Why in the world do Thai shows have a character who behaves on an unhuman level but then they get forgiven just because they said, I'm sorry? Like Te was a literal nut job and all of a sudden, because the guy you convinced to harass him decided to take it just a tiny bit (read: sarcasm) overboard by shooting the guy you have been God awful to for months, we are supposed to forgive his character and start shipping him with a character we don't know at all? Like who wrote this crap!?!? Like they never for once even show Te feeling bad for all the things he did to Him, and we as the audience are supposed to just accept his lame ass apology and then be like, oh goody, another ship! Huh!?
I was actually interested in the PhaiChao story line at first, but man this whole show was craptastic. Chao being annoying and not cute asking Phai out every day got on my nerves. Phai, being the older one, not able to simply say, "Hey, I get that you want to date, but here are my reason for not wanting to and if you cannot respect that, you have to go", drove me up a wall. Then Chao being gone for 3 or 1 days, it wasn't clear due to the bad writing and editing, was enough for Phai it maybe miss Chao, but that was also unclear because the actor who plays Phai never changed is facial expression, not once in this entire show. And Chao going to the tattoo shop where Phai works, even though he was supposed to be avoiding him was just...ugh! At that point, I could care less if they are together.
Speaking of caring less, I have -2000000000000% interest in Te and neighbor kid. Mostly because who can ship Te with anyone, I want that kid to run far and fast away from his crazy self. But also because, who is this kid and why have they introduced him when the show is over? I have zero interest in this character, so even if I somehow forgave Te, I don't even know neighbor kid well enough as a character to ship it.
I don't know who wrote this, but I pray they stay far from tv for a while. At least until they learn about character development, plot lines, consistence and a whole host of technical thing that someone creating dramas for entertainment should know. Cause this ain't it.

I agree those scenes were 100% OffGun. It is well documented that Gun gets ticklish with anything next to his…
I completely agree that that was a directorial issue. But I wish that directors realized their needs to be balance between the natural chemistry (Gun's giggle when Off was teasing him) and the cringe (Gun forever basically running away from Papii being near his ear.)

While I liked this series, especially the beginning, it was so flawed in too many places.
The lie dragging on unnecessarily too long was the first. Like he should have told First when he first confessed his feeling for him. And the story still would have worked, just with First helping to hide Sprite and find the evidence to who attacked Zee and who was spying on the volleyball team.
Second, the whole relationship between Zee and Sprite. You know how in Not Me, even though they were separated as kids and were completely different in almost every way, they still looked out for each other and obviously still loved one another. That was what was missing from this show. Sprite literally almost killed himself trying to help Zee out and they was not one thank you from Zee. He was just mad that Sprite replaced him. But why, it was never clear. But I hate that Zee just bossed Sprite around and demanded he help him in his problems, but simply just being nice to First, knowing that Sprite liked him, was too much.
Thirdly, Zee was an unlikeable character. None of the flashback explained his personality. He was just an asshole to everyone except for Salmon. And that was that. No redeeming factor, not sappy scene where the grumpy asshole suddenly understands the error of his ways and at least tries to make friends with his team mates.
Fourth, Salmon was annoying. That speech she gave to Koh about not ruining his life by reporting his behavior to the coach was nuts. He literally drugged Zee...and they had to have known it, although it was literally never discussed again, despite making such a huge deal out of the whole process. I just didn't enjoy her character, and I could care less about her and Zee's relationship because she never showed she liked him, like that. I think I would have liked her better if they had ever shown her being angry and any of Zee's behavior or any of the crappy stuff that was happening to Sprite, despite him doing what she wanted, help Zee. The fact that she didn't help him not suck at volleyball, knowing he couldn't play drove me nuts. Also the fact that she somehow was the team manager, but had zero idea why the entire team hated Zee, and therefore could not warn/protect Sprite from the crap he got when he first took over. Like huh? How did she not know.
Sprite got on my nerves at points, especially at the end when he decided to keep switching with Zee and not tell First it wasn't him. Like huh, what did you think was happening when you weren't there, that your brother who was a literal jerk to everyone, would interact with your boyfriend (despite never having done it before) and keep up your charade? With out first TELLING your brother that you are not only in to First but also kind of dating, so don't be your usual self and treat him nicely. It would have been so easy.
I did like some things. Thun and Sam were cute. Sam's face did not match his body and they made sure we knew it! 😂😂Their storyline was cute, although it bothered me that Sam liked Zee so much but literally did not nothing to get Zee to even know he was alive. Like come on...
I liked Jack and Mike. Although their whole thing about hitting the ball made zero sense and they solved it with sex...so again, problems with the writing. It would have made so much better sense for their characters to have zero conflicts and just be the friends with benefits pair that they brought in just to throw in a NC scene. It would have been fine and welcome, especially while we waited for First and Sprite to get together.
I like the side stories too, except for Koh. Like, as long as he had to have been playing volleyball, to do what he did was stupid. He should have been used to not being starter on that team and to be a gracious loser.
I will say, I am waiting for Thailand's next ITSAY. Last Twilight was close, but there really hasn't been an amazing Thai BL for way to long.

