I've wrote this so many times here but here we go again😂 In the novel, FDB finds him at the beach but he's…
Oh...sorry you had to repeat this over & over again. I didn't see it. The novel ending seems so much sadder than the drama's....so I'm glad it ended that way then.

I must commend Rain Wang for playing Li Qiao, the powerful, unapologetic bad bish in this drama. I was so sick…
Yes...she definitely played the "woman scorned" part to the "T"!! Her twisted love for Di Fei Sheng and her obsession for him was amazing. She loved and hated him for not loving her back. I think Chinese dramas believe that when you are evil, you automatically wear the colors black & red, so her red eye shadow represented her evilness. Her crazy laugh was grating after awhile though....all bad guys/gals must have their crazy evil laugh too...that's part of their M.O....

I've never been so frustrated with the main lead and yet understood why he did what he did. He had several chances to get the poison out of his body and yet he chose not to. Was this part of his redemption and a way to make up for what he perceived was arrogance on his part when he was the sect leader? I don't know...all I know is that he had people who loved him: Wan Mian as his previous girlfriend who mourned him all those years, Di Fei Shang as his rival who only saw LLH as his equal in martial arts skills and Fang Duo Bing who came to see LLH as his soul companion. Joseph Zeng who portrayed Fang Duo Bing was amazing with his naivete and hero worship of LLH prominently displayed on his puppy dog eyes and facial expressions. He made you feel his anxiousness in trying to save LLH while also feeling anxiety everytime LLH was out of his sight - and he had good reasons - LLH tend to disappear everytime FDB left him. The amount of times LLH deceived him was incredible but we know it was LLH's way of protecting FDB. Xiao Shun Yao who portrays Di Fei Shang was also amazing although he wasn't always in every scene. He first came to my attention playing villain, Liu Song in The Legend of Awakening. I thought he was so good looking and he has the most amazing eyelashes (but I digress...lol). I really want to see him more in a main lead role as the hero. I saw the BTS clip of him fighting with the evil Saintess and he was such a sweetheart. The scene where he was choking her and her telling him how much she loved him was interrupted by sudden tears from the actor. He was moved by the speech! OMG...that was too cute. The person I also felt so sad for was Wan Mian - she loved Li Xiangyi so much and regretted how they parted before he was "killed". As told in flashbacks, he was too wrapped up in the martial world that he forgot about her and made he feel alone - thus her "Dear John" letter to him. She carried him in her heart and mourned for him for those 10 yrs. Only when he finally revealed himself to her did she get closure. I liked that she accepted it and did not nag or whine about it and knew it was time to get on with her life with the jealous ass, Zi Jin - Why is this actor always portraying such douche roles? Zi Jin deserved being dumped at the end by Wan Mian - she deserved way better than him! Even at his lowest inner energy, LLH could have blown Zi Jin away if he wanted to. Anyway, I think LLH just wanted to live out his life doing good for the people he loved. He didn't want to return as a sect leader because for the 10 years he was traveling around under the alias of Li Lian Hua, was his happiest. He was freed from fighting and being responsible for the martial arts world. He wasn't threatened by the next best rival trying to fight him for supremacy and he lived his life with his dog, his lotus tower, farming & fishing. He literally gave up being Li Xiangyi and was reborne as Li Lian Hua. LLH never looked backward, only forward. I felt that in his heart, if he was cured of the poison, he would be dragged back into the martial world. And he felt that since he had been carrying the poison around for 10 years, the Styx flower might restore him to about 30% of what he used to be. So the ending was bittersweet...he got to live whatever was left of his life on his own terms. The end with him looking out into the water and spliced with Fang Duo Bing & Di Fei Shang riding their horses to the water was an open ending as everyone said, so you can draw your own conclusions. Did they find him...or were they in different scenes by the water? I'm sure we wanted them all in the same clip together and reunited to go on more adventures and trying to find a cure for LLH. I choose to believe this. If anyone read the book and know how it ends in the book, please let me know! Is it the same as the drama or different?

