Ikr. It's already halfway of the show but the sub is a major disappointment. Plot-wise, this drama has a potential to be bigger than what it is now.

I don't believe he's in love with her, more like obsessed. His action & thoughts show a tendency of him being a psychopath.

After watching the latest eps, I now believe that Mu Ze is either pure evil or twisted. I find it hard to sympathize with him though he has his share of tragic background. This is one character that I wish to stay wicked to the end with no redemption arc. MZ & XR are truly a match made in hell.

Just on ep. 2 & this drama looks interesting but the subtitle is horrible. So frustrating. It's a complete guessing game for me to understand what they say & mean. 😢

I notice that FLs in LLTG & LBFAD are quite similar in a way that they make the MLs learn to see them as their equal. They can help & protect the MLs too. So both relationships become more balanced.

Why do I feel that the room leader isn't BM? 🤔
This drama is so good in making us doubtful whenever they reveal someone as BM.
But one thing for sure, at this point it doesn't make sense if PCH is BM (still, his family & friend aren't clear from suspicion tho)
But IF (and only IF) he surely is & the writer can make perfect justification for him being BM, that is a truly amazing plot twist.

I'm trying to move on but my YT suggestion is full of XLH & DFQC bts. THEY ARE SO LOVELY!!! I know it's only acting but they are so comfortable with each other that I start to think otherwise. I need to curb my enthusiasm, this is not healthy. 😂😂

This is the first show that makes me having trust issue in all characters, including the main leads. No one is spared from being speculated as big mouse. 😂😂😂😂
And that's the "beauty" of this drama.

This show tricks us many times. We speculate that someone is the BM, then later find out that we are wrong. Then repeat it again the next eps.

LLTG is such an astounding drama. Marvelous! I don't usually watch C-drama that is over 50 eps but LLTG is so captivating with its story, cinematography, and acting that I cannot stop waiting every week to watch it.
As much as I like to see CSS & HBY wedding, I'm contented with the ending. Everyone gets what they deserve. Well, except the emperor who cannot get his wish of seeing HBY getting married. Emperor = the audience. 😂😂😂 I even rejoice in the fact that CSS & her mother relationship is getting better. It's something that I want to see from the beginning.

This drama only flaw is the rushed pace toward the finale which left some supposedly-important scenes "told not showed". Though I can understand why the editing happened like that, I couldn't help myself from feeling disappointed. I imagine it would be so much better if they released LLTG in its original time slot & eps number.

Anyway, I enjoy the overall ride and the interaction in this comment section too.

I find it a bit hard to rate this too. I love this show and production-wise it's amazing but story-wise? I'm conflicting. I might find the completeness of the plot in season 2 but I'm not sure if I'll be emotionally invested as I was in S1. Like you said, it's the writing not the actors. 😓

I'd like to accompany you by rewatching those eps but it means I have to cry a river again. My heart can't take it atm. I'll rewatch the funny & lovey-dovey eps instead.

I think some of us might still be here for a while because we haven't move on from that finale. 😅

I don't even know what that man is capable of (what is his power). Even CH seems stronger than him. The only ruler of a realm who showcases his power is DFQC.
