, height, charisma, vocals, etc. He is the real deal! I want to see him more as the main leads in dramas...whether romantic, costume period, action, etc. He really commands the screen! He and Kim Hye Yoon had incredible chemistry which saved this drama from all the messiness of the storyline. I also would love to see a sequel about Kim Tae Sung and see him find his own love. He really deserves a happy ending too! Overall...I really loved this drama minus the aggravation caused by Im Sol trying so desperately to save Sung Jae and some of the stupidity that transpired from her actions. Sometimes I wanted to reach into the screen and slap her for the things she did...and also yell at her to stop time when the killer came around.

I'm still struggling to get through this series. every now and again I start watching it because there isn't anything…
I'm struggling too and have paused and revisited on several occasions...even starting and finishing several other dramas before getting back to this one. I realized that much of the beginning of the drama involves a lot of talking and not much action so you get lulled into a stupor trying to listen to all the intrigue and distrust going on. I think I'm on ep 7 or 8 and I'm hoping the action starts ramping up. It also doesn't help that the female lead walks around with the most somber & depressed look on her face all the time while she's trying to carry out her mission. I get that her life has been tough and she's trying to portray that but it gets pretty depressing because you know the actress doesn't usually play those types of characters. The only thing I'm grateful for is that they don't have her talking in her usual high pitched annoying helium laced tone that turns me off all the time when I watch her dramas. I'll try sticking to watching this and am glad it's only 24 eps. I have to say that the male actors for the characters in this drama are very good looking so that helps...lol...

I'm not sure what you're talking about but they literally had something together in Episode 14. They didn't seem…
Yuan felt so bad with what happened to Xi's Linchuan because of her brother's evil plans to steal the power from the divine tree. She never hesitated in trying to sacrifice herself to bring Xi's people back...not once even though she knew it would result in her death. I had to admit I chuckled at her attempts to kill her brother or when she realized that hurting herself would result in hurting him too. Yuan was amazing in her steadfast actions in trying restoring Linchuan for her beloved Xi.

Exactly! Yuan fell in love with Xi because of how respectful & caring he was after they were married. When she realized what a good person her husband was, it was under the divine tree when she opened herself up to him and they finally made love. Their love story was fraught with hardships, false belief in betrayal and sacrifices. And all during this, they managed to have a child and short spurts of happiness in between.