Title King the Land Spoiler
Also...why would she open up her own "hotel" at the end which looked more like a bed & breakfast of a cosy inn - that takes a lot of work. And how can Won who just took control of the King Hotel have anytime to even flit back & forth from her hotel when he needs to manage his own hotel. He has great responsibilities now especially since his plan was to expand outside of Korea. I would think this arrangement would mean they would have less time to see each other. It made more sense for her to work for King Hotel in a different capacity than a concierge. She would have Won by her side to make the changes that she wants at the King hotel. I understand she didn't want to be under the thumb of Chairman Gu. But it would have made more sense for her to work side by side with Won..... but that's just me.

I just finished this drama last night with lots of starts and stops and I have to agree with the ratings. This was a super sugary fluff of a romance story but the sweetness was starting to grate on me. It started off good but half way in this drama, it started to get bogged down by the sugary sweetness and it became somewhat boring. I had to fast forward most of the eps to get to the end - the fillers were boring. Let me tell you - the main thing that detracted from this drama was the constant blatant product placements. I remember other dramas that did this and it made the drama a joke - one that comes to mind was Dilraba's Love Designer. Don't the production team know how ridiculous it makes the drama when their product placements are so glaring in the scenes. Do they think this will get me to buy their products? It just cheapens the drama and makes it like an extended commercial. I really like Lee Jun Ho but this drama was just a fluff drama compared to his other works. Yoonha basically smiled and was sweet throughout this drama. Won's sidekick assistance really got on my nerves - I know he's like the comic relief but it just became obnoxious. I liked her relationship with her besties but at some point I was wondering how her married bestie had so much time to hang out with them with her work and family to take care of. I liked how she turned from a doormat into the one in control later on. The villains didn't get what they deserved. Won's half sister was extremely malicious and spiteful. I don't care about her backstory feeling jealousy towards her half brother. That didn't make me sympathetic to how she turned out as an adult. She was just pure jealously and hate. Not once did she show any compassion or love towards Won and at one point told him point blank that she didn't think of him as family. I felt she didn't redeem herself at the end. I have no idea why her son loved her so much since she had no qualms about sending him away during his formutive years. Only at the end did she show any kind of love for him by keeping him with her - but it still didn't redeem her character and the way she treated Won. Most of their confrontations were with her leaving with the final word of threats or insults. I really hated her character. Also, I couldn't get over the fact that she looked so much older than Won. I mean she looked like she was around the same age as her father. It never said what happened to her mom too unless I missed it. Actually...the only thing they did achieve was showing what a pathetic figure she was when she chose her career over her husband and son. It's a shame that a woman can't achieve success in her career without having to give up her personal life....this shows that work is still male dominated and you have to be a cold bit*h to make it in this world. Another one that didn't get her comeuppance was the bit*h that was made purser over Oh Pyung Hwa. She and the one that gave her the purser position over Hwa needed to be booted off the airline. Unless I missed this, these two deserved to be fired. At least her other bestie that worked in that high end store got her revenge on her boss. All in all I would give this drama a C+. I was left feeling nothing for this drama...just annoyance that I stuck through it. I agree with another commenter - the mystery with Won's mother was anticlimactic. And it annoyed me that during the wedding when his father & mom was sitting together, the father asked if the mom would like to have tea with him after the wedding. I was like WTF? You chose your company over her and now you think having tea with her to chat will make it all better? They never said much about Won's mom after she left - did she get married? Have any kids? It felt like she just basically disappeared and did nothing with her life except wait for Won to be an adult. It was said that she started a Union to fight for rights while she was at the hotel - did she continue her Union work? That would have been interesting but they just glossed over her character after the reunion with her son. Oh well...If you want to watch a super fluffy romance, then this is the one for you. But this fluff left me with an unpleasant sweet stickiness in my mouth....ok...end of my rant.

