I need Tap to wake up and realize Ping means more to him than just 'friends'. I like that Ping is respectful of Tap's 'feelings' for Namwan. As far as he knows, his friend likes someone. And instead of trying to get in the way or acting mean toward Namwan, he's just removing himswlf from the situations, for his own sanity but also so his friend can continue to make his moves. Yes, we would all love it if he confessed. And he migbt have worked up the courage had Tap not started to pursue Namwan. Ping is respecting that boundry and I really like that. Now it will have to be up to Tap to hunt Ping down and make him talk. Hopefully, he'll figure out he likes Ping first. I'm on Fah and especially Gear's side this week. I get having a platonic friend who you treated like this pre boyfriend's but in this delicate first part of the relationship, they should both put that on the back burner. Fah is still insecure in this relationship cauae Sher still acts like they aren't together. Of course he wouldn't like someone else behaving like a boyfriend to his guy, when he is barely allowed to. And Gear!! He had a right to be upset, and even more so to express it. Prince should have said, I'm sorry you are uncomfotable, you know our relationship is platonic. I care about your feelings so I will try to tone it down. That was all they really wanted. Gear has been incredibly patient, and Prince has hardly shown he likes Gear. So all them tears at the end don't make sense. I was rooting for them, but Prince irritated me this episode.Next week seems hella messy, so I am here for it!
Someone else said it, but I'll reiterate that if you read the book, you'll understand the story a bit better. The book mostly takes place from Yai's point of view. And it mostly seems that Mangkorn is playing with him, using him for sex. The book also focuses on Yai giving over to the fact that he likes a man, sexually and then emotionally. Its later revealed that Mangkorn also waa on the struggle bus with his feelings. Added with the pressure of having to be engaged against his will, he did some crappy stuff to Yai. But what is missing from this, and what was played sooo well in KinnPorsche is that Mangkorn and Yai cannot resist each other. It shows a bit in the series, like at the skate park. They need to show Mangkorn's feeling better. I imagine he went with Cherry to kind of 'prove' he was still straight and that these new feelings, outside of sex, for a man were some sort of fluke. It would have made better sense if he had seen Yai amd Nine talking and THAT was the reason he hooked up with Cherry, out of jealousy.
Hey, again!Pretty much where I'm sitting on this. The story, social commentary, character development, and worldbuilding…
Hey Friend!! Yes, totally agree! I hope Neo and Louis will finally get to lead as they have proven they can carry a show acting wise, with the right script. AJ did his thing too. I love how GMMTV, mostly (I didn't watch the straight cop goes into drag show, cause ugh!), makes sure to represent the LGBTQ population more responsibly these days.
I loved that this brought important issues like coming out, inclusivity, and mental health issues to the forefront. First and Khaotung and Neo's acting were top tier. Even if the ending scenes were all over the place and super random (why did they have to remove the pins to then put the pins back on again!?)If they had focused more on those above issues and explored them more/deeper, it would have made for a 10/10 show. I want to know what Di wrote in the journal. Was it just his final thoughts, or poems or what? It was treated like it held all the answers to there problems, so what was in it? I wanted a little more about KanThua. Did Thua properly apologize to Kan? I wanted to see Wat get into film school and see his parents support him. I also wanted to see how Akk pays for college now that lost the scholarship. Why did Chadok quit, wjy did he hug the evil homophobic principal like she was his best friend or a family member instead of someone who made his life miserable? Why did ALL the rules change? Is the evil lady no longer principal? She didn't seem the tylento make that many changes that quickly... Overall liked it, especially the chemistry and acting of FirstKhaotung. I hope they get another, happier series together.
I LOVED this episode. The pacing is amazing because it doesn't seem rushed that Sky finally 'gave in' to Pai. Pai was patient, kind and thoughtful amd showed zero expectations. Even the 'punishment' kiss was him teasing Sky and if Sky hadn't done ot of his own free will, I don't believe Pai would have expected it. I loved the scene where he was mad at Sky (justifably, imo), but still helped out. Most people would have left, jist out of annoyance for being scared/worried. But he stayed. And Sky needed to see that. He needed to see that when someone who loves you is mad at you they are still there for you. They still care about you and for you. And the audience needed to see that as well. That he's not some player who is going to use Sky, probably like he has in the past to others. That Sky truly changed him. And Pai changed Sky as well. Allowed him to let downnhos walls. That cleaning scene was his laat effort to push Pai away. And Pai, who is guy who obviously has probably had servents all his life, scrubbed a toilet that wasn't his. Sexiest thing ever! 🤣 No wonder Sky gave up! I loved that this second NC scene was sexy but also sweet at the same time. They both needed that. Sky because his past relationship was violent and chaotic and Pai because his past relationships were probably all pounce and bounce without any emotional connection. They bith got to experience lovemaking in a new way. I am terrified of next weeks episode only because we got tons of fluff and sweetness, the ex has to comeback next week...
