Most of these CEO romances are in male dominated settings. If you are a strong female, she's usually the evil witch. The female leads are usually the submissive pushovers - I tend to avoid dramas where the females are super pushovers because that absolutely aggravates me!

Am I the only 1 annoyed by the meal scene in Episode 7 to welcome Mr Ding's new assistant to the team when FL…
Yeah...this was clearly sexual harassment in the workplace but I don't know what the policy is over there. It doesn't help that the manager of the company, He, condones this jerk's behavior and haven't sacked him already. He's the worst kind of boss: harassing the female workers and yelling at the rest in his team. How does anyone get work done under him. He's also a male chauvinist constantly belittling the women in the company. So despite sexual harassment, chauvinism, yelling at his workers and sending illegal emails to all in the company, he still kept his job and was still given projects to head. I blame Manager He for allowing this kind of behavior on his watch. And yes...It's amazing how everyone just sits there and condones his behavior when it's so obvious what a pervert he is.

I like tsuchiya tao, but if Mio's Mom supposed to look so much like Mio, why didn't they cast Arimura Kasumi?…
I was curious about the actress you mentioned so I googled it and you are 100% right!!! Good call! She does resemble Miyo more than the actress that played her mom! I also thought Mio's mom & Miyo did not really look alike but her stepmom kept mentioning that Miyo has her mom's eyes so I was going with that.

So a little clip on IG made me search and search and search to watch this movie. I was ready to give up until I finally was let in on one of the sites and was able to watch it in it's entirety. This turned out to be such an amazing find - great story and the male lead with his icy gray blonde hair was swoon-worthy! He really brought the manga character to life...as did the female lead for Miyo. I cannot say enough how enjoyable it was to watch - the buildup to their love story was the sweetest - who wouldn't want a strong man like Kiyoka to back up and support you? Miyo was abused and broken down and made subservient by her evil stepmother & stepsister. Her father abandoned her a long time ago after realizing she had no spiritual ability which I hated him for. But then again his marriage to Miyo's mother was a political one - one which prevented him from marrying the woman of his choice which was the stepmother. So I'm sure he was already resentful in the marriage and then finding his daughter had no ability just sealed his hatred of his first daughter. Miyo suffered so much at the hands of her "family" and they thought with glee that sending her to Lord Kudo would be the end of her life based on his reputation of driving other potential women away and his ruthlessness. What a pleasant surprise to find out that he was actually a kind man who wasn't what he was made out to be. I love the interactions between Lord Kudo with his housekeeper, Yurie who was more like his mom. And his right hand man, Godo who had the audacity to goad and tease Kiyoka whenever he could just because he can...lol...loved his character too. Anyway, this movie reminded me a little of the Korean drama, Alchemy of Souls, with families having special abilities and fighting the main evil. I am hoping they continue this story with Season 2 because this first one was simply amazing. I want to see more of sweet relationship between Miyo & Kiyoka and the rest of the characters! I'm so hooked!!! Oh...and now I'm watching the anime on Netflix!

Title I Am Nobody Spoiler
So, this was one of the dramas that I didn't give a chance after the 1st episode. I thought it was so campy and silly at first so I stopped after the 1st ep. But Youtube kept sucking me in with their display of the drama whenever I was on it. And thank goodness I gave this drama another chance - once I started watching, I binged watched it for 2 days and finished the 27 episodes - Thank you Youtube for airing all eps with the English subs!! I was worried that I was going to get caught in the zone where I would be stuck at a certain eps with the following eps not subbed. I loved the whole storyline with Zhang ChuLan and Feng Bao Bao - both are trying to find out mysteries in their lives. And as we get more involved in the "Outsiders" world, more mysteries come out and you are more hooked. Feng Bao Bao is a mystery woman who has extraordinary strength. I don't think she has lost in any fights. At first I thought she might be a robot because of her strength - the actress that plays her is simply awesome. Even though most of the time she is devoid of feelings & expressions, there has been situations that her facial expressions convey the feelings she has even though she's supposed to be emotionless (if you know what I'm trying to say). She's so perfect in her role. I love watching her kick ass!! The relationship she has with Chulan seems to me, more like brother & sister...even though we find out later what her role really was in Chulan's life. I really love Neo Hou and that's the real reason why I was interested in watching this drama in the first place. I loved, loved, loved him in Back From the Brink. This actor constantly reminds me of Xiao Zhan...he could be Xiao Zhan's younger brother and I would love to see a drama in the future where these two actors play brothers. Anyway, the friendships that are made along the way is what makes this drama so heartwarming. Some of the villains are not really villains - they have just been treated horribly in their lives and were easily drawn into the gang, Sinister Pleasure. I love the romance between a righteous Lingyu and the villainess seductress, He - a definite opposites attract situation; the bromance between Wang Ye and Ge Qing; loved Grandmaster Tian Shi and his kick ass revenge; the close & funny relationship development of Wang Ye & Chulan; I even loved the brothers San & Si - I found their interactions with Wang Ye & Chulan absolutely adorable. All in all, there's so many amazing things about this drama except for the fact that we have to wait for Season 2 where we hopefully will have the showdown with good vs bad and have all the mysteries explained.

