Title My Demon
One time watch. Not bad - I stretched to 7.5 best I could give it. Too much copied from other shows, and I’m done with the recycling of past lives from the Joseon period in all the contemporary kdramas of late. Enough already, its so overdone! It has the aesthetics and chemistry of the leads, but it is slow at times and I got bored, and skipped to keep some efforts to keep watching. Lee SangYi deserved a better role, he was given such a pathetic waste with no room to showcase what he is made of, it was a shame. Incredible actor.

Title My Demon
I gave this a 8.5 for all the efforts that made it watchable. However, I cannot come even close to giving this a 9 or a 10, because there was so little originality to this drama I felt like I was watching something I’ve seen before. Also, writers, an we take a break with the past lives storylines?? Its being done right now in so many shows… its pushing me over to binge on cdramas that are tacky with the tropes but don’t bother with the historical comparisons, ancestors or past lives stuff that seem to be circling through every single contemporary kdrama right now!!! ugh!!

This show has the aesthetics with the leads, and there’s plenty of chemistry- but its boring, and draggy in parts. I skipped tonnes through the last 4 episodes.

Disappointed to say the least, but there is very little thats fresh in this show and if you’re a seasoned drama watcher you will recognize all the parts copied from past shows.

Side note, lets not have drivers of cars be staring at the passenger for longer than is natural or safe, its distracting and not romantic when its completely obvious they are not actually driving because they would have crashed by now.

And when the obnoxious woman announces shes leaving can they ACTUALLY leave. Instead they remain for the rest of the episodes (many of them) keep popping up with the same old I’m leaving line, but never actually leaving. Cringe.

Disappointed most of all for Lee SangYi, like he was worthy of better than that. He seems pointless for the majority of the show, I really wanted him to show what he can do. One incredible actor.

Worth a watch, one time.

Had a good premise. The fat stuff got old fast. I get it in Asia being fat is like some kind of horror lol. But I don’t care for that rhetoric. What was the deal with the face blindness??!?! It seemed to work as an excuse in the beginning but he sure seemed to recognize everyone after a few episodes so that was weird. I was glad he liked her before she slimmed down, but still it was annoying. There is so kuch silliness with the cliches and the soapy skank that contributes constantly to the FLs misery. The constant public apologies seem to do nothing. Like just write her out of the story a little faster. I can’t stand the instant forgiveness of bad guys at the end. Its ok for bad guys to be kicked to the curb. ML gets a bit childish too which is a shame. Like I skipped the last 7 episodes it got boring and repetitive. This ones ok, but nothing to write home about.

This series is hilariously, ridiculously bad. But so good! I have been obsessed with rewatching Love Me, Love…
Feel like the dog was there just to give the ML a softer look in FL eyes and then after it played that part it was out. shame. i feel like I’ve seen that dog in another drama recently- one that was much better (not hard) lol.

I loved this series....it was much better than I expected it would be. Had depth and very good chemistry. The…
Like that was the stupidest part of the whole show. Like who just lets someone walk in and announce they were staying? Whatever, no one.

It’s a wholesome romance drama, without unnecessary breakups. I like when the writers give the couple other issues to roll with other than the usual plot lines that just are annoying and skippable. This show is slighty more enjoyable than the Korean version Something in the Rain. Chemistry is great between the leads and despite the massive age difference in real life, they have cast this so well that age gap is hardly noticeable. FL dresses and appearance quite young in style anyway- and ML doesn’t come across immature. Theres a bit too kuch filler stuff that made me skip quite a bit, this could have easily been cut down to 24 eps. Overall though a nice show to watch and enjoy.

Title Double Love
what a weird show-firstly, there was NO confession!!! for a romance thats so strange!! its like the pivotal piece of any romance drama lol

FL is super hypocritical throughout. Adored ML for yrs but throws a revege tantrum at the first sign, she gets mad when things are hidden but its funny to her when it happens to others. She acts like a child in so many scenerios and that bedroom of hers looks suited for a child to jnr high kid max. Frozen fish kisses and not much chemistry- and what one earth is going on with the bro and the friend?!?! Kept thinking this was gonna go BL on us…

The whole girl jealousy thing is so overdone, the ML can’t get any other actress to act with him without them having petty jealousy for the FL - like girls grow up.

