I'm not trying to insult her or anything but name Jiravechsoontornkul Wiraporn made me laugh so much XD god…
Nothing to forgive - so did I and many, MANY others when we read it. A lot of us were like "are we reading that name right? It does say ADULTKITTIPORN? We're not just being dirty minded right?" XD I adore my family, but that name I'd have changed as soon as I was legally old enough to do it!
My personal dislikes, top 5: 5.) A woman chasing the man obsessively. 4.) Crazy mothers. 3.) Long time-skips.…
Oh my God you are SO right - this is so TRUE. The crazy mothers - I mean seriously, I AM a mother to a 19 year old daughter and I can ASSURE you I would NEVER, EVER do even ONE of the mental things they do to kids they say they love. I've also learnt one thing - as you point out so well - even if there's not a single car/bike/pedestrian (except for the main couple) for MILES crossing the street in ANY East Asian country means that you're liable to die or be horribly maimed by being hit/barged/jostled into the road if you're a lead character (especially a female lead). I mean HOW does that even happen? Do the cars/bikes/running pedestrians just TELEPORT to that location and suddenly all converge on our hapless hero or heroine?
However I have to say my personal best PET HATE of all these - and probably linked to SLS - is the woman who turns down and subsequently friend-zones the sweet natured, kind, considerate, thoughtful and loving Second Lead to remain with the bullying, rude, cold, unfeeling, narcissistic JERK Main Lead. I'm sorry but WHY.....what I mean is if....No, no....just WHY? WHO does that? Seriously WHO? Especially on the odd occasion the Second Lead musters up the courage (and the equipment) to escape the Friend Zone; she just wrangles him BACK in there! It's usually at that point the last gif above is basically me......."there aren't enough curse words in the world for me right now".......*face palms* I am now going to lie down in a nicely darkened room with a big bar of chocolate and cry over the insanity!. ;)
I hate all these - but I did LOVE the last one with the gif of 'there aren't enough curse words in the world for me right now'.......that is ME...EVERY.SINGLE.TIME one of my hated scenarios happens. ESPECIALLY an open/tragic ending.
Is this 'Free!' Live action because my daughter (19) will want to know?! :D
Aww, okay - but the poster really looks like 'Free' from the couple of episodes of the anime I've watched with her (granted two isn't many to get a good idea). She's really hoping they make a live action of it one day; I was so hoping to say they finally had. lol!
Well done to Klaudia (aka Klaudynal) - ALL these dramas are BRILLIANT. I actually cannot pick a favourite - it's like she's gone through every drama addict's list and somehow known which are our absolute favourites to pick our favourites. WELL DONE - 10/10 from this Addict! :D
Oh and my daughter (19 and a gaming addict (as well as dramas) will be VERY happy to hear that 'Love O2O' is a sure sign that even when you're a gamer hermit your OTL will STILL find you! lol!
The Ending of this Movie is happy ending. You have to watch the cutted scene in you tube that make the movie happy…
@Nayomi7777- THANK YOU for the tip. I found the scenes you mentioned and the ending made SO much more sense. It was finally the ending to a beautiful movie. THANK YOU again. :)
Wrote my 50th episode blog post! It was hard to keep in under 4K words! That's how much I love this drama!!
Maybe more people learnt different languages and started subbing their (at that time) current favourites? Once I get a handle on them I might have a stab at subbing, my daughter (19) says she can teach me. :) I'd actually probably concentrate on older shows for just the reason you've stated - lots subbing current ones.
Chung Jung Myung is my lovely boy since I saw him in 'Heart to Heart' and 'What's Up Fox?' and just adored him. Well, okay it took time to adore him in 'Heart to Heart' because his character started out as such a dipstick.... ;) But NOW I do adore him!

Annnd this is why I'm diligently trying to learn both Korean and Japanese right now......so many BRILLIANT dramas never subbed because subbers only have so many hours in the day.....can't blame them for wanting a life AND only picking dramas THEY like. :) So, I will persevere with the language lessons! :D
I voted 'Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu' as often as it came up in different sections because it was so good. Likewise I voted for Saito Takumi because he's such an under-rated and under-used actor.
I think it's cheating to put 'Miracle Man' in the 'Family Drama' vote TWICE - it's under it's English name ('Miracle Man') AND it's Japanese name ('Kiseki no Hito').
I LOVE Jung Kyung Ho and usually watch the dramas he makes (though my favourite was 'Falling for Innocence') - BUT if this is the Korean version of 'LOST' I am dropping it faster than I drop broccoli! I wasted 6 YEARS watching that cop-out waiting for the ending we were promised that NEVER happened....I have TRUST issues because of LOST damn it! ;)
ANYTHING with Ji Sung in I automatically watch - he is such a BRILLIANT actor that I refuse to miss ANYTHING, even if he was just reading a phone book. lol! I STILL root for Shin Se-gi EVERY time I watch 'Kill Me, Heal Me'.
