Incredibly underrated drama. Highly recommended. I have watched it twice and would watch it again in the future. The chemistry between the leads is amazing and the story is unforgettable.

Wow, I came with high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. You won't regret watching it. Great acting, chemistry and story. I didn't skip a single moment but I repeated many scenes over and over again.
This is a very well produced quality series. With some of the best written and developed characters. Great acting from the whole cast. ML really killed in his performance. I highly recommend it, don't let the slow burn turn you away. It's perfection

Her performance in Love like the galaxy is awful. Really over acting obviously. I get you are supposed to cringe at her but I couldn't even believe her sadness over the ML as true. Her performance was unconvincing even if fun to watch

If you enjoyed Minglan you would probably enjoy this drama too, there are similarities and probably the drama closest to Minglan that I have ever watched though the FL here is not as mature (though I can tell she is experiencing character growth), she is only 15 afterall.
The story of Minglan is my top Asian drama of all time (and I probably watched no less than 50-100 dramas). If the quality of this drama continues in season 2, this drama may match it.

It's slow burn romance don't expect any major romance scenes in this season but the build up is amazing and the romance exists for sure. You can feel the ML's love in every glance and action. I love the FL character so much, it's no wonder the ML fell so hard. You would love her too. The slow build up makes their love far more believable than many similar dramas

I don't know why anyone bothers with army in this story. Li chungang killed 2 thousands in one strike. In every fight scene with army men they died immediately basically like ants against a tiger. Why even bother train and bring them to fights against fight masters, it actually felt unusually cruel to send them to certain death for no real reason or value

It's that she doesn't fit a princess role and has no chemistry with ML, her pout is childish and her acting is much weaker than the ML and most other characters. Honestly it didn't even make sense why the ML would be in love with her.
Other than that, I got no complaints just a little one I will hide for spoilers
I couldn't tolerate more than 3 eps. The FL is written to be supposedly smart but she's not consistently smart. I also don't feel any chemistry between the leads. This is nothing like the grace and intelligence of the story of Minglan!! I didn't even get to the bad second half. The FL is annoying in every regard I found myself wishing her to fail at every turn
The plot is all over the place even for a fluffy drama. Prepare to suspend your beliefs to the limit as you watch. The ML carries the whole thing, it was worth tolerating most of it just for the ML's scenes, though I skipped few episodes towards the end when the plot got too stupid even for my low expectations.
