WOW what a wonderful finale. It could have easily been written into a 16 episode BUT, it’s fine wrapping the way it did. This drama was so well cast and was visually stunning. The set was purposefully built and it was amazing having the historical elements of the monarchy with the gorgeous costumes-all set in a modernized yet still keeping the old elements of the Korean palace. Ignore the idiots throwing stones at this, just go watch sit back and revel in a stunning production. Character development everywhere was so good. I was so put off by Huiju at the start too, but hang in there. Are there tropes? yes, are there plot holes? plenty. But its a masterpiece and one I look forward to rewatching with family and friends. Beautiful drama, nice job production crew, cast and everyone that worked hard on it. And PM Min……. 😝

I have no idea why this won a script writing contest. 1. The pacing is poor-this series actually NEEDED the 16…
Agree, this needed 16 episodes.

I just finished writing a similar comment. The editing was getting on my nerves too! Like, I pressed a 10 second…
I’m just hoping that the finale ties up at least a few lose ends or at least changes direction.

Could it be that I An is saying he will abdicate to flesh out the evil PM and then the sweet baby Catholic Jesus…
singing the end credits in ep 10 but it popped up again partway thru ep 11. they are calling it Parallel but Spotify pulled it as Fate Line. which is why I couldn’t find it earlier.

Does anyone else find the editing weird in this drama especially this last episode ? Felt like they were cutting…
I thought that too, transitions have been smoother than this last episode so far.

Everything becomes right if ML/FL are good lookingOther wise it is suppressing, misogynist, and a loveless contract…

Annoying characters just falling out if the woodwork now and whats with all the noble idiocy- starting to look like a cdrama at this point. Not really a great episode…. for once can we have our leads act like adults?

Honestly, the drama loses its way; after a certain point, it becomes monotonous, and the entire romance plot is…
amen

the romance scenes were so scripted and fake. its like we did the deed we are together except then shes ticked off immediately and hating again, off with Tan for some more scenes. immature

Glad I didn’t get sucked in to the scam of premium this final week. lol wgat a joke. Zero chemistry between the leads, FL had no growth despite what they tried to make it look like, constantly saved by Ji, and that final episode spouting out overly idiolistic view points like “even if we break up as long as we love each other” what????!!!!! It was a stupid speech and solidified my annoyance with her character. She dumped on Ji at the first moment every single time always blaming it on her insecurity- but yet she nicked off with Tan whenever she deemed it ok which was a lot. Hypocritical character. It all got a bit holier than thou. Shame because this show started out interesting and edgy but just flatlined. She had more romance scenes with Tan than Ji and even there the romance with Ji seemed “placed” strategically to take care of it, but then once that got wrapped we just see arguments and final hugs. The ending-pathetic.

Title Love Rain
Exhaustingly dragged out with a script the repeats over and over it will still suck you in until the very end lol.