Title Strong Girl Nam Soon Spoiler
Ugh...I made the mistake of watching this without checking to see how many episodes have aired. I watched the first 2 episodes, got sucked in but now I have to wait for new episodes to air. So I will put a pause on this until more eps are aired. I seen the original one, Strong Woman, so I kind of expected the storyline to be a similar mix: comedy, silliness, romance, some drama, etc. I really loved the chemistry between Park Bo Young & Park Huyng Sik in the Strong Woman drama and I found Park Hyung Sik absolutely adorable in his role. So back to this current drama. I recognized the FL in another drama where she played a selfish school girl in the zombie drama, All of Us are Dead. I think she is adorable in this role. Anyway, my thoughts: the actress playing the role of Nam Soon's mom - I can't help but stare at her because of the obvious plastic surgeries she had...it's a bit distracting. But she has a rocking body at her age which I found out was 47. She plays a crusading mom out to fight evil who has lost her daughter at a young age in Mongolia. I have no idea why with all her money she couldn't find her especially since they lost her in the desert - how many villages could there be for them to go check? The unbelievable part was the stupid strong woman contest she put on to find her daughter. Ok...so the fake "daughter" was able to lift those heavy items out of all the girls that participated in the contest. So the next thing you do is give this girl more tests pertaining to her strength. If you are truly strong like the women are in the family, she can practically lift a car. And the final test would be a DNA test! Why would you take the fake daughter just like that? For a rich business woman, Hwang Geum Joo seems pretty naive and easily gullible to the bad guys' schemes. And Nam Soom building her "Ger" in the park is ridiculous too. Besides the fact that she has all her belongings in there and not worried that her stuff will be taken when she's not there. And why would the authorities allow such a big structure to be built on the park. Also, there's absolutely no hiding her strength from the public when she was building the Ger. Her strength has constantly been exposed and nothing gets back to her family about this girl that has super strength? And why are you keeping the fake daughter around even after you found out she's fake? Arghhhhh....and this is only 2 episodes. So these are the things annoying me about this drama but I know I have to suspend reality and just go with the flow. I still enjoyed it despite the disbelieving storyline...I can't wait until her family is finally reunited with Nam Soon. But in the meantime, I will pause until more eps air.

This was so very informative! Thanks! I kind of feel that Xiang Liu outwardly portrays himself with lots of bravado and confidence in order to intimidate his enemies. But inwardly, he feels insecure because he has never known love or caring....sometimes it feels like he thinks of himself as a monster and he will get upset if anyone reminds him what a demon he is. Xiao Yao is the only one who has broken into his hard shell because she accepts him the way he is. In return, he is both amazed and resentful towards her. He doesn't want to be known as a softie and whenever XY breaks into his hard shell, he does something to punish her in retaliation for making him have feelings. The actor is amazing in portraying the conflicting feelings he has when he is with Xiao Yao. You see how happy he is with her, the moments when he is caught smiling at her, the times he wants to touch her and then hold back, the resentful looks he has when she thinks they are friends, etc. His facial expressions are amazing to watch. I know it won't end well for him but at least he got to know what it felt like to love someone in his cruel & harsh life.

So does this affect her Princess status? Will this be exposed? I know Cang Xuan was having this investigated secretively but it didn't seem he had a concrete evidence...only that XY's mom was cosy with the demon.

cang xuan is probably the most realistic male lead but wow he pales in comparison when it comes to the other two.…
I think that because CX can't be more than a "brother" to XY, he is there as her emotional support whenever she needs it. He was there for her when she broke down after seeing a "twin" of her mother and he was always there for her when Tushan Jing let her down. He wouldn't accept her "death" after she was tortured by Mu Fei even though all the doctors told him she was dead. He entrusted Xiang Liu to bring her back from death and reluctantly allowed XL to take her. The love they have for each other was formed during their childhood and being "abandoned" by their parents and the promise they made to always be by each other's side. I love seeing their interactions together because CX is so loving & gentle with XY but it also pains me and makes me sad because CX loves her more than a brother and the longing sad looks he gives XY tears at my heart.