The body guards are filling in the space they couldn't add from the book and that was lots and lots of sex. I wish they had kept the sex scene in the bathroom at the party, like they did in the book, cause it would have better explained why Yai then hung out with Mangkorn afterward. But basically, for those who didn't read the book, these two start off sexually attracted to each other, with Yai being really resistant to his feelings mentally but not physically. Mangkorn in the book wasn't this romantic/sweet, he was more like lets be friends with benefits until he caught feelings. Neither or them expects to like each other beyond sex, but they do. I felt it was a tiny bit slow (that back amd forth working/eating scene went on waaay too long) I didn't mind the bodyguards comedy intermission, but it could have been less. Overall though, I am love with Banks pout and Mos' smirk, so I am going to enjoy!
I say it every week and I'll say it again, Santa is acting his tail off! While he sat on the steps the waves of confusion and angst coming off of him was palpable. Cake seeming to not get that, YES, its weird for 2 people, even besties, to be with only each other for life. And that all relationships change over time, whether friends or lovers. I wish his friend had said, its only not weird if you love him and want to be his boyfriend. Cake would have his 'Aha moment', then gay panic in the bar (explains why he got SO drunk) and then that would explain why he asks Eiw to be his boyfriend next week. Cause after all that, hearing Eiw say I don't want to see you anymore, would bring his moment of clarity. Also, I desparately hope they don't kiss in the drunk scene or at least if they do, they show Cake brushing his teeth. I love seeing Earth being this strong, confident Eiw. He is also acting his butt off, but I don't think I have ever been disappointed in him, not even LBC2. I really hope we get more from them both in the future.
Was NOT expectimg Thua to be the 'bad guy' and maybe that is why they did it. He came off as 'don't rock tje boat guy' but I disagree this came ojt of the blue. His character has slowly become one to start standing up for what he wants/feels is right. Was amping up the 'curse' so that it would push the students to take a stand the handled the best, no. It would have been okay, if he had let at least the three students mostly effected by it, in on it, so that they weren't literally afraid all the time. I HATE that he outted Akk and Ayan though. He didn't need to mention their relationship status to protest Ayan covering for Akk. 'I didn't like that Ayan was covering for Akk, it isn't right!' That was all that needed to be said. Akk amd Ayan are always together most people would have assumed it was a friend covering for a friend, especially one who was trying to get a scholarship to college. It makes it worse that Thua is also gay and has been bullied about it. Its still not cool of a straight person did it, but they have added factor of not necessarily knowing the impact doing that has on a persons life. Thua knows directly. Super Dick Move. They needed to have addressed that and the fact Thua should have been worried that Kan was going to be mad/break up with him for all the lies and that Ayan, his friend would be mad at him. He was unfazed at all. Just a little accountability, maybe a 'I'm sorry I did it this way, I didn't know how else to get everyone to be honest', that would suffice. Poor Chadok. That was super sad. But I need clarity. Why did tearing the pages out the journal make Dika kill himself? What was written in the journal that Chadok didn't want anyone to see? Also, that suicide needed to be better. Chadok doesn't go close to the person he loves, despite the fact that it looks like he ia going to jump. Then he doesn't move AT ALL when he sees the person he wanted to marry jump to his death?! And he's standing there crying like someone broke up with him, not like someone who witness not just a a person, which would have been traumatic and devasting all by its self, but the person they love die. Boo on directing that scene. Other thank that, I LOVE First and Khaotungs chemistry and I need more.
I came to say that Fort in that striped shirt should be illegal! I am liking PaiSky's story. Its not boring to me, like some others, its building a story. I do agree that this needs a time skip montage, just something to say it wasn't ONLY the caring for him when he was sick that changed Sky's mind. I mean, its reason enough, but it would be nice to see a significant time frame where Pai does what he promises and waits for Sky. Pai taking care of Sky is a big deal. Most people wouldn't do it at all, let alone for as long as Pai did it. Especially not a man who is an executive in his company where that length of time off could mean money lost. I think Sky saw that Pai literally put his life on hold for him when there are bonafide partners who would do less. Pai did all that without any guarentee of returned affection and showed, Sky especially, how committed he was to giving up his playboy ways. I HATE that MAME repeated makes SA a thing guys do just cause they are horny. I need her to find a better way to convey that, yes, Pai wants Sky physically, but that doesn't mean he will be so worked up he has to restrain himself so obviously. The only thing those couple of scenes served was to show Sky realizing that although Pai COULD do something to him, Pai WON'T do anything. Sky's previous relationship seems to have been a sex for 'services' kind, where in the boyfriend made it seem lile Sky owed him for whatever and had to pay it back with his body. Heartbreaking that Sky was brainwashed to believe that. I am looking forward to next week, despite the bad editing. What in the world, its like they had 2 different teams for each story. Which could be, they may have filmed at they same time. That is unfortunate, cause between the sound, the editing and the camera work (we were NOT supposed to see their pants during the NC scene), its definitely making Love Sky not as good a story as Love Storm. And that is a shame. Also, I truly believe that NOTHING is going to beat the chemistry of BossNoelle, so if you let that go, the story gets better. Boss and Noelle admitted to 'clicking' before they even knew they were cast. Plus, they practiced skinship til they were comfortable with each other and that makes soooo kich sense as to why they are so good on camera. Look at all the skinship MewGulf did (before they ghosted each other and us) MaxTul, BillySeng, ZeeNunew, MosBank (their vlog is full of them just being comfortable in each others space, its a delight, I encourage everyone to watch their old eps, if you haven't, its a great travel vlog). Best example of how skinship before/during filming helps on screen chemistry is the workshop with MileApo. They were sooo intimate off screen and that translated beautifully on screen.