Now, we can see that Prem becomes more romantic and clingier after TenPrem are official. TenPrem frenchkissed…
I agree those scenes were 100% OffGun. It is well documented that Gun gets ticklish with anything next to his neck/ear. I will argue though that this tendency while he is acting shouldn't be there. It was what kind of messed up their tent scene in Not Me. It was supposed to be this sexy moment, when really Gun shows up hating the very scene that was supposed to be sexy. Same goes for this one. I'll admit the one with him giggling at Off's attempts at kisses was cute. But as great of an actor as Gun is, he should be able to put that off, for the sake of the scene. Or just insist that it's not added in the scene. As much as Iove OffGun, I want to see TenPrem, you know.

I actually liked 1626, but not as a BL. This would have been better as a short story separate from literally all these stories. The connection to Kun wasn't needed to tell the story they told. But out of all the stories this one felt the best written, directed and acted. While their feeling for each other weren't clear (I'm sure they kept it blurry on because of the age gap), it reminded me of how Billkin and PP feel about each other or how First and Khao are. You know they aren't together, but there is something more than friendship. And while it seemed sort of like Tod liked Nick, again, it wasn't really clear if it was like "that". I contend that it was the best written out of all the other crap fests we suffered through.

I'm glad that I didn't read the book before seeing this, cause I had zero expectations on the couple, even the ones they have been kind of hinting at outside the show. I wasn't really invested in PeteWay, they had zero chemistry. With one scene, I was on team PeteKenta. Their brief flashback was all I needed to ship them. Outstanding chemistry. Way made me mad, but I was sad he had to go the way he did, so Nut did a great job. Did I want more North and Sonic, yes, but maybe we will get a season 2 or a spin off. How gleeful was I when they stomped Winner out!? Hehe, well deserved! Finger hearts, my fanny!
Tony died a fitting death! I figured Kenta would be his downfall, but not to the extent of murdering him. But it was justified. I really want to see what happened to Kenta afterward. Yes, he should go to jail, but get some leniency cause he was basically a slave under Tony. And also would love to see PeteKenta sail...
Now to the main ships, Alan and Jeff were great and their last scenes were adorable together. That NC scene was also top tier, so more of them together please! Either as Alan and Jeff or in another series. I am here for what ever they give us.
I liked Pooh in this series, especially being his first series, he did well. Do I think he needs to improve, absolutely, especially if he remains a ship with Pavel. Cause Pavel showed he can act his ass off in this series. His scene with the Dad was heartbreaking. I hate long crying scenes, especially when their is ugly crying involved, but he delivered every line so well, that I couldn't skip it. His feelings were justified. I just wish the man playing his dad had given a little more emotionally. Cause as a parent, this situation would have driven me insane, and to get the chance to see my child again after all them years, would have had me a wreck right along with him. He just wasn't matching Pavel's energy, you know?
I would like to see Pavel and Pooh in another show, cause they do have chemistry. That ending scene with Babe kissing Charlie was hella cute and it would be good to see them in more of a romcom type showing next. Something less intense.
Overall, I loved this series and I am going to miss it. Especially with the Sign also ending, there is nothing as good going on right now. I look forward to seeing this companies offers in the future.

