Liked the ending for Pan and Nott, but I wanted more of them and less of the whole controversy. I needed to know how Pan amd Nott got back together and are now out and proud apparently. That is way more important. Also Santa and Earth being in this was awesome! Now I expect more BL couples! Also, I need them to stop putting poor Seng in anything thicker than a tshirt and shorts. I get it doesn't fit his character, but he is obviously a heavy sweater, so putting him in a sweatshirt with a coat over top is nuts. He literally sweated though a thick sweatshirt. Poor Seng!
The way I was triggered by the bath scene. Phew. Glad they had fun this time around. I knew Earth would cry this series, probably alot. He does it well, cause that ending scene was painful. I NEED him to get some space from Cake, for his own well being. And also to teach Cake that he cannot take Eiw foregranted. I hope Sand cones in and gives Eiwvsome much needed confidence.
Leave it to MAME to add some kink to the BL world. (Not counting Unforgotten Night cause it was done so poorly it doesn't count). Phayu is giving Daddy/Dom vibes (Daddy Boss is right!) with Rain submitting nicely. I like that its not hitting us over the head with it, at least not yet. But man are they delivering. Boss is literally killing me. This dude looks like Bible and Build had a baby but has that effortless sex appeal of Boun. Yeesh! Also the chemistry between Boss and Noeul (on and off screen) is chef's kiss. This episode was a bit slow, though. Lots of lingering scenes that could have been cut sooner like they were filling in time. Not sure what the purpose of Sig is? Can't be comic relief as Rain is pretty goofy by himself. Just seems a waste of the actor's talent, especially since he wasn't really introduced as anyone. He's just there in the background cutting up. I wonder when we get the second couple? I am looking forward to them
Danil is an excellent bad guy cause I hate him. Why were we given a gratutious shower scene for a guy we are supposed to hate? It wasn't sexy it was just weird. Also, this shows obsession with wasting water is next level! Too many questions left for a drama filled last episode. 1) What was the point of showing Baiboon and Khom? Are we getting a second season? I only say yes to that if they have one hell of a workshop (for goodness sakes, they aren't even kissing cheeks well. Yoon acts like he's going to get cooties. If he comes back, I need full commitment to being in a BL. Kiss your MFing lead!) I would love to see what Khom and Baiboon go through in their love story. I don't necessarily need Kamol and Kim. 2) Why did Cherry shoot at them? Danai suddenly disappeared from harassimg Kamol but send Cherry, who cannot be a good shot, to kill Kim? Huh?! 3) Where did Danai go? He was like in every episode, until Danil came. I guess they cannot have 2 bad guys in one episode. 4) Why did they act like getting shot at wasn't that big a deal? Where were the guards? Literally Kim could go pee with out someone following him, but he goes to get Baiboon and no is there to be found? Huh? Why didn't Kamol freak out more? 5) Ya'll (Kim and Baiboon) acting like you didn't see Cherry when you stared at her in her brightly colored eye catching scarf? 6) I get why Kamol is upset that Kim and De used to be together. Its not that Kim has a past, but its with someone who is close to him. Someone who he still regards as a friend. Its been evident that his body guards are people who are privy to some intimate parts of his life, so I can see how he would be upset about that connection. But why not just ask Kim directly and talk it out? Too much, huh? Well it is episode 11. 7) Why was Danil allowed to stay in that house acting like that? If it was a family house, which would be the only reason Danil would have the run of the house like he was acting, why didn't Evan stay there too? Why didn't Kamol pimp slap Danil everytime he touched Kim? Again where were the body guards?! 8) Danil threatened your friends and family Kim and you did nothing!?!?! There are a million more questions but I am not hopeful we will get the answers we seek. I'm still here for the drama. Danil's over the top performance was the stuff of soap opera dreams!