Can someone explain what's the deal with Xiang Liu? Why does he keep sucking Xiao Liu's blood? Is he a vampire…
It does give the impression that he's a vampire! Lolol....Xiang Liu found out earlier in their meeting that Xiao Yao's blood has healing powers for him. He often gets injured in his battles so she is an easy source of healing. XY doesn't seem to mind giving him her blood since that gives her the opportunity to have someone to talk to. And XL intrigues her because even though he is supposed to be "bad", she senses good in him. It seems like he abuses & bullies her - in the beginning he was using her for healing but along the way, he starts to develop feelings for her but does not want to appear as a lovestruck softie to her.

Title Lost You Forever Spoiler
I binged watch this drama last night up to the last episode...saving it for tonight. I can't believe we are going to have to wait for Season 2!! Tushan Jing has been such a disappointment for me - he keeps falling into his scheming fiance (now wife) & brother's manipulations with help from his overbearing grandmother. I was actually cheering and yelling when his grandmother died....I was like "GOOOOOOD!!!" All he does is mope around and constantly say "Sorry" to Xiao Yao...ugh...please stop already! Cang Xuan is forever looking at XY with such longing every time they are together. I know he loves her more than a "sister" but can never reveal his true feelings for her. He just knows he needs to gain enough power to keep his loved ones safe so his goal is very tunnel vision-like. The sad part of his 1st wedding was asking XY not to congratulate him because he knows he has marry to form an alliance but that doesn't mean he is marrying for love. Xiang Liu...what can I say about him....whenever he comes into the picture, you know it will be either fun for XY or if she says the wrong thing, he will drop her out of the sky or push her into the ocean as punishment. He only reveals his innermost secrets to a comatose XY. I know he is also the one coming to her rescue at various times but is this due to the poisonous love bug in him? I'm not sure - if she dies, does that mean he dies too or he loses 1 of his 9 lives? At times, he looks at her with longing too but then he can turn on a dime if XY says something not to his liking. Feng Long is the only one that doesn't seem like he has a lot of angst. He wants to marry XY for her title as Princess and political gain and also because he thinks she will be fun to be with because he can talk and drink with her. He started to grow on me too...I think he is adorable. I'm going to savor the last episode because I don't know when we will get to see Season 2. I want to know if Tushang Hou and that witch will be found out (I think he killed the maid that overheard their baby plot); I want to know if Xiao Yao is actually the daughter of the hated demon; and of course who XY ends up with...I actually know who she ends up with but I want to see what happened along the way to lead up to this. So many unanswered questions.

She likes our hot white hair vampire, buuuut it very subtle and secretly (he also will never show or say her that…
Xiang Liu confessed more about his life to Xiao Yao when she was in a coma in the big clam shell. At times he looks like he's so enamored by her but the minute she starts complimenting him or trying to convey her sadness about his life, he gets uncomfortable and angry with her. He does not like her saying nice things about him which tells me that he thinks of himself as a monster and unworthy of any praises from others. He does run hot & cold at times. But I really find his intensity so sexy...he is the broken anti-hero. I seen the actor in the drama "Under The Skin" where he plays a sketch artist for the police but didn't even connect that it was him playing Xiang Liu in this drama. But once I realized it was the same actor, I was in shock. He was good in that drama too but in costume period outfit...it's another level!

I never read the novel so I'm just basing it on the drama I just finished - such a good drama too! In the drama he takes off leaving FDB behind....again with FDB & DFS looking for him. I'm really sad to hear he became blind and lost his memories in the novel. But I'm glad to see that FDB stays with him and takes care of him. Does the novel mention what happened to Di Fei Sheng? Because I know I won't be reading the novel anytime soon.

I just finished watching MLC and now onto Lost You Forever. MLC was one of the few dramas that kept my attention from episode to episode. Many times I will start a drama and then pause it because I lost interest but not with MLC. I was so sad that it ended. Cheng Yi has that magical talent of making the character his own - I loved him in Love & Redemption. This man must spit up buckets of blood in most of his dramas...he's become an expert!