I loved this, the only thing they got wrong was that K left. Split personalities may come out less and less, especially if the original person is healing from the trauma they suffered, however, they are there for life. The second Ryu Soo Yuel's mind perceives danger or a threat, especially one Yuel doesn't believe he can handle, K is coming out. And let's be honest, Yuel's job means he's going to always need K. Split personalities at there basis, are simply coping mechanisms. And there isn't a human being that doesn't rely on those that we develop naturally or through learned behavior. They would have gotten this all the way, if K had really come back when he found out they had kissed. And if Yuel was just lying about K being gone because he doesn't want anyone using his sanity against him, well I wish that was made clearer.
But overall, I loved this show, and Lee Dong Wook and the rest of the cast.

This show is all over the place and much like the train wreck it is, I cannot look away. I had the same problem with War of Y. Some parts are great and some parts are WTF!? This last episode was that in a nut shell. I don't know how it can go 4 more episodes.
I'm going to say something crazy, but I am like 70% certain Zoeuy is the killer. I know he has been super helpful, but he is the least disturbed out of his twisted little coven of friends, so that must make him the sickest. Cause these dudes are all batshit crazy.
Other than Zoeuy, I actually don't have anyone else in mind as to who the killer is. Like I said, everyone is crazy, so it can literally be any of the rest of them and I would not be surprised.
I will say, that although this is filmed and done and there really is absolutely nothing to be done about it, I am begging someone to take out the English. I'll take them dubbing those parts in Thai, because listening to them struggling to speak unnecessary and out of place English is driving me nuts a little bit. I get that it was popular in Y Destiny, but even that was too much. It's always random and out of place and has zero reason to be spoken. Dear Copy A, please, I beg you, stop it! Just stop it!

You know, I'm giving the guys with zero heroic skills or police/military training some grace on not being able to rescue Kim or the children right away. I see no one is talking about the fact that Way didn't get the documents or help Babe after he was simply pushed down. I kept screaming, at least get the documents out the car while Babe is getting his ass handed to him. Then whack the guy in the head with the bag and run. But no, Way is just standing there looking like a damsel in distress, shocked by all the violence! But then you remember that one is a businessman and the rest are racecar drivers, of course they don't know what they are doing. But they are boys, so away to the rescue with a whole lot of bravery and very little forethought. Did I scream, "take the kids!" when Alan came to rescue Jeff, Of course! But then I thought, and do what with them? If they run across cards, who would be willing to fight or shoot, then the babies were safer where they were until they took down Tony.
I enjoyed the episode. I am dying to see Babe's reaction to Charlie appearing out of no where. After the millionth whack to the head, he probably will think he is dreaming, but next week looks like a great wrap up to a great series.

I don't know it was Gun or the director, but he is turning in a lackluster performance. I kind of felt this wasn't the show for them when they aired the trailer a million years ago, but I had hope, because Not Me was sooooo good. We all KNOW Gun can act, but he must not be feeling this role, cause he is putting very little effort into it. I actually think he was better in Puppy Honey, but I loved Puppy Honey, sans horrible kissing moments. Their chemistry is weirdly still here, and Off is doing great in the role, but Gun is not making any effort what so ever, which a let down. I PRAY that their next series together is better for him. That there is a challenge in the character, so that he can put some effort into it. He is definitely giving, "I just needed a check and to keep my shippers somewhat happy," vibe. And that is too bad, because this could have been somewhat decent.
And although the scene with Dy and Fy was cute as heck, I am not feeling this ship. Both are doing their jobs in the roles, but nope, I cannot sail it. But then again I cannot ship Neo and Mark simply because Mark belongs to EVERYONE. I thought Neo did too, cause he rocked his role as Boston. I loved him with Louis, but that ship seems to have sank, so I guess we are on the hunt for Neo's ship.