I really liked this series. I like that we got three love stories out of this. One BL, one het and one Phi-Nong. I wasn't expecting the Phi-Nong relationship but it was a refreshing plot twist. I am usually bored when they have a het couple in a BL, but I was invested and rooting for them this time. It was so cute everytime Toy would do that goofy grin! I also appreciated the focus on the realities for everyone in a family when their loved one is gay. The Uncle being estranged from his father but helping to raise his nephew. Guiding his sister through her concerns for her coming out son. I loved her depiction of a mother who goes through the process of their child coming out. Often times, the parent either objects violently or there is a blanket acceptance. Rarely do you see a parent with genuine real life concerns but not doing any emotional or physical harm to their child. She just wanted to protect him and even her misguided attempts to kind of slow down X and Q's progress were obviously done from a place of love and not selfishness. I loved that. As a parent the amount of worries come from the second you know you are having a child is something they don't tell you. She just wanted him to be happy and her working through changing her ideals to make sure she was able to support him was beautiful to watch. I will say it was weird to have the Uncle kind of be inappropriate with X. It was just because he was gay he would feel up a cute boy?! It made no sense for him to feed the water to him or touch X at all. If they needed a jealousy scene they should have done another one with Mook cause that was the only person it made sense to do it with. I loved the development of the BL couple but I wanted, nay, needed more from their ending. They needed to add 3-5 more minutes to this drama, and have them meet at the airport and say their 'I'm sorrys' and their 'wait for me's. It wouldn't have taken much and its all this story really needed. Or a quick montage of them exchanging messages and phone calls during the 2 months, so that when X came back, him giving Q the bracelet and asking for a kiss would have made perfect sense and would have made the story complete. I hope we get a special episode with them, just to really wrap it up. But overall, I liked it. It was a good show to binge.
Welp, I wanted more. It had so much potential. I actually think Chahub is a good actor. That scene where his mom dies was a heartbreaker and he delivered it well. I'll admit to skipping Best's crying scene. That was...well maybe in his next workshop someone will work with him on how to cry. The kiss scene with Tee and Ice was hot. Really wish we had had them for more tha a few minutes. But I am glad Ice was like I gots to go. And Tee following Ice was weird cause other than kissing him back, Ice gave not indication he liked Tee. Plus, who just ups and leaves their business for who knows how long for a maybe?! If they had shown Ice's letter showing any kind of regret tbey could be together, maybe. But Ice was literally like good luck romantically but not it! They should of had 5 minutes of Nine explaining to Dao what really happened, Dao apologize for jumping to conclusions and then a lot more scenes of them making up and living their lives together along with more screen time for TeeIce. No need for Candy and Boat. Although they were funny during the ridiculous labor scene. The only thing they got right was the amount a fluid that comes out when your water breaks. I also wish they had shown Dao at his new job, thriving in a new environment. I felt really bad for that baby at the end. If that was the best they could show, that baby was tortured during the shoot. They could have easily waited for her to fall asleep and shown them holding her and looking on her with love. All in all, not the worst show I've seen (That honor still goes to Bite Me) but it could have been sooo much better!
I think Earth is perfect for the role of See-Eiw. I think his character is supposed to be whiny at this stage. He is an introvert who is socially awkward except with his best friend, who he is losing to normal life changes. He isn't adapting well (I literally begged him to leave Cake to pack his own bag and go home) and he keeps clinging to Cake in hopes that the changes he sees coming are temporary. Who doesn't whine when their closest person isn't doing what they expect? Especially someone lile Eiw who is emotionally under developed. I am so excited for next week with the introduction of another character. I hope this new dude shows Eiw that he cannot wait around for Cake forever and they have to start adjusting. Side note: as always, Santa's smile is killer! Also, the way he looks at Earth in real life is transfering to this series and I am here for it!
