Title My Stand-In Spoiler
That last scene hit hard because how well they set us up to fall on our face. I just knew after all those cut scenes that Ming was falling for Joe not because he was a stand in for Tong, but because he actually was getting to know him and like him. But the fact that he had a complete break down and not just a moment of sadness when they got engaged said loudly his feeling were very much still deep. I also am wondering if Ming is sleeping with Tong on the side, cause after he got caught kissing Joe by Tong, and Tong pulled him out, he disappeared for hours and was all kinds of rumpled and unkempt. My heart breaks for Joe. Especially after seeing the preview for next week. I cannot imagine how I'm supposed to root for Ming to be with Joe, when he is just he worst. I get that the heart wants what it wants, but I wish he hadn't involved Joe.

Buuuuutttttt, I will say, that if you think about it, in all those flashback from Ming's past having a crush on Tong, he only mentions and shows the scenes/photos, that were Joe. So I'm saying he has actually been in love with Joe this whole time but didn't realize it.

This show is the messiest, and I love it muchly! 😂😂😂

Mixed feelings for this particular story. The romance was great, but I really wish it wasn't with a robot. It was just weird. This may have worked better for me if it was just anti social guy meets guy on the spectrum. No uncle being weird in the background. No AI stuff. Just those two types of people navigating how to be in a relationship with each other. And you wouldn't really have to change character personalities or the rest of the moments outside of the AI stuff. This is definitely my least favorite out of the group.

I was NOT expecting this show to be so messy! But I am living for it! I hate Ming, and they are going to have to do a heck of a character development shift for me to come around. Right now, I'm aiming for Joe and Sol, cause Ming is the worst. I'm sure his back story was supposed to soften us up and at first that scene with his sister where he was all soft and guilty (I get that he must feel so torn and wrecked because he wants his sister's boyfriend) and then the end scene where he realized that Joe chose him and he came to make dinner and they were so stinking cute at the end. But then.... the preview for next week came and I was back to hating Ming. Sigh...
Also, Tong is the worst and I kind of get why Ming likes him because he are very similar in their douchieness. This sister is too pretty for that hot mess, and I hope she finds someone else.
Looking forward to next week!

This was a pretty good series. I give it a 10/10 for queer representation. Loved the mom and Meji storyline. And I think it is the first show that showed drag done 'right" and by that I mean not in caricature way, but in a way is real. Dai's wigs and outfits were top tier. Honestly, costumes and outfits for everyone were great.
Now acting was a little...hit or miss. And some of the story as well. The DJ and other dude's story didn't really make any sense, nor did it add to the story. It felt thrown in at the last moment and honestly wasn't really necessary. Also, I wish there had been a bit more focus on character/story development and less on all the NC scenes. Like the last NC scene wasn't necessary, I would have rather had more of Seiji, Japan and Ken and to see how they worked out being a throuple. I was way more interested to know if the rules of their throuple were that Japan and Ken see Seiji, but not each other, which is kind of how they came out to the group as or do they eventually become throuple like in Japan's dream, which kind of indicates that he likes Ken too, at least sexually. I hope they get a spinoff or at least a special episode, inquiring minds want to know. 😂😂😂
Overall, a good story, worth the watch.

I liked this series. There have been some stinkers at the beginning of 2024, so it's refreshing to get cute series like this or Only Boo. I loved Kimmon in this, however I would have LOVED if they had had at least one kiss with his lead actress. A kiss after they got engaged would have been perfect for all the times she rejected the kiss. But I loved their story line. The actress who played Namsom is gorgeous, so I hope we get to see more of her.
I liked the messages in here about social media and shipping and how it effects people who are literally doing their jobs. I love a good ship and boy do blush with the best of them if my favorite ships do something cute or sweet. But at the end of the day, I don't lose any sleep over who they are with in their lives, same as straight pairings. It would be wonderful if there was an app that was like Zendaya, that only the good stuff could be shared.
I liked Job and Porsche in this. I don't know that the chemistry was all the way there, but I also didn't feel like they weren't a good match or that there there was zero chemistry. And while I think the acting was good, there were some stiff places, especially in the million kiss scenes we got.
I love a good kiss scene, I did feel like there were too many and not enough story. I would have been happier if instead of a kiss/NC scene we would have gotten more dating/talking moments. Like the garden scene. Fueang chasing Krom around with the little red watering can around the garden and having a little cute water battle would have been just what that part needed, instead of more kissing.
But on the flip side of that, I appreciate that they showed to healthy young men who were just horny for each other, especially at the the start of their relationship. It's realistic. So I guess I just want a balance between the two.
I hope we get a special episode, cause I would love to see them all again.
Side Note: Shout out to Star Hunter for hiring so many LGBTQ actors and allowing them to show up in a way that represents themselves. I forget where I first saw Fluque in, but am always impressed by her, and now I really need them to make a romantic comedy with her in it. I only suggest comedy because all of the roles that I have seen her in, she has been funny. I would love to see her flourish!

