For a while I've been looking forward to the scene where JH will find out his father caused the death of DS's…
I doubt that JW will turn evil. The preview may be misleading. But if he turns evil that would be a case of character assassination since the development would feel too fast. Heartbreak can be devastating but I doubt that he'll become a real villain. That wouldn't fit the tone of the story I hope the 4 friends remind themselves of their friendship and turn the old men down. That would be fitting.
The show is bringing nothing new to the table but the plot stays engaging somehow and I agree that the score is amazing - one of the best I´ve heard in a kdrama. I hope that the SML doesn´t turn "evil". Same for Ko Sura. But maybe they just omitted something again that they reveal in the next episode.
I´m still thinking it´s hilarious that the prince JUST found out because she told him. LOL The amount of time is going against the cliche in this show. I think the chemistry is good now between the MLs but the kiss scene was lacking. I would have loved it though if the SML would have gotten her. The actors had better chemistry from the beginning.
BTW - I love the wife of the minister... especially her chats with her hubby. LOL
I'm watching it because I have liked Gong Hyo-jin since When the Camelia Blooms, but the writing isn't getting…
I liked When the Camelia Blooms too. Her role is so interesting in it and the way she navigates her life with a no-nonsense attitude. It's so funny that Oh Jung Se bothered her as well in it although in a completely different way. Kang Ha Neul is splendid too.
I think the pace slowed down a lot in episode 6. But maybe that's just me. I love the show though and will complete…
Yes, of course. IMO the episode was very calm and nothing really happened except the two leads not knowing how to solve their complicated relationship. In other episodes there was more story regarding their work, past and the other people inthe town and less conversations. But it´s okay for me since the leads finally decided that they wanted to be together. That was beautifully done.
I go to read these comments for fun, I go to the comments of dramas that I like and laugh at those who write bad…
I do both. LOL I think it´s interesting what others think and sometimes if a drama is really bad reviewed, I try some episodes to see if they are right. I think everything rated 7,5 till 8,0 is up to taste. But dramas rated below 7.5 are almost always as messy as people say they are. But that´s just the case for me. Could be different for others.
Lee Min Ho has a unique charisma and on-screen presence. All of his movies are captivating. For a wide audience,…
I beg to differ. Even Hollywoodstars have to bow out to the director and the producer who funds the movie if the wishes differ. Of course they check the chemistry between actors in test shoots.
I really like the story so far although I could have lived without the background story regarding FLs father and MLs mother. It's a bit too much IMO. The trauma from her beeing mixraced and unfairly scolded by the villagers would have been enough. Also the thing with the rings and grandfathers last wish felt too dramatic. I really love the main characters though. They feel like real people. The FL is excellent. She's fierce and strong despite her trauma. The actress is playing her very convincingly. I loved episodes1-5. I think the pace was a bit too slow in episode 6 but the end was beautiful. I hope Kang Hee can heal now.
I find myself thoroughly enjoying the drama—it's a solid 9/10 for me so far. That said, one particular moment…
That's exactly what I thought. Why is beeing a single parent beeing such a stigma still. It's kinda sad really. And probably another reason why the birthrate is so damn low.
Let’s talk about the preview for ep 9. Eunho visits her fathers grave because they’ll reveal a childhood connection.…
I think that this is where the plot is heading too. It's unoriginal though. I would have loved if there wasn't a past connection at all. I mean... people can fall in love with someone they never met before. It's funny that this happens to be a groundbreaking thought in kdramaland while it's pretty much the standard situation in western television and movies. I hope they won't include the return of the childs mother at the most unconvenient moment. I'd love more emphasis on how Eun Ho gets his reputation back regarding his former profession. Maybe FL could help him there. Somehow their work relationship should alter. I also would love more screentime for the second couple. I'd love it if the SML stands up to his father.