I like this series more than most it seems. I don't think the ads are any more blantant than other series (although admittedly, this last episide was ad heavy), you just enjoyed the story more, so it wasn't as bothersome. I think the reason that Talay couldn't admit that Tun is his portkey is mainly because the signs they were supposed to have when you found your portkey haven't happened for them. They are supposed to be having dreams of each other or something to do with dreams and they haven't shown that. Also, they haven't gone back yet even though they spend all their time together. I can see why he didn't think Tun was his portkey. They never said how long after you find your portkey does it take to go back? Also, do you always fall in love with your portkey? Talay was like, I know I love him but that doesn't necessarily make him my portkey. Now it would be awesome if the writers clarified the whole pirtkey process, at least for the watchers, so we get to see the signs, even if Tun and Talay don't see them. It would build the tension and mystery of them getting back. I will say while I like the acting Jimmy and Sea both need to take crying lessons, cause that ending didn't hit for me like it should have. That being said, I like the story and the pace. Yes, it would nice if we got to see more differences in this parallel universe, but I guess now they are focusing on the mains story and their developing/on going feelings. Hoping they get back soon though, cause it would nice to see how they navigate being back in their old lives, see how much its changed how they will meet up again since they won't recognize each other at first. Also, I want to see how the real Tun and Tess do once they get back in their lives, will they make up now that their world views them as at least best friends? Hope we get to see that.
Sigh...MAME loves to recycle bits, doesn't she? That bathroom scene was a knock off of TharnType's season 1 bathroom scene. Only difference is MAME didn't go as far as a whole sexual act this time instead of just sexual harassment. I will admit, Boss and Noeul have amazing chemistry. But I want to know was that sniff kissing or camera angles kissing, cause it didn't look like Payu landed one kiss on the neck... Not sure how I feel about the whole' You called me stupid a few times, so I'm going to make you like me' device. It would have been better to have them keep running into each other, Payu keeps being all sexy (cause Lawd. that is what he is!) and Rain realizing he likes Payu, or is at least sexually attracted to him. The whole 'stupid' thing is kind of illogical. Rain is mad enough at Payu to endanger his life by going to an illegal street race but his revenge is going to be openly hitting on Payu?! Huh? Sky is adorable and I am looking forward to his story getting started.
I like this better than I thought I would, but an 8.7? Really? What makes this work for me are Rain & Sky. Rain…
I rolled my eyes at the underwear bit. There have to be several men on set who could have advised her to change that bit. Cause who needs a penis size joke anyway?
All 4 episodes in Gagaoolala with the text/social media translated. The show was already amazing but having the context of those messages makes it even better. Rewatched them and those messages explain so much for Pan's behavior.
Holy Moly, what a roller coaster of emotions. BillySeng are killing it. That break up scene! Sheesh, the pain in Billy's eyes. Watching Pan implode and then explode all the things around him. Its true what they say, hurt people, hurt people. I know what happens in the entertainment industry and how absolutely disgusting it is behind the scenes, but seeing all Pan had been forced to do, gosh that sucked the big one. And I think the most painful part is that Pan didn't start in the entertainment industry cause a dream, he did it to support his family. I think it later became a dream when he had already sacrificed so much. Imagine going through all of that for your family and having them reject you for it. Ugh! It probably became a dream because he finally was receiving the love and attention he craved (I don't think he got it from his family cause of how she didn't seem to care about him at all) from his fans. He didn't even really recognize true love from Nott when he received it. I truly believe that Nott slept around in the beginning because he didn't think he could have Pan, that Pan was never going to take him seriously. It wasn't until Pan sought him out for that first booty call, that he thought he might have a chance. I don't know what to make of Nott sleeping with Fang/Pharoah other than it happened when their relationship was still open and it probably didn't mean anything. I want to know if Gus and Bew were instructed by their management to lie about Pan's behavior so that Pan will join their team. It's the only thing that makes sense. Also, what was the purpose of showing Dew's reaction to the scandal? Hopefully they will explain next week.
The sex scenes in this series could have given the BL fans something those with of us who would like to see healthy mature adults have realistic and consenual but tasteful sex. Someone get P'Aoft from Domundi and MAME (as problematic as she is when she isn't pushing nonconsent, her sex scenes are lit) to run a workshop or 3. Aoft could teach them how to tongue kiss (that throuple scene needed at least 2 P'Zee kisses to make it better) and MAME for finding other creative spaces for sex than the shower. Jesus Wept how much water are they going to waste!!! Side Note, that wimpy showerhead was already struggling to pour water out and we are supposed to believe it held up against the pounding of a life time?! On a positive note, at least they made some progress in the relationship...sort of. Not sure why Kim kept refusing to sleep with Kamol (unrealistic as a 20something male who discovers a new kink about himself he would begging Kamol to do all the things now that he obviously trusts him). My theory is that Kim was edging Kamol so that when he finally gave in Kamol would go crazy on him. Despite a BDSM BL with the worst sex scenes, I am here for the cheesy drama. Danai is a bastard cause he made me feel sorry for Cherry. Danil looks super unhinged, next weeks gonna be nuts.