Is it just me, or does Im Yoon Ah remind me of Krystal Jung? So far this drama has been very amusing - it has its cliche tropes like falling and tripping but I love Lee Jun Ho's chemistry with Im Yoon Ah so far and it's been keeping me interested & entertained. I've been binge-watching up to ep 7 so far. His half sister seems so cold and harsh especially when Won was a little boy. Does she redeem herself or is she just a 100% witch? She's so anti-Won simply because she sees him as a threat to her inheriting the hotel empire - it's pathetic. I can't wait to find out the mystery behind Won's mom. So far I'm loving this drama!

OMG...I looked so forward to seeing this one but struggled so much to finish this one. I liked Season 1 so much better because it was fresh and new but this Season 2 was just a recycled version and it had so many fillers, cringe and tropes. I kept pausing and putting it on hold and it took me forever to finally finish it. I hated the same theme with the evil stepmother and annoying uncle in the 1st half of the drama. I mean really lady...your son doesn't want anything to do with the business but you keep meddling in his business in order to put your own son in the President's position. It was just so annoying. And then the 2nd half of the drama, she becomes somewhat nice especially when she finds out her son's talent can bring in the $$$. I just think 30 episodes was way too long for a recycled drama with nothing really new to add to it. I had expected the leader of her planet to come to Earth to cause trouble for her once she decided to stay but that didn't happen - it's like they just completely forgot about that part. And how does an AI have children? It was a sappy saccharine ending but I'm happy I made it to the end. I was a little disappointed with this draggy Season 2 - to me, it lost it's freshness (my opinion).

This is really good but so confusing with so many characters omg !! I keep forgetting who is who.
I had to keep referring to the cast list on here. I did recognize some familiar faces of the cast in other dramas I seen.

In novel Qainluo's role was more important and Xaio se also showed much interest in her
That’s good but since I didn’t read the novel, I just based it on what I seen on the drama and I guess they minimized her role there. Do you know if there were continuations of their travels in a second book for a possible 2nd season?

Title The Blood of Youth Spoiler
I was sucked into this fantastical wuxia from the get-go, pausing the other dramas I was watching at the time. I loved all the crazy sword gods & martial arts experts and their various expertise in their martial arts (I love that kind of genre when done right and not being cheesy). I love the comaraderie between Xiao Se, Wu Jie & Tang Lian and then joined by Qian Luo & Ye Ruo Yi. They are a group of friends that I want to be with...always supportive and loyal. Xiao Se's back story was fascinating and we all knew it would eventually come full circle with him returning to Tianqi to seek revenge for his beloved uncle. I was glued to the tv for every episode to the very end (but the last several eps did drag on a bit but it was still enjoyable). Let me just say - most of these dramas with the royal family and their battle for the emperor's chair - the villains never get there just desserts. Lord Chi was the most despicable, jealous, non-redemptive character that ever lived. Even to the end he didn't repent and took the easy way out. I really was disgusted with Consort Xuan who totally enabled this monster of a son that she had. She sacrificed her whole happiness for this piece of work and even after finding out all the horrendous things he did, she was still enabling him. I'm sorry but she was 100% pathetic - how she had 3 men in love with her made me shake my head. The head eunuch didn't get what he deserved too until the end but we didn't get to see what was to happen with him. I don't get it - the Emperor condemned his beloved brother for treason and put him to death yet his eunuch who did the same was given a pass and confined to his living area because "he was his study childhood friend". WTF? And they wasted Wuxin's character having him as a puppet for the last half of the drama which dragged on. Wuxin should have been the most powerful ally for Xiao Se except they kept him tied up as a zombie. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!! Wasted utilization of a great character and talent from the actor who I really like. I loved how a lot of the supposed bad characters weren't exactly evil and when their morality came to question, they did the right thing. And why did they give us 2 heartbreak romantic couples? I was heartbroken for Hanyi with YuZhen and Tang Lian with Lady Rui. Did anyone else think that Tang Lian didn't really die? I was hoping they lied about his death and that he would reveal himself towards the end during his friends battle....but.... :'( Another big mistake for this drama was trying to pair Qian Luo with Xiao Se. They had no attraction at all - more like a big brother to a little sister impression for me. There was no point in the drama where I noticed any interest that Xiao Se was having for Qian Luo....more like annoyance whenever she showed up. It was more like Qian Luo being enamored of XiaoSe than he to her. I have to give it to her though - she was very persistent with pursuing him. I would have preferred Qian Luo with Wu Jie and Xiao Se with Ye Ruo Yi. Xiao Se and Ruo Yi were the perfect couple - they spent more time together and strategizing. Yes, I know they were childhood besties so of course she understood him more than anyone but they were so good together - I loved the scenes with both of them because it was so natural and appealing. And it seems most of the people in the drama shipped them as a couple too. I even liked Ruo Yi with WuJie. Ruo Yi is a very reliable, supportive, loyal & calming character. I did like Qian Luo's fierceness and loyalty and she did always back up Xiao Se but I only see her as a great friend for Xiao Se. The most hilarious scene was when Ming Xuan confessed his romantic love for his master! The looks and gasps around him were too funny. I really loved how it ended with the 4 of them walking away. I'm hoping they will have a 2nd season? With more adventures and meeting back up with Wuxin? That would be awesome!

