I did and honestly hated it. I forgot most of it now. I still remember the FL wishing the death of any other woman who catches the attention of ML (or something along these lines). I have watched over 50 kdramas and this one is among the lowest I rated.

I gave up after 12 eps. I really really wanted to like it. It has all the elements I usually love and I like the lead actors. But they honestly failed to convince me of their process of falling in love. According to the drama they are in love within practically a couple of weeks after meeting. These are gods who live for hundreds of years. I get that they sacrifice so much for each other later. I just don't understand why they fell in love in such a short time. The FL is adorable and brave, but the ML who lived for hundreds of thousands of years barely knew her before he was seemingly in love. It's honestly unbelievable. They are very cute together, I just didn't find the chemistry strong enough nor convincing

Fair enough! I am glad he improved than before. I like it when actors work hard on their performance. I thought he really managed to convey the difference in expression and transition in his role exceptionally well

He was actually the best actor in the drama hands down!

What the hell, did I watch a different drama? I don't know Taecyeon before he acting was amazingly well done. On the other hand as a fan of Joong Ki, his acting was really flat in this one. He actually admitted himself that he is disappointing with his acting performance.

I dropped after 2eps. The FL is really unlikable and immature. The FL acts like a ten year old. I get that it's the premise of the drama but you can still have a character that has bad reputation without it being cartoonish in childishness (for example the FL in The Legends). Also, there is no chemistry between the leads. Their kisses are open eyed fish kisses too.

For suspect and romance with great chemistry I highly recommend Maiden Holmes.

It has a very happy ending too. Which is pretty rare in costume chinese dramas! A real happy ending

I just finished this. I really liked it and loved the characters. The script has several shortcomings but this is really an above average drama. If you are coming to it with very high expectations you may be disappointed, but if you are more open minded about it you are likely to love it too.

The male lead is really different than your average ML and the same with the FL. They have a different dynamic than other drama couples but they pull it off nicely.

Song mian was a solid character. But I don't understand people who are pissed at his end. They literally foreshadowed it multiple times throughout the drama that one day he will die for her. Also how could they ever end up together when he is married to a saint of a woman and the FL friend to boot. I get he couldn't help falling for the FL but I honestly hated him for loving someone other than his amazing wife.

The actual ML character is far more suited to the FL than Song Mian. They are a much better match

Such an underrated drama! It's one of my all time favourites now. Amazing acting from all characters and great story. It kept me at the edge of my seat often and never skipped any part. It seems like the ones who gave it poor rating did it because they felt bad for second male lead.

She had a crush on him but not love. She eluded to it later in a monologue

Cute FL so I tried to watch it for her, but honestly the plot is terrible so I fast forwarded and eventually dropped midway. It's an incredibly predictable story and the editing is awful. The ML acting is not that good and the chemistry is okay but not enough to carry the whole thing

Dropped it after 10eps, should have dropped it after 1st. Liked the ML but I lost some brain cells as I watched, I wish I can get my lost time back. It tries too hard to be a funny drama but it wasn't funny at all. Everyone is overacting and the plot is one of the worst I have seen.

I honestly dropped it so I can't say. I really couldn't take it anymore.

I have to say, the first prince she married was really a good person and what they said later that he is to blame for her being stolen from her love is not fair. He wasn't involved in it. He was manipulated by that king like everyone else. She never blamed Chu Che's sister when she was a clear villan in that situation...

He made her his empress and accepted her baby when it wasn't his and was willing to make the baby his heir. Seriously unconditional love.

So I watched this to the last episode. I liked the story it was unusual for me. But the editing is seriously bad. The FL and ML love progression is almost non existent. One scene the FL is treating the ML as a teacher and the next she is giving him a back hug. The ML went from cold to clearly in love with no in-between state. There are some transitions in years happening with no clear indication. At one point some characters were talking and a moment later a scene with one is running away being offended. A character suddenly tries to kill another with no explanation of how they made the decision before that moment. A lot is happening outside scenes which makes some plots hard to follow.

Still, I liked it and couldn't look away for some reason...

As a female programmer this synopsis is raising so many red flags... Why would the ML start a company that doesn't hire women? That is an unbelievable discrimination. The is no excuse I can hear that makes if okay. There are modern cross dressing stories that have excuses that are not misogynistic. Women are already marginalized in Computer Science why make it worse?