It was fair, I’d give it a 7. You have to not think too much about it or it just gets annoying. watched most of it on double speed just to get it finished. The pointless additions of - childhood and past connections were dumb fillers that were not needed, and please stop using chinese locations and pretending they are the US and England. They look nothing like it lol.

For the record, this drama doesn’t have a lot of blood vomiting. Most of the c-drama is so over-doing the blood…
thats a relief, til the end of the moon i was surprised anyone had any blood left to spit up

Why do people ask these questions. You will get your answer if you watch it.It is more fun to NOT know the episode…
I imagine so they can skip to the part when they get together and then skip the inevitable breakup episodes- cos less face it thats when dramas go downhill lol 🤣🤣

I’m a fan of cdrama historical dramas but struggle a bit with Xianxia - is this going to be an issue? Like I always want to try them but some just seem confusing or a bit too much….

Won’t argue, this is a relatively low key drama with all the beauty of old historical chinese buildings and town. Absolutely stunning. The leads had chemistry- just wish once they connect they didn’t fall into the very platonic hugs amd smiley stares type relationship these shows give us once they connect. The best romances continue to show a couple doing couple things. I am trying to figure out what the overall point was of the show. It starts out quite defined. Two opposites coming together- a reviewer called this enemies to lovers, nope, its not that. I never saw them as enemies not once. Different but thats not the same thing. We have the usual entitled 2FL who thinks because she has a past (that wasn’t overly clear in any kind of flashback that they ever acted like a couple) fully expects her return to bring jubilation from the ML and anyone that might now be in his life to swiftly exit. I hate that trope, it is just annoying and drama writers could try being a bit more imaginative these days. After that gets resolved we move into a big long skippable part of the show where they advocate for traditional chinese craftmanship, of course, lets do it, I support, but the evil foreigners mock the chinese and I get the sense this becomes about political messaging rather than a valid storyline. In efforts to make a slice of life story, it just feels a bit mid, which is a shame I was hoping for more by the way it began. This is certainly no Meet Yourself, which I feel so far has truly pulled this off and can’t be beat. Not sure why the actual foreigners who speak English in these shows actually are terrible at English. The Chinese actors were pronouncing words better at times. Come on, you can’t find a single decent actor in China to pull off a better foreigner? They always come across wooden and have the acting skills of a brick. Music, aesthetics and main leads made this show.

These 10 min a piece series are interesting- and some of them are so far fetched and ridiculous its the reason you end up loving it. I gave this a 7, because its not got the credibility to be worth more than that. Super soap operay and plot holes everywhere- like who just has random pregnancy tests hanging around the bathroom, or the cop sirens but the bad guy is still tied up in the house, with no cops are we to assume, they came and then just left them to deal with the bad guy?🤣🤣🤣🤣 Either way a lot of nonsense, but little guy is cute, usually they are the VIP in any long lost parent trope. They save the show!

I should have started this sooner instead of Good day to be a dog
You’d be surprised but I thought the leads of the dog story had way more chemistry than these two. Surprising given who those leads are but they sure had some zing in parts 🤣🤣

She held on to the necklace which represented her and Tae Ha's longing for each other, which transported her back…
The Director of Red Sleeve added the final scenes to show their reuniting in the afterlife afyer Junho’s death. They said they did that because the true story is so tragic, to help viewers. It wasn’t an illusion it was reuniting at his death.

okay this cements it, if Lee SeYoung is in a drama I will just avoid it forever
She seems to act a bit silly in scenes at times, and it doesn’t help chemistry building. After seeing her in Red Sleeve I thought she was ok, but I’m starting to think Lee Junho brought the zing to the party because after seeing her without him in other dramas, I can see that shes not so great afterall. This ML is too unemotional for a romance. So combine the two, chemistry you will not get.

@ponnu Yeah the drama overall is nice...just the ending felt crappy to me..like we didnt even get a proper explanation…
she seriously needed to pop out of the pool again at the time of the flowers dying and we needed to see others in modern day at the wedding.

I finally finished it! It was really good at the start, interesting plot and chemistry etc but for some reason…
same, at some point I was talking myself into finishing it. chemistry was severly lacking here. Neither of them seemed that into each other until like the one scene later on where ML finally let us feel a bit of emotion. I skipped a lot towards the end.