OMG...I wanted her dead from the moment I saw her and her nastiness! I can't believe she lasts up to ep 38! WTF?!!!! And does she get what she deserves? Because it seems most villains don't get what they deserve for all the evilness they do! Tell me she dies a horrible excruciating death!!!

I didn’t finish Love and Redemption because I couldn’t handle how much suffering the male lead went through.…
Yu Si Feng in L&R really suffered due to so much misunderstandings between him Xuan Ji - first being the fact that Xuan Ji was deprived of her six senses so she doesn't understand certain things like normal people do like emotions. Si Feng also failed to let her know things to "protect" her which I hate because this is how misunderstandings occur between the couple. But if you can get over the misunderstanding parts and the incredible amount of blood spat out by Si Feng, it was one of the best Chinese dramas I have seen. Chen Yi & Yuan Bing Yang were so good in portraying the couple. I feel like so many of these dramas are borne out of misunderstandings and if the couples would just learn to communicate better, then most of these issues wouldn't be an issue. I had paused this drama at ep 2 because I wasn't really digging Yan Dan's character - I thought she was going to be an incredible pushover. But I listened to another commenter and they advised me to skip to later eps which I did - I skipped to ep 7 and began watching from there. Then I started binge-watching and will continue tonight. I wasn't going to quit anyway after I paused but skipping gave me more of a boost to continue watching it so if you want to continue, you may want to skip eps too.

I'll try to explain the overall situation to you: - Your first sentence about " it was up to him whether or not…
Thanks for that summary! That was too funny about YM's bangs! I agree though..it feels out of place in his overall face....like they had it to try to make him look younger. I really hated how even when Yin Deng being exposed for the evil person she is, she always seem to get the last word which lingers to alter the way of thinking in the person she is talking to. I feel that Ying Yuan could have given Yan Dan a heads up about what he was planning to do instead of letting her think he never cared about her and the love she felt that they had for each other was all false. And I would love to know about the Heavenly emperor and his logic. Is it because he fell in love? Is he the father of Ying Yuan??? I don't mind spoilers!!!

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 1 Spoiler
She manipulated by Yin Deng.
She was totally manipulated & influenced by that evil Yin Deng. But no matter what, if she didn't feel hostility towards her twin to begin with, she would not have let this evil witch whisper in her ears about Yan Dan. Yin Deng knew exactly what to say to trigger Zhi Xi - she was also scared of Yin Deng so she would always acquiesce to whatever malicious scheming lies that was told to her by Yin Deng. She let her resentment towards Yan Dan build and fester which led to her betrayal of Yan Dan. Hopefully she will redeem herself. Sometimes I watch the drama with the viewer's comments on Viki and majority despise Zhi Xi and say that even if she redeems herself, she is is an unforgivable character.