Man this show is great. Amazing acting by all, it never fails. That reunion! The way both Santa and Earth convey so many emotions without saying anything is just... chef's kiss! Especially Santa who is still new in the industry. I love seeing jealous Cake and thriving confident See Eiw. I love that See Eiw did not go back to depending on Cake to be social or for support but that Cake did go back to being clingy and needy of See Eiw because he missed that in America. One could have said that he used See Eiw all that time, relying on him to wake him up and do his homework, and its not really wrong, but mostly I think both took care of each other in their ways. It was their love language, so to speak. Which leads us to next week. See Eiw no longer needs Cake in the ways he did before, so of course Cake is going to feel some type of way about it. I need Tal to either step up his game (man he had 4 uninterrupted Cake free years to make a move, what took him so long!?!) or get out of Cake's way. I am here for See Eiw dating someone else even for a tiny bit if only to face his feeling for Cake (realize they did not leave) and finally confess.
I need more!!! So much cutest! The only way that ending would have been better is if after they crashed head Amagi was the one to sneak attack kiss Takara. It would have showed he finally accepted that his feelings are just as strong as Takara's. Otherwise, no complaints. I do want to know if Tanaka had feelings for Takara?
I finally managed to watch the last episodes(I had to put it on pause for a few weeks) and agree with you. It…
Yes, agree. These young folk have no clue how far entertainment has come. I LOVE Jenny. She was amazing in 3 Will Be Free and she needs more serious roles given to her. Have you seen Love, Victor or The Royals? Those are great. Another great show is Elite! Talk about MESSY!!!
This last episode for the War of the Managers makes me mad! Bew finished the game Toon, Pla and Gus started and he won and he's supposed to be the bad guy? It was fine for them to hurt him and each other, but when he did it the best, he should give up everything he dreamed of?! What shit is this!?! The least dickish was Gus, cause I can kind of chalk up his tricking Bew to being naive and following Pla's orders and also liking Bew so much he just went with it. After that he didn't do anything bad. But MAN the NERVE of Pla and Toon to act like they had a leg to stand on. Especially Toon! What GOOD mother drugs her child and has him give his body to someone for the sake of HER wallet?! And what she did to Gus with the brownie is literally attempted murder cause she KNEW he had an allergy. WTF! It might have not being as infuriating if Pla, Toon and Gus EVER apologized to Bew when he was calling them out, but they didn't even look guilty. Gah! Frustrated, cause seeing Bew hug Toon like it was all good made me want to throw up! I feel it now, the rest if the stories are going to piss me off, I feel it! As badly as I wanted a ToruFirst story, I knew from the trailer it was going to be not what I wanted, but after seeing these last 2 story block, I just KNOW its going to piss me off. Don't get me wrong, the stories are good, I never know where the plot is going, but MAN that ending SUCKED! bew gaslight to think he was the bad guy! If he told his fan club WHY he did those things to Toon and Pla they would understand. Arrgghhh!
Reading the book helped me understand where both of them are, especially Yai, headspace wise. Both are jerks, who are used to getting what they want, so that scene makes better sense. Where did anyone get mafia though? The trailer did not give mafia. It gave too guys who hate each other and one of them tries to record the other while doing something to him, gets caught and then blackmail happens. So they fall in love. Exactly what the first episode gave us. It can't all be KinnPorsche folks. And I really wouldn't want it to be. Yai is a spoiled brat, you are legit supposed to hate him at first. Magkorn is no better. He is a dick as well. Its a classic enemies to lovers plot. So far its lived up to the trailer for me. I wish the sex scene hadn't been as choppy. I get they were trying to demonstrate the frantic nature of the drug and having read the book, it was an intense night but it made it less intense, if you know what I mean. Glad to see Mos and Isbanky's off screen chemistry translates on screen well. I love their blog together and they have amazing off screen chemistry, so I have high hopes for their intimate/love scenes. Not necessarily sex scenes, but the scenes where they are falling in love. Not sure why everyone is complaining, though. This is going to be hella messy and I am glad cause we need to balance out the fluffy stuff sometimes. I just hope they add Isbanky's Dancing With The Devil to Spotify, cause his voice is amazing!
That goodbye was tough, boy! Earth is an amazing actor, watching him literally gather his brave to kiss Cake on the cheek was brillant. His emotions were all over the place and you could see it in his eyes and facial expression. So glad Fee got See Eiw to break out of his shell and learn to just try stuff and have fun. Santa's smile is too much already and then they glowed him up...sheesh!! Love that their older selves look so much like themselves in real life. I really wish next week was here already!!
