A hilarious historical rom-com, with so much license being taken injecting modern elements- its just what the audience needs after a slew of dramas trying to be too serious and heavy. There’s a reason we love kdramas and thats for the escape factor and humor that is quintessential korean!! Though this show also has its dark and serious moments, they do not last, and we are given yet more slices of fun. The cast is perfect, especially the leads, and 2ML syndrome is bursting at the seams. The chemistry between the leads though is 🔥🔥 and will put giant smiles on your faces. A solid 10/10 and a welcome relief to start out the 2023 drama year!! A must watch, and certainly on the re-watch list. #swoon

I enjoyed the drama even without the deleted scenes. I did not watch the trailers or BTS clips so I did not have…
there was missing stuff everywhere

What total and utter crap this pile of garbage show is. All the kissing scenes are cut, for no reason why-theres plenty chinese shows with amazing kiss scenes. There is zero plot. The comments on Viki are just frustrated with the lack of plot and full of “only here for Dylan” which tells you everything you need to know. Lol. If the lead had been someone less pleasing on their eye they’d not be hanging around or rating it as high. When you rate a poor show based on the fact you are attracted to the lead, then we have a big problem. Shows should be rated on their content, quality of writing, engagement factor etc.

There is very little in way of soundtrack. A handful of nice somgs but the rest is weird and odd sound effects.

The ONLY redeeming quality in this entire show are the fight scenes, but sadly theres not enough if them to save this hot mess of nonsense.

Don’t hold out for a good ending either. It’s not worth it. I can’t believe I kept hanging on for this.

LOL what a hilarious mess with the 2 male leads. This has to be the first time I have EVER rooted so hard for the second which I never do. Yeah sure you feel bad for them and all but something is just way off in the script, direction and casting here. Compatibility wise the FL & 2nd had all the chemistry and personality match, and he stayed solid throughout. The writers should have done a better job at convincing the audience of the reason why they fell in love in the first place, because you don’t get it until the last 5 min of the series. So so odd.

The suspense factor was a good add and surprising, but it needed to be wrapped way sooner than it did. That started to drag and quite frankly became annoying.

The side characters in the squad were great, as were the 2 moms relationship (again cementing the 2nd’s bond with FL) and that was a welcome addition to cross the wealth divide we usually are fed.

Too many idiotic plot issues and dumb tropes for no reason that I guess the writers have zero imagination. One of these days they’ll catch on that a show with positive energy and stellar storytelling means theres no need for daft tropes that don’t fit.

The show redeems itself with a good final episode for the cast, except for goodness sakes eith a time jump there was no need to do the dirty on 2ML. Do better.

I don’t know what everyone’s selling but this is at best a 7/10. There are so many more cdramas who do this better. The plot points were horribly written, and the directing was awful in parts. I guess the fluffy final episode left everyone with all the feel goods lol.

Yes theres all the dumb cliches that don’t even make any sense in the plot, there is the toxic stuff too. Theres emotional manipulation, misunderstandings because no one can communicate and a group of friends that for the most part of the show are a bunch of idiots. Lets call it what it is already.

Yes, its a sweet romance once they learn how to talk but it will take most the series to get there. She still looks shocked when she is kissed after being married for ages. Not certain if the reason for the PG-13 rating?? Who knows. Its a filler show, and certainly not a rewatch.

Can someone please give that girl a better haircut and learn how to dress - why do they always style female characters…
The baggy look is the fashion in Asia. The hairdo’s (short bobs) also popular but I agree they look very childish the way they are styled.

At least they didn’t have her dressing like a 5 yr old, in lace and collars like I’ve seen in some cdramas!!!

Not a massive fan of e-sports, but I do happen to like the way they create dramas around it, and this is one of the good ones. It’s nice to have a lovely romance without overbearing dictatorship parents, or exes causing a mass of issues. I loved seeing how the team came together throughout the series, they were already successful but had had their fair share of issues necessitating the replacement of a key player. The way they incorporated a female gamer was fun, and for the most part she’s likeable. I’d say her biggest fault is she can’t keep her face out of the online comments - and if she had, would saved a lot of her main problems! (and a fair amount of screentime) which got annoying as it continued on. K, Cat & Chubby make great support players with Chengs bro hanging around for the fun factor. The character arc for everyone individually and collectively was well done and genuine. I felt for K with those nasty user parents. Ugh. So glad he had a team to give him the family he really doesn’t have, though I hoped SOMEONE could have pointed out to the parents how awful they are and to get lost and never be seen again lol. Great show, I just finished my second watch and could skip thru all the gaming stuff cos once was enough, and get to the parts of the show I loved. A solid 9/10 for me.

**warning if product placements annoy you, this show is packed full of them and are rarely subtle. 🤣🤣 I’m sure they are necessary for the funding, and they don’t bother me, but I see lots of people complaining about them, so heads up. ✌🏼

Absolutely incredible ✌🏼

Not a fan of the cliffhanger ending but as long as Season 2 is a sure bet, then I good.

Never draggy and all the crew on this show is great. Great relationship buidling and love the collab between all the Emergancy services.

Pants ending and sadly writers will never seem to understand the power of a final episode in ratings.

So much potential in this show, like for reals, but far too many stupid scenes, wasted airtime and pointless filler plots and then rushed the resolution. Stupid.

Giving it 8/10 because the chemistry was there and the story was sweet for the mains, but oh boy was the execution and timing way off. Don’t rush endings! This story missed big time opportunity to have the leads team up to be one heck of a power couple in the industry they specialize in and it was a total miss.

I’m struggling with this. So many people love it, but I have no idea whats going on. Subtitles are way off on Viki too, so they are talking and nothing is showing and then not talking and dialogue pops up. Weird.

I've just finished it. It was my first chinese drama and I mostly loved it. In my opinion 24 episodes are too…
oh boy go watch some others, this was awful. Some of my faves are Once we are married, Lost Romance (tawainese), Falling Into You, Love Like the Galaxy. Far Far better cdramas!!!

What an absolute hot mess of a drama. Came for a nice fluffy romance. Left with the only fluff available- cat fluff. The title leads you to assume this show will have something to do with cats. And it does, for a while. The connection caused by the cat is cute and unique but drops off fast. There’s a cat cafe that miraculously seems to keep cats on the tower, off the cafe tables and counter (thank goodness) and weird fantasy world cat mask scenes, and thats about it. The rest is a hosh posh of bad writing by children and awful directing. The FL whines the entire show. Theres no romance, no affection and pecks for kisses. It’s almost as if the main leads (and supporting ones for that matter) even tolerate the sight of each other in real life, because their scenes feel forced. Despite the overload of typical cdrama tropes - some shows manage to pull it off, but nothing was going to redeem this one. You’ll skip so much to save your sanity. If I wasn’t a fan of some of the actors work I’d have dropped this, however I just kept foolishly hoping for some feel good scenes, with chemistry to make me feel like all the angst was worth it. It never showed up. Good luck if you feel like trying it out.