How much do I love that not only does Babe fit in Billy's arms so perfectly, but that they Let him. What I mean by that is in a lot of BL's, the intimacy of an embrace is often left out because the ML's seem how to hug like lovers. It's often a hug like a bro. Billy and Babe looked intimate after a scene that was intimate and I really appreciate the actors commitment to the roles/scene.
Second, this show is so well written that even though they pause too long in a scene to make it more dramatic and they also give the "yup, that's what I was thinking too" face or the "How dare the criminals get away with the crimes, I am soooo angry" face too much, I don't care, because I am hooked to both plot lines. I want to know what happened to Chonlathorn in that forest and I want to know how they are going to take down Montree.
I will say, I wish they had showed Ning fight for her life a bit better. She literally watched them change guards, then call some one in, then when that someone rolls up, she is still standing there watching. Only after they start coming into her house does she think to hide the evidence and call someone. No escape plan?! Girl, it's your dang on house, hide at least! And while they may get me, I'm making them hurt before I go. She had feet and legs and did not use them. I know, I know, she was afraid. But she entered into a life of crime, she should have been better prepared for someone to take her out. At least be trained on a gun. It's not like she didn't know what kind of person Montree was. Especially after the other guy was found dead.
Anyway, this show has me on the edge of my seat and not even Manner of Death did that, the only other show I can think of that is close in genre.
I cannot wait until next week.

You know a show isn't good, when you are even skipping the NC scenes. This show is too long, and I never thought I would say that about a BL, but serious, like, let's wrap this up. Nothing really is happening, story/plot wise. Now that I know what happened to Blue, I don't really care about Him and Nail. I maybe would have cared if they had spent maybe last weeks episode clearing the air between Him and Nail. It just needed to be said, after the big deal that Nail made about Him hiding Blue's looking like Nail from him, that Him likes Nail for Nail. About how their personalities are so different, he couldn't possibly be replacing Blue with Nail. So it makes sense WHY Nail goes back to Him.
The Phai and Chao story line could have been dreamy, if only someone had directed Peet to act with any other emotion beside indifference. Like, he doesn't look like he likes ANYONE, so why would I be invested in either ships. If only, when Chao was confessing his love in bed, they had at least showed Phai feeling conflicted and maybe bad for not being able to respond to Chao the way he wanted to. It would go a long way to rooting for that couple. I just want Chao to run away. To pick up his dignity and walkaway from the trainwreck that is Type and Phai. Go cry yourself into your beer for a few days, avoid Phai and find a way to move on. If Phai comes back well then maybe...but seriously, how many ways can Phai say, nope, I'm good, I just want the sex, before Chao catches a clue. Also, on Phai's side, I hate that both Chao and Type are pursuing him so aggressively. The constant stalking/lingering at Phai's job is a huge red flag on both their parts. Then you have the really awful friends saying, wear him down and confess and surely he will be yours. Like, Chao, you have confessed a million times, respect Phai's boundaries and leave that man alone!
As for the straight couple...unfortunately I don't even care about them, because the other two couples have been just awful. I skipped their whole scene together.
I am definitely am hate watching at this point.

On Last Twilight Jan 27, 2024
Title Last Twilight Spoiler
So I loved the ending, but there are parts that would have made that ending perfection. Half of me wanted Day to stay blind, simply because it was more realistic. Or at least have him remain blind for a few years after getting back with Mhok, so that we could see how they adapted after being separated for three years. Both of them would have changed significantly in those three years, and there were a lot of hurt feelings to sort. I wish we had at least gotten a montage with a voice over explaining that what they went through, and showing Mhok trusting Day to take care of himself while also showing Day allow himself to trust Mhok again. THEN have Day get his eye surgery, like 2 years later or something. Because I will admit, I loved the ending of them going back up on the mountain and Day finally getting to see the sunset with Mhok. I also, wanted to see more of maybe some more intimate moments with them after Day got his sight back. I know, I know, time was limited, but I wish we see them adjusting to that new life as well. I am greedy like that. I also would have LOVED if he never got his sight back. And the ending with all those activities together living their lives were done with him being blind and he still goes back up the mountain and we get another "dream" of what Day sees and it's Mhok's face again. That would have melted my heart to pieces!
But I did love the beginning with Mhok walking Day to the car and then revealing himself. I loved the bookstore scene, with all that delicious flirting. What I loved the most is that them reuniting came with very little angst. No animosity or even nervousness being back together then. Mhok just seemed smitten and Day seemed relieved with a dash of reticence because he knew Mhok had to go back. But Day wasn't standoffish, he didn't put distance between him and Mhok, knowing he was leaving. He just enjoyed that time together, even believing they would separate with out being mean, when it would have been so easy for him to put every guard up. I wish they would have explained why Day blocked Mhok on everything for that long. I could see maybe the first few months of being separated, but three years, when you both still love each other is a bit much.
Despite these few things that I wish were tweaked, it didn't take away from the overall perfection this show was. It will be missed, especially because there are hardly any shows out right now that are this well written, acted and directed and those that are will be over soon. I don't know how often I would rewatch this, mostly because it had lots of sad moments, but I have the same trouble with ATOTS and ITSAY, despite them being my favorites, I cannot rewatch a ton. This will probably go on the "When I need to be in all my feelings" list of shows to watch. But this will go on the list of one of the best BLs to date list as well.

