I love the drama but demands perseverance. . Every going backward and forwards is related to a traumatic incident…
I got that it was related to trauma but the pacing was off nevertheless. I finally watched the finale and I think it elevates the drama as it is really wholesome. I felt happy in the end. I really loved the main leads. The acting was great too. 10 episodes would have been better though.
After watching the finale I just say that I am glad I did. The ending - although a bit rushed and fairytalelike - it is quite satisfiing. And the cinematography was beautiful. If they cut the middle part of the drama shorter with less side stories, it would have been great. I loved the acting very much too.
I must confess that I enjoyed the story up to episode 12. But I agree that the last two episodes have too many…
I haven't had the time to rewatch a kdrama too tbh. But some american and british shows (especially comedies) I tended to rewatch from time to time. But kdramaland is a land that never ceases to give...so it's hard to rewatch older stuff but I definetily will at some point.
I haven't watched the last too episodes yet cause there are too many other shows that are more interesting for me. Unfortunately this one started so great. LSY is a fantastic actress and NIW surprised me positively in this drama. They had tons of chemistry. I also liked the cinematography, the premise, the support cast . It's just that the story puts obstacle on obstacle for the main couple without ever truly resolving anything. It's really exhausting after episode 8. I guess I will watch the finale sometime but the drama has serious script issues. It's like they had all the right ingridients for a delicious meal and added too much salt.
In my opinion, the story of Ko Jun and his younger brother is the best part of this series. It portrays how Ko…
I liked that part of the story too. But it kinda refocused the story. The trailer promoted a drama about lovers getting a second chance but in the end not one of the characters really got one. The second couple maybe. Jun died before he really got a chance to live his own life and the main couple didn't have a first chance so they had to start completely from scratch because their first encounter didn't turn out to be that intense or long.
I was glad to see Lee Jun Young shine in this drama, doing so well after Impossible Heir, which I strongly disliked.…
I agree with you. But I worked in the entertainment industry myself and almost everyone smokes. So it's kind of realistic to show them smoking. It also underlines their need to hold on to something since they are indeed portrayed as lonely thirty-somethings trying to make a living.
More than the main couple's story, it is the brotherhood portrayed in this series that broke and touched my heart.…
That's what I thought too. It wasn't really about second chances for the main couple since they didn't become a couple in the past. There was just that kiss and then ML dissapeared. They only get to know each other the second time around. At least they didn't use the child connection trope. Lol I also agree on the chemistry. It's more like they are buddies.
Well, now I have to say I dislike how the plot turned out just 2 episodes before the ending. How I was cheering…
I must confess that I enjoyed the story up to episode 12. But I agree that the last two episodes have too many plot holes (phone, policelike behaviour of the space crew) an unnecessary side arc with Eves birthmother and - I must admit- bad acting in LMHs case (crying scene especially. It also was quite apparent after seeing Lee Jun Young in Melo movie literally killing his crying scene in comparision). I will watch the finale but I guess it won't be a show I will rewatch in the future. It's a shame cause I liked it a lot so far.

Thank you. I think it's only in the last two episodes that the viewers get to know the whole story. Before you couldn't sympathise that much because it wasn't clear what the problem really was. In the end they were and weren't both to blame. I loved the second couple way more than the nain couple because they had better chemistry and a more realistic relationship while I had probblems believing the story of the first couple. I mean... why didn't the ML tell the FL what happened to him. I can't believe someone would let the other side keep on guessing.
I have been thinking so hard why si jun and ju a (the second lead) not being end up together again, although we…
They dated since high school and the girl kinda lost herself in the relationship. For her Si Jun was her whole world. She believed in him and wanted him to be happy while not paying attention to her own needs. He was kinda oblivious to that but trying so hard to prove himself to her. In the end they realize that they have to find themeselves first. Their last scene suggest that they still care deeply for each other and also still have feelings. Otherwise they wouldn't avoid their company yet still look for the other one secretly. I think they'll make it in the future. As Si Jun tells her in the park before they part ways for the second time, he truly doesn't want to be without her. That scene was really heartbreaking. But in the end they achieved things apart from each other and so they could start fresh.
The relationship is very realistic. Sometimes couples grow apart. But many of my friends went back together when the time was better. There's something specual about first love. But you need experiences apart as well.
I really liked this show. It had an exceptional cast and a heartwarming story. Lee Jun Young is killing it here. I wish they would have chosen a less open ending for his character though. The story of the second couple was very realistic and a happy ending would have been possible. I really loved the jolly director too. He was really funny.

I loved Esther btw - I wish her part was bigger.
