They get officially together at ep 25 but their love story starts very early on. It's beautifuĺly told with lots of cute and heartbreaking moments.

I watched it at the same time. It's a bit fluffier than this one although there are high stakes too. But there's much more comic relief and a lot of pep talk too.

I actually liked that she dated others. That's normal and healthy regarding the way ChenYi left her. I wish he would have dated too. That doesn't take away their devotion for each other.

This probably became my second fave cdrama this year. With POJ beeing my fave this tops the modern genre for me. The couple was heartbreaking abd heartwarming at the same time. And I am happy to say that SWL was perfectly cast in this role. I couldn't finish Shine on me because he felt so stiff in it and the story had basically no stakes. I tried several times. But now I think it was badically the script and probably his role. He's a good actor.

Oh.. ok. I get that. But in my opinion the romance is still the biggest plot out of several others. I think it feels more like an ensemble drama like f.e. Love for you which concentrates mostly on the leads. But I'd say 60 percent is still romance.

IMO there has been enough romance in the show so far. It's clear that thry like each other but circumstance prevented them from getting together. The romance isn't the only arc here. It's interwoven with the other plots. Unlike many others here I think this dramas strong point is that there's more than one plot and the sude characters get their spotlight from time to time. It's more like western dramas are built and has an episodic feel sometimes rather than feeling like a long book.

Really? I think that's a compliment. He looks younger of course.

The soccer player who is kinda mean and kind of an outsider so far really reminds me of Park Hyung Sik at times.

This was one of the few times a show made me cry this year when they said goodbye to the coach. So heartwarming.

I liked Doctor on the edge. He played a great ML with an endearing personality. It may not be anyonea taste but I enjoyed every episode.

Although it turned really serious in the middle this drama featured many scenes where I had to really laugh out loud. The medical background was well executed, the two couples had great chemistry. The ending stuck the landing and regained the well needed humorous tone. My only complaint was the underutilization of the SML as well as the bee scene which gets my award for the most annoying kdrama scene of this decade. Lol

Ok...after episode 5 I think I thought too highly of Kim Minhas ex boyfriend. He's indeed a douchebag and a little revenge doesn't hurt;-)

At least the ML is a good ex husband. How refreshing.
And ... for a kdrama a ML with a former relationship is completely new territory. I love it!

I didn't catch that. That's indeed a bit shitty but kneeling and begging in front of strangers kinda is shitty too. You don't force a relationship like this.

I am really enjoying this so far. Contrary to popular opinion here I think that Kang Minhas ex did nothing wrong. Developing feelings for someone and telling it before anything happened is very mature IMO. Feelings can change. There's nothing to be done about it. So I feel sad for SFL. But I' ve seen it many times in my private life that new life sections can change someone a lot and former relationships don't always grow in the same direction. That's life.
But that's just my two cents. Feel free to disagree.

I'm really having a good time with thus show. I laughed out loud at least once per episode...a thing that doesn't happen often. But the bee-scene is something to be never talked about again.

I haven't seen the last episode but it sounds like it's worth the wait...slapping the douchbags, jealousy and all. Lol

This looks like it's trying some new things. Nam Jo Hyuk is always welcome. I'll check this out. I also liked Dear Hongrang a lot which looked equally dark snd kinda unusual for a kdrama.

Everything with Lee Junho in it is at least a good watch. I will definetily check it out and hope for a grey character. It's great he's choosing fantasy. That's new territory for him.

Definetily one of the most entertaining and bold asian shows I've watched. It's a gem.

I really like this drama. I'm a big fan of the Zhou Yiran. He played in many of my favourite cdramas. I loved Reborn and 12 letters. It's my first time seeing him in a cosrume drama. The other actors are good too. I also love the color setting. My only critic so far is the pacing if the first two episodes. Imo too much is introduced at once and I felt like beeing on a rollercoaster. But in episode 3 with the exposition done it gets really good. The main couple has amazing chemistry. The two ministers are great trying to outsmart each other and the little king is hilarious. I also think that the villain ex does a great job. I am eagerly awaiting the next episode.
The story is nothing new tbh but it's an entertaining watch nonetheless.
