7 at best that takes 30 episodes to even get a little more romance in a show that is pitching itself as a romance drama you got to do better than that. Theres times this script is a pile of nonsense, actually a lot of the script is especially the constant nonsense coming from the 2FL. It’s exhausting and you’ll probably spend a lot of the show skipping. Carlo the dog is the MVP and is not even on the cast list… why not??!?!!!! He is the best and the captain of the ship from the start. There are some nice scenes and a good cast of comrades at the Vet clinic despite this weird behavior early on. It gets just a 7 for me. Fix the 2FL crap and get the romance going a bit faster and please LESS of this obsession in Cdramas of the FL always been a silly little girl who is naive. Strong mature FLs are so much better!
Theres a trope a minute in this show, so if you’re up for a bit if that you’ll be able to tolerate it!!! The ONLY trope missing from this show is the cold fish kisses, thank goodness… yep these two know how to kiss. The ending could have been a bit better, but oh well- you can skip the last few episodes its pointless dragging, and the script feels like it was written by a middle school kid.
There’s plenty of toxic evil and psycho enemies in this series too. Like enough already. Confused by the high viki rating cos this show is utter nonsense, but whatever, must be a lot of young girls who don’t understand life 🤣🤣🤣
The asthetics of this show are a big win. I just had to skip a fair bit as this progressed. Also there were a few misses in scenery. Starts of early fall. Somehow theres a scenes walking through the cherry blossoms. Then its New Years (according to signage at the club), and then back to Fall. At that point it stays consistent- late Fall, Winter and stays there… I gave this a 5 overall, mostly to the way they used those last 2 episodes. Not my favorite sorry.
It’s ok, has some really great parts but far much meh.. I skipped a ton of this show especially towards then end. It felt like the typical tropey cdrama but even cut down to 24 ep was too much. Ok watch.
Ansolutely beautiful production. Chemistry was on fire with the leads, and the General is probably the nicest ML ever in a historical cdrama! Smart, no dumb misunderstandings, no time wasting. This plot moves fast, it is short. Yes theres a handful of plot holes but we will let them slide because it doesn’t matter. Cinematography is on point, if this was low budget you can’t tell.

Loved it. I love the Hangang so it was fun to get a drama set on the river. Disney does a stand up job with their productions. I came here after dropping season 2 of First Responders which up until half way thru of season 2 had been my top show of 2023. Couldn’t stand all the sadness, they kind of ruined it so I needed another cop show. The humor is a nice balance in this one. It’s short so easy to get thru if you want a quick drama to binge.
I’m giving this 8.5/10. I wanted to totally love it, and in moments it almost got there. Far too many conflicting plot lines fighting for it, and it just felt a bit jarring throughout. I also got a little bored in those later episodes before it picked back up again, I don’t like it when that happens. I’m glad I waited for it all to drop to binge it, or else I might have gotten a little lost. Honestly I don’t mind all the advertising- they need it to fund these shows we love so much but for goodness sakes can the directors please stop the actors from oooing and ahhing over the food like they never had a fried chicken or sandwich before? I mean you can’t blink without seeing a fried chicken delivery guy in Korea. We know it was probably their first meal. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s just ridiculous and so fake and cringe. Did Rowoon also need so much make up? He’s hotness without it so it was a bit daft. I loved the chemistry tho between the leads especially as the show moved into the last 3 episodes they totally sold it. ❤️ Still doesn’t quite hit the levels of some of the better dramas of the year but it comes close. Nice job.
Light, easy going drama, but it gets draggy and easy to skip episodes and not miss much. Silly at times, both couples are great but would have loved more scenes with the general. Its a little imbalanced. No real drama though everything gets resolved fairly quickly not like most historical dramas where we have to put up with unfair extra marriages etc.
About ready to drop this. I’m not quite sure what I’ve watched for the past 18 eps. I mean is it like Sherlock? No - the genius that is the ML is rando. But its giving similar vibes. I preferred when he was mysterious and then he has a personality switch when the romance develops but those scenes are cringey as heck, like come on we could have had a much tenser sizzle confession scene/first kiss. It was just weird man. Theres scenes that probably aren’t meant to be funny but we are all laughing. The turtle is what most of us are worried about and theres not enough Andy scenes to placate us. I’m lost at this point man. FL went downhill fast. ML too perfect and odd. No emotional connection so I could care less about everyone in this show except Chen Mo’s whereabouts. Fact is seems most people in the comments here are thirsting after Wallace Huo. Fair do’s he’s cute, but folks—the show is not all that just cos of him!!! lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Its not a romance show by any means. it drops it sporadically into the script. sadly most the time its cringe and weird. theres way better romances out there. this series is more about the murders and investigation.
I think this show had some potential- but its so low key pushing toxic manipulation to get others to do what they want, theres at least 5 relationships impacted by manipulation its disgusting to promote it as normal in media like that. Also the music is horrendous- so try to tune it out. Stayed for the doc and the friend. They were my fave.