Man, what this show is doing is something amazing and I am here for it. The complexity of feelings. Pan slowly giving into his feeling for Nott, but also still pursuing his dream to fulfill his promise to his parents of making money despite the fact they abandoned him for doing BLs even though he did it for them. Pan actually being gay and in love (he ain't admit it yet, but they fact that he never shies away from Nott's touch says everything about how he feels) but being rejected by his family for being in gay content is so heavy. ( All the text were to his Mom and she never replied until he said he was there. She asked him not to come because she was embarassed of him, which is why he broke down) (It was later revealed in the text that she sent him with P'Koon to get into the entertainment industry to make money to support the family) We all know that some idols get into BLs to launch their careers, but never think about what they go through to even do that. And then all the backlash that comes from making that decision. I will say that while I understand Pan's sense of betrayal at the end, I seriously thought he was going to do that and worse to Nott. I figured the end of their section would be Pan choosing his career over Nott and they are both left shattered. No happy ending, cause how. And I totally understand why Nott signed with TTV. Pan didn't tell Nott about all those secret meetings I don't think. And Nott asked him to stay a shipped/real life couple. Pan said they couldn't stay together always and I think when they showed Nott laying on the bed, seemingly staring into space, was when he made up his mind to sign the contract. Cause Pan did not choose him. Nott even said I love you and Pan didn't reply. Nott had to look out for himself. Pan didn't seem to care/think what Nott would do if Pan did get that contract, so I am not mad at Nott for this move. I am sad for Pan cause I don't think he can see how he's a hypocrite in this scenario and how his choices may lose him the one person who will stand beside him. Does anyone know WHY Pan hate Pharoah? I mean he is just outrageously mean to him and I need backstory! 😂
Nice to see you here, and completely agree.Chin's daddy be acting like he twelve sending him them heart emojis.…
Hey Lenny, good to see you here as well! Yes that ending for Pat would have been perfect and would have done his character justice. He was so good and didn't deserve that half ass ending.
I liked most of this episode. The drama is back with a vengence and I am here for it. That NC scene was great. Only thing that would have made it better is instead of showing them in their draws again, just pulling the covers up and pretending they finally got naked. That's more realistic that believing they stayed clothed for so long do that kind of foreplay. I thought the go cart/grocery shopping scenes were cute. It was the 'we are enjoying our relationship before someone comes and ruin it' scene. The main leads are blishfully happy, getting to know each other better, sharing some past pain. Of course something is coming along to ruin it, its episode 11! I will admit Dao running off just before confronting Nine made me roll my eyes, but I guess this would be a drama with out over the top reaction that could have been prevented had he just asked Top ( the always amazing Plustor), 'And when was the last time ya'll benefitted?!' I felt so bad for Tee's date. Tee could have just been like, 'I am not ready for this, I apologize for wasting your time, it was nice to meet you but lets never see each other again.' He just had that man sitting there trying to hold a conversation while Tee stared in space. Glad that Tee is starting to relaize he has feelings for Ice, but its kind of late...what in the world could they do with one episode left?! The Boat Candy scene would have been cute if they didn't act like Boat was always attacking Candy and Candy never wants to be kissed by her boyfriend. Its weird and makes the scenes ackward. Nice to see Khao Yai again, except for that ridiculous baby bump. She's still funny though. Here's hoping theblast episode is drama filled but with resolutions to that drama.
This episode was a bit slow, though. Lots of lingering scenes that could have been cut sooner like they were filling in time. Not sure what the purpose of Sig is? Too many questions left for a drama filled last episode.
1) What was the point of showing Baiboon and Khom? Are we getting a second season?