This show has it's moments, like Ten/Off and the panic attack. Really well done. I definitely think it could have been better, especially Gun. I think when the director knows how to pull out his talent, he is amazing. He admitted that he was uncomfortable in this role because this was a comedy that he doesn't do alot. I also agree with someone else who said his character isn't that developed, the story is more focused on Ten and his over coming obstacles, then Prem and his struggles. Even the cooking show and his struggles to make it as a chef don't seem that important compared to Ten and his mean dad, dead mom and trauma as a child. So it's hard to get into him as much.
While I do like Fire and Dynamite's story, I don't feel any chemistry between them, so it's hard to ship.
I don't dislike this show at all, but it's probably not going to one I rewatch over and over again.

Also, side note, I need Gun to get better at kissing now that Off isn't afraid to kiss. Like even in Not Me, it bothered me sooo badly he didn't put his hands up on the rooftop kiss. But that kiss scene that was interrupted by the phone call he kept his eyes open for a few seconds too long and his hands down too long. I am hoping that their office romance one shows them with some of the maturity of Not Me, but better delivered since they are finally playing independent grow ups finally.

This would have been a good plot had this been done by anyone who understood storytelling, editing, acting and continuity. Like Why were they in the bathroom with Te in the beginning? Why are either Te or Him at fault for Blue killing himself? It was really just the pressure from his family for being gay and not doing what was expected of him? Why does Te think that if HE was with Blue that it wouldn't have ended up the same way. Blue was a bit to needy with Him, and needed to get a life outside of Him. Why does Te blame Him so badly for Blue's death that he has seek revenge? Like this seems like a, "Dude, I don't rock with you no more, because I think you hurt my friend who killed himself' scenario, not a "I will destroy every thing you love because two of the dudes I like, pick you each time." kind of sitch. Then normally I like Chao, but he got on my nerves this episode and I know he is going to get on it again next episode. Like walk away from Pie. He has told you that he only wants FWB kind of relationship, you have made your feelings crystal clear to the point of stalking and he has given you zero indication he likes you back that way. Leave that man alone. Have some dignity and go find someone else to bother. If he likes you or misses you, let him come to you. Let him miss you sometimes. I also wish that the actor who plays Pie would act with any other emotion other than blank stare. Like in every situation he was in this episode, he should have at least showed annoyance at both Chao and Type, but nope, just staring at them both with zero expression on his face. I really want to walk away from this show, cause now that I know Blue killed himself, I don't know else I'm sticking around for. It looks like next weeks episode is more of the same. Chao annoying Pie and getting rejected repeatedly and not catching the million hints Pie drops that it ain't going happen. Him and Nail being happy for two frames and then something or someone, probably that psychopath, Te, will come and interrupt their happiness. And around and around we go with zero plot or story moving forward.
Maybe I'm sticking around to see how Te get's his comeuppance, but I may have to take a break from this really bad show and binge the rest at 2x speed when it ends.
For those who keep going, God Bless your Nerves to withstand the crap fest that they keep pumping out.
