A crazy bunch of nonsense for the most part, but its watchable. The leads have good chemistry-which is probably its saving grace. The ending could have been fleshed out to be honest was a bit sudden. So glad the freeze framing shots tailed off that was super annoying, and I guess strong independent women are screamers in Korea. I’m guessing it’s that way in real life because they only ever portray girls trying to be strong that way. If it’s not the case, and they only do it in dramas, they should knock it off. It’s not a good look.

agree ignore reviews when you want to try something often people have their own tastes. I can imagine depending on the age of the viewer and what their expectations are for a “good drama” will determine reviews.

I think he pulled it off ok. I didn’t see his age until half way thru and honestly was shocked he is only 23. He was giving me older vibes (like 30) for sure.

2 leads are the better couple and characters in this show, which reminded me a lot of Cinderella and the Four Knights kinda vibe. Its ok for the most part if you can get beyond all the silly plot holes, like there’s a ton. True to cdrama form there’s plenty of dumb decision making.

Be warned there’s scenes of abuse/torture that are uncomfortable to watch.

Not as great as the reviews at the top of the page make out. There are far better cdramas out there. This is at best a good filler show.

Would have given this a 8 or 9 if it had actually had any ROMANCE. Sorry writers you don’t get to call it a romance when there is zero for 32 episodes and in the final 5 seconds you make something happen. Sad. Also don’t be fooled by the comedy label either. Theres like 2% comedy in this pile of nonsense too. The rest (the entire drama) is about serious business ventures and relationships of investing. Came here for the romance label wasted 32 hrs of my life.

there is zero romance. last second of drama does not make a “romance conedy” label a romance.

This is a 7/10 at best, not sure why viki rating is so high. It’s clear from the comments throughout how low budget this show is. The writers are clearly trippin on something and the wardrobe budget is about 4-5 pieces each if you’re lucky. They wear the same outfits for days and for supposed rich people it doesn’t fit the intent of the drama. For those who like chemistry there is plenty present, lots of kiss scenes though a few are your typical cdrama dead fish lol. It works as a filler show, though you might find yourself questioning why on earth you are still watching. Plenty plot holes too but hey we can overlook stuff for dramaland right?!!!

my only issue is when the subber used obvious lingo/slang they wanted to use. I think people would prefer more direct translations. Theres alot of “oppas” in there being used by the actresses too but it never popped up in the subs, at all. Overall not enough for me to get upset about but I can see why some may be irritated. I am more bothered when subs aren’t correct with English grammar or sentence structure (happens more in cdrama subs) where you are literally tripping over yourself mentally to follow the weird flow of the subs.

I think yet again they are trying to call out the nonsense cancel culture of the celebrity industry in Korea/Asia. They have brought this on themselves imo by bowing to the fans, attempting to give them what they want and stupid fake “ownership” over celebrities lives. Let people date and love whoever the heck they want.

Solid 10/10 for me!!

Oh this show is already giving me hangovers!! I flew through each episode, everything is awesome the cast is PERFECT, the OST is upbeat and just right for the scenes.. love having a strong FL who doesn’t bow to pressure and even when it happens (one time) there’s a solid reason for it and I think is needed for the final stretch of growth she needs mentally and emotionally.

This show is just fantastic and I can’t get enough. Will be a rewatch title for sure! 💕

I really wanted to love this despite the quirkiness of Japanese OST’s, I’m not really a fan of the way they do background music in their dramas. The music from the band was decent. The concept plot was not bad, and I was glad we don’t linger too long in the school environment.. but why did the FL always be silly happy in every scenerio she has the same silly happy behavior. For the scenes that required a bit of depth and seriousness, the ML brought and she’s just standing there being silly again. Didn’t come across as very genuine. Also, there was zero chemistry coming from her towards ML. He pulled off the mysterious looks in her direction, there was just a huge gaping hole here that is the responsibility of the director to capture. Like others have said, this idol industry is toxic. Lets enjoy bands singing and dancing and stop with the dumb rules that stop them from living their lives. Let them date. Let them live their young years. These toxic teens that can’t bear to see their bias in a relationship need to get past it already. They’ve created something very unhealthy in the asian celebrity industry that is not good for their society as a whole. Crazed fans getting to dictate who you can love.. ridiculous.

Acting all around is not great, but the chemistry between the 2 leads is there.

What a terrible show. I’ve watched half and can’t endure any more. Had high hopes based off others reviews, I’m not sure we are watching the same show or they need to find some better cdramas. They are out there guys!! Do yourselves a favor and watch Meet Yourself. There’s a slice of life cdrama done to perfection!!!

Same. I waited for S2 to come out before I continued, but reviews are all over the place irritated at S2. I’m already wondering whether to continue and that sealed the deal.

Had to drop it.