I just caught up with this series. I like parts of it and really roll my eyes at some of it. Starting with the likes, I like Shogun and First (although the size of Shogun's head compared to his body is distracting as heck! I know he cannot help it, and he is hella handsome, but man!) I like that for the most part they are showing Khem and Wela in a healthy, somewhat realistic relationship, and by that I mean 2 young men who are dating constantly doing it (albeit exhibitionist style, for the added kink!) all the time. Would I like to see a bit more hugging and just physical touch with out the constant kissing, sure! I like a balance between my NC and my romance. But over all, the chemistry is chemistrying. I will say I was frustrated at the part where they are constantly getting raided but all Khem could focus on was Wela literally doing his job, the job he was doing long before they hooked up. While I understood the jealously, it went to far. I need Thai shows (really all the shows every where all around the world) to stop normalizing assault as just a thing guys do when they are jealous/upset. I would have loved to see a bit more of Khem appreciating the business his mother built and put in a bit more effort. Just seems like they have too much NC, too little character development.
The whole Seiji/Japan/Ken thing is another frustration for me. 2 episodes left and I don't really know who I'm supposed to ship. I was hoping for a throuple (literally would have made the most sense in the context of this story and how they have written it so far), but mainly because while I could tell Seiji likes Japan, I cannot NOT tell if he likes Ken as well. Then you have Japan standing up for Ken, realizing that Ken does in fact know and love Seiji the most and not really standing the way of that and Ken on the flip side of that helping Japan get to know Seiji and take care of him better. Why not a throuple? We'll see I guess, but who knows after that kiss. I will say that who ever is doing Seiji hair needs to be fired. Which is crazy because whoever is in charge of Dai's hair/makeup and clothes needs a raise. Makes me wonder if they were in charge of their own...
I have know clue what to make of Great and James. I thought at first James was having a one sided love and that Great was just oblivious to it, but then we get a random bathtub scene and now I'm not sure. I'm guessing they were pretending because of the Golden Rule #5, still, then say that during the bathtub rubbing extravaganza so that we, the viewer, get why they are in the tub together.
While I love Khun Freya, she also frustrated me. She was losing money left and right and not really doing thing about it. Why shut down the club for week to clean it instead of taking down auntie/grandma screaming lady? The first time the shut my club down, I'm investigating why. I'm posting videos on social media about police abusing their power to try and ruin her business with out any proof. I imagine, just one video of her showing her club and proving there was nothing illegal going on (or better yet, compiling the video from that dude seems to always be there and asking social media to start asking the police why they keep harassing Deep Night. I bet the auntie/grandma doesn't have enough power and money to keep doing it if the police get push back from the masses. I just wanted to see both Khem and Freya put a bit more care/effort than just standing there looking frustrated.
Overall, I liked it. But I won't lie, even at my old age, I am beginning to dream of one day becoming fluent in Thai for the sole purpose of editing some of the scripts so they make better sense and then making sure who ever edits it makes the story flow a bit better. I just think this plot is really interesting and new but suffers so much from too many NC scenes (gasp! I never thought I would say that as a person who used to beg for anything more than barely there kisses aka fish lips in these shows) and not enough character development and consistent plot lines.

Just finished this. I liked it overall. Everyone got what they deserved except for White. But I get why they did that, as to torture Tee for the rest of his life. I get that he had a hard life and he had to take care of his dad. But dragging Non in and literally destroying ever square inch of his life with only a little remorse at the end. His only qualm was he didn't want Non to die. But let's say he did all that to Non and somehow Non didn't end up working the casino and the debt was forgiven. Non still had lost everything at that point. Even with out disappearing, his parents had washed their hands of him. If Non had killed himself because of the actions of Tee and Top and Por and Jin, I honestly don't think he would have felt bad. He sure didn't seem to feel bad while he was doing all that to Non. I'm on New's side, other than killing the helper and White. They were innocent and didn't deserve to be caught up. But everyone else got what they deserved. I'll only waver on Phee as he had a right to be upset with Non. Although it wasn't clear, I think Non slept with Keng in exchange for that money. He was just looking for a way out. And Keng took advantage of Non's desperation.
Jin was kind of the worst for me, simply because from the beginning he acted like he had no part in Non's disappearance, like he was the only one kind to Non, when in reality, he was kind of creepy with Non, always touching him with out consent, even when it was clear Non was uncomfortable and did not return any feelings. To do what he did to Non and then to help cover up his disappearance was all I needed to know about Jin. He wasn't that good to him before the sex tape incident either. He never once tried to really stop his friends from abusing Non.
Anyway, I do want to know why they didn't get out and how are they still stuck, but overall, I'm satisfied with the ending. Good on you, New for avenging your brother. They all deserved that level of punishment.

On Jazz for Two Apr 2, 2024
Title Jazz for Two Spoiler
This was good, but could have been great. I agree with everyone else, this needed like 2 more episodes, to really work out all the conflicts that were presented.
1) Evil gives one slap (and from how crazy he was to begin with and how afraid both of the brothers were, I cannot imagine that was his first time slapping either of them) and he suddenly stops controlling Yoon So Heon?! He made So Heon practiced until past 2am because he was late, but one time he doesn't come home, after he was kicked out, and Daddy Dearest forgot to be mean!? I was really hoping for his So Heon to show his dad that Jazz is just as important and worthy as Classical and then Daddy Dearest would come around after the festival performance. Cliche, but not dealing with Dad at all left a hole in the story.
2) I wish So Heon's brother had acted a little bit more crushed that Taejoon killed himself. He went from being in love to breaking Taejoon heart because he wasn't ready and then that was it. We didn't get to see how he felt when Taejoon commits suicide. It would have been great to see him, in his brief appearances through out the show, act like he was sad sometimes. You know, a cliched gaze into the distance. Just so we know he felt bad about the whole situation. Cause through out that reveal of how he knew Taejoon, I kept thinking, he must not have cared too much for him. He had thrown away the rest of the song, had given one page of it to his brother and the yearbook, with the picture of them was in the living room, seemingly forgotten. It was like he didn't hold any of the things he had that related to Taejoon dear, so how were we supposed to believe that loved him.
3)I needed an explanation as to Joo Ha was soooo mean. I mean, I got that he was doing it to punish DooYoon for making him feel things, but what did So Heon have to do with it?! And all the absolute abuse he subjected Doo Yoon to was crazy. That level of mean and vicious went above repressed feelings.
4) Speaking of, I hated all the overlooked assaults. Like both couples were cute and believable, except, why would they want to date those dudes who abused them?! I needed the script to do more to shame both characters than just having to give an apology.

5) Also, I needed them to build the love up between Tae Yi and So Heon a bit more for me to believe that Tae Yi would just be cool with So Heon's brother being the reason that Tae Joon commits suicide. Especially since they spent most of the 8 episodes emphasizing how effected by it Tae Yi was.

Overall though, it was good. The chemistry between couples was amazing, so I enjoyed it. I'm just saying it could have been better.

On I Feel You Linger in the Air Mar 19, 2024
I finally watched this drama. I have mixed feelings, but most of them are good. First, let me say, if you are hesitant to watch it, go watch it. What this show did EXTREMELY well, was tell a romantic as hell story. Like all the feels. I'm not a crier, so this didn't get me, but it almost did. It was well acted by everyone involved, but especially the main leads. I truly believed they had an epic love. It was a perfect period drama that showed just enough of the climate of the time, with out getting so bogged down by historical details, that you lose the romance. It also didn't let the main couple get swallowed up by the main side stories, you get soo many amazing scenes with them together, alot of them happy moments. But they also don't leave the side stories hanging. Well, not much. I would have liked one more episode, showing how Khun Yai lived his life and how the other people in the story ended up, like Eaung Puang and Maey. And Ming. What did their lives become? Did Ming ever get to leave the house and follow his dreams?
Now for the parts that bothered me. First, why was going back in time enough to make Jom less...well everything. That man was an architect. That meant he had to be incredibly smart, especially to lead a project like House Palathip. Why didn't he act like it?! He was so self assured on the phone with his co worker who was being a jerk in the first episode and the workers obviously followed his lead, showing that he has proven in his life, that he was a more than capable leader. Why did he become this mousey man who hunched his shoulders every time he talked to anyone, like he was just a humble servant who had worked all his life and didn't have any life experience outside of being a servant. He should have taken his knowledge of the past, which I imagine he had to have studied at some point, along with the street smarts that would have come second nature to someone who is from the future. I kept waiting for a rousing pro-LGBTQ speech, especially to the father, after they took down Robert, just to get folks thinking about change. Some speech Jom would have read a million times on vlogs and instagram rants. But alas, nope.
There were other things that irked me, but that ending...Huh?! I've seen some posts saying that there will be a season 2, but one thing I have learned, especially with Thai dramas, is that a season 2 almost never happens, even if the show is popular. RamKing anyone? And even when it does, look at how long we usually have to wait. Between Us anyone? This show would have been a masterpiece to end all masterpieces if they had just taken maybe 30 extra minutes to explain...well anything really. If he was reincarnated, how can he remember Jom? Who is he in relation to Yai, as he never was with anyone again (we assume) until his death and sister was a lesbian who maybe aborted her baby? I say maybe because the story lead us to believe that was what she was going to do, then didn't show it and when they left, she looked pregnant, but they didn't explain that...maybe it's a great great nephew from the youngest brother, but again, we don't get that explained. We just see Yai in modern clothes with a full memory of who Jom is to him. Again, I say, HUH?! And that will be such a dissatisfying ending if they never make a second season. And if they do, they seem to be going to focusing on mustache Yai, so apparently Jom just time travels to all the Yai's in the past and falls in love with them...but that is such a stupid storyline...
While I was disappointed in the ending, it didn't take away from the beautiful story that most of the series was, which says alot. I can only hope that if they do a season 2, that it will be just as good. I'm not really expecting it, but I can hope, right.

Title Playboyy Spoiler
This show was an enigma, wrapped in a hotdog, covered in WTF. The mystery had me until the end, I'll admit it. And I actually liked that they pushed the boundaries of sex scenes in this show, no matter had ridiculous a lot of the scenes were. I commend the actors cause they committed to scenes that most actors wouldn't.
But other than that, this show was just bad. And it had all the potential. But who ever wrote this was like, this show is already out there, let's make it make zero sense at the end and we'll get a second season out of this.
And I'll admit, it may have worked. I need to know if they ever take down Jason Lee. I need to know if Aob and Puen figure out how to survive. I need to know why Keen is still pretending to be Captain's boyfriend after he got his revenge (much deserved, btw). I need to know does Nuth get out of jail, and how they do it. I need to know if Phob died, like it seemed he did. I need to know why Phob killed Nant. How did he even know Nant was going to be there.
I KNEW from probably 4 episodes in, that Zouey did SOMETHING crooked. He was waayyy to innocent for someone as kinky as he was behind the scenes. He just gave off psycho. I don't know that I totally understand why he continued to deal with and protect Jason Lee after he was assaulted. His whole involvement with Jason Lee and Nant didn't make a ton of sense, but I guess that was another way to make us come back for season 2.
I had to listen to this stinking show on mute for half of it, (too much cringey English), skipping through some scenes (long pauses, dramatic stares, and cringey crying). The ridiculous costumes (let's go torture someone and get in a shoot out in a crop top, leather ensemble with high heel boots, cause that makes sense!) were painful to watch half of the time. Special shout out to the flesh toned underwear worn in every single scene for the random sitting around naked moments.
And in saying all this, I will probably come back, soooo reluctantly, but I will come back and watch if they somehow manage to get enough sponsors to make a second season or a special episode to explain WTF that all was. See ya'll there! Cause you know you'll watch this cringeyfest with me! 😂😂

This rating is NUTS! I imagine it's only this low because so many people went into this thinking it would be a BL despite it never being advertised as one. Please watch this, it deserves all the views, it honestly deserves world wide recognition.

This was an AMAZING high quality production. The acting, the clothes, the sets, the music, the storyline....ALL top tier! Apo deserves a million awards for his role as Khem. Miles was also so good, with his quiet despair. Bas was heartbreakingly good! And as usual, Tong was just...chef's kiss!

I cannot say enough at how well done this was. I am soo glad that this was available for Netflix in the States, cause I have been dying to watch this since the first trailer. Be On Cloud always delivers on top notch production quality and this is no exception.

This was completely worth your time and deserves a much higher rating.

As someone who is watched all of TayNew's stuff, this series amplified why they are part of the 3 pillars of GMMTV and that love scene showed how much they have grown and how far they have come. While they haven't ever really given "bad kisses" New tended to act like he was being forced to kiss Tay, so it was hard to feel the romance of what is supposed to be 2 characters in love in all of their BLs together. They erased that with this series and especially that love scene. My favorite part of ep. 11 is them cuddled in bed afterward, just sooo happy to be together and so in love. I did not see TayNew but KaranAchi and that is exactly what actors should bring to any role they play. I honestly never expected to see them together in another BL after Dark Blue Kiss and I actually would have been okay with that. They are great in other series and while others act like they only used BL to get into acting and will never return once they get any other genre, Tay and New both seem to be genuine with their love for their beginning and the BL world that brought them in to acting, much like OffGun. But know that TayNew have come back and done so well, I kind of need them in another series together as a couple... either way, I look forward to their next series together, as it looks good.
Junior as Jinta is an AMAZING balance of the over exaggerated Japanese version of this character and the Thai version of slapstick humor. This character in either country could easily be annoying, and the Japanese version did so well, that I was so worried for this particular character when they announced the Thai adaptation. Junior is doing so well! He is cute and ridiculous all in one and I love him so much! I hope to see lots of him in future roles!

I think your first paragraph is a good take on this series. It was a bit over the top in places, but I know people…
I honestly think, at least in the BL world, they do develop some type of feelings. I get why so many of them describe their relationship as more than friends or partners, but never say, "we are dating" I think the phenomenon of a ship has created a special type of "relationship". The best and I honestly think the first to describe it is Billkin and PP. It is so clear that Billkin is straight and PP is gay, but they way the behave with each other, you would honestly think they were dating or at least had dated. But they just call it a special relationship and that is that. I think a good example of who I think are still finding their way at balancing that relationship or even crossing over into that kind of relationship are ForceBook. They have been best friends, so their chemistry together is there. But if you look at their love scenes in OnlyFans, they did not hardly go "there", the way Force and Neo did. I mean, Force kissed First more passionately than he did Book. I think it goes to your point of not being able to kiss your BFF like that. I think it says alot about acting talent to be able to kiss your BFF and not have it be weird. The best example of that is FirstKhao.

I think I had figured out why OffGun were doing the lamest kisses after so many years together and so many BLs that GMMTV has produced alone. Maybe they made this for those who are new to BL and have never seen people kiss before and don't know that you don't do it with your eyes open and zero body contact.
Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed. Being one of the pillars of GMMTV, OffGun are capable of better. We have seen them do better. While this was supposed to be light hearted with a touch of angst, this was still an acting job. They should have done better, especially Gun.
Don't get me wrong, I love OffGun and will forever ship them. I'm just saying this was not it for me. Even Dynamite and Fire's story line was meh to me. They had zero chemistry. Even that hug at the while Fire was heartbroken over his crazy mother's reaction was awkward and not the hug you give to someone you love when they are going through something. It looked more like a casual friend who happened to come across you crying cause you just found out your family dog died, and you hug them cause you don't know what else to do.
And while I sort of like that they made Prem's sister in love with Samsee, it wasn't hardly believable because they show zero of her feeling for him until literally the last segment. Like, why couldn't we have know all along that she liked him. This show could have used a third couple.
The dad pissed me off and I hate that we were just supposed to accept his crappy behavior toward Ten and Prem. In all of those years, it never occurred to him that he should explain that he did try to save Ten's mom? And instead of just getting to know Prem, he harassed him for the money back only to give it back while demanding to be fed after hours when they had worked all day? And not an apology for any of this awful behavior, huh?
While this is by far not the worst drama that ended this week (have you seen For Him...Don't!), it was meh. Off was actually pretty good and believable as Ten, but he could not carry the whole show. And while I kind of liked that they didn't win in the end, it would have been nice to see the other two's success after the show once Prem opened up his chef's table. And I kind of would love to have seen those awful Mise En Place people's restaurant mostly empty with dwindling customers because even if the food tasted good, their poor service would keep customers away.
Is it a skip...not really, it was serviceable. But it's definitely not going on the rewatch list.

I loved the friend group, except when they would come during the worst possible moments interrupting. I mean while blondie and the other dude were great at advice, the kind of were stalking the ML's at points. Like how do you give advice to talk it out, then go hunting them down and interrupt said talk?! Other than that, it was great. The slice of sweetness I needed.

This going into the worst bls list along with Physical Therapy, Dinosaur Love and Chain of Heart. Just WTF!? A million ads, a million awkward, weird sex scenes (too many feet!!!!) and zero story. Man, I miss Last Twilight, Pitbabe, and the Sign. I don't care what anyone says, Playboyy is waaaayyy better than this hot garbage. It has flaws, but at least the story makes sense (mostly), the acting is better and the sex scenes don't make me want to gouge my eyes out (Again I say, too many feet!).
