What a waste of time I’ll never get back. Terrible writing, extremely draggy, a FL with no emotional range who was a horrible character, so full of herself expert at everything- on a bender to get what she wanted. Lie just falling on his knees for her left right and center. Stuck record of her telling him to go away, never communicating and only realizing she needs him when she thinks hes dead.
Are you kidding me? What on earth is wrong with everyone in the comments and reviews??? Yes the first couple of episodes are wack as all get out, but this show turned a massive corner (as did most kdramas of the past) and turned into quite a show. Yes there are some crazy goings on, like they be zipping back and forth from space like it costs a couple bucks, how rockets can somehow be just ready to go at a drop of a hat, and the subtitles don’t get me started. But come on, this was a great show as it progressed more. I’d sure love to know how many of the reviews are trashing on this ACTUALLY saw this through to the end. Given that it just wrapped this weekend and the reviews were written 2 months ago I’d not trust them as far as I could throw them. I took off a couple stars for the wacky unnecessary start and the ending that while great for fans of drama, I didn’t particularly enjoy. Overall though the actors pulled this off and the MLs relationship was sweet.
Do yourselves a favor before you bad mouth a drama you did not finish before 2-3 episodes and then continue to trash the folks who actually watched it - get a life.
I’m a fan of these leads as much as the next person and in the beginning I honestly thought oh heck no this is a disaster. I waited for it to finish dropping before I decided to give it a go to finish and I’m glad I did. They did good. The entire cast.
Badly edited show, with lots of circles and no actual romance left this romance show in the tank. I didn’t mind the silence or the signing or the theme but this had very little plot or character arc.
haven’t you seen the leaks? seems like it’s going to be 🥵
nahhhh thats ok. I’ll watch it anyway because I’ve been waiting forever but at least I can go in with realistic expectations lol. Like I don’t get it, they shoupd cast her in a thriller or something but for FL romance roles she ruins them.
Someone please tell me Ruo Nan isn’t going to frozen fish kiss in this show. Its her trademark and the biggest reason why I despise her getting FL roles. Ugh please don’t ruin this show.
Much better than Melo Movie, without a doubt. Typical role for Se Young, for In Woo this showcases his range as an actor. Very different from his role in Marry My Husband. They both did a stellar job. Would love to see Se Young play a role where she’s doesn’t dominate the relationship, has no trauma or is maddeningly angry and aggressive to other mains. It’s getting a little old. The its my way or the highway isn’t that great.
First episode started out strong and catchy, but I felt like it gradually dropped off. waited for a final episode that was just meh. These Jdramas are quirky, and I love that about them usually.
Major disappointment. What a totally depressing show. I expected a lot more from these leads, but it just felt flat and unconvincing. Zero chemistry. Seconds was the only relationship I cared about and then the ending was just flat all round. Ugh.
What I liked:- The male lead character and the actor-The kids- No drama, no breakup, no tropes- The paceWhat I…
I’d agree. I came into this off the backs of WTPR which was a masterpiece. While I liked the mellow nature of it, it lacks just enough that the hype of it, for me, falls flat.
I really liked this show. I would have loved a bit more scenes for the second leads but I liked that their screentime…
The not much else happening is why I scored this 8.5. Theres a real lack in underlying plot and its needed. The tension points were great but the inbetween moments then felt a little lack luster.
I know this has a very mellow vibe, and an understated romance, however its lacking something thats hard to put a finger on. Probably the lack of any real tension in the plot, despite the efforts with evil ex colleague and the rando old guy chaebol who has a last minute redemption line, after he’s destroyed everything of course.
This show is full of the tropes, and yes even kdrama’s favorite sponsor, Kopiko, but you don’t really care because you are already hook line and sinker into the show. I am glad to see this guy finally get a main lead gig.
It’s ok, and a nice watch, you may skip a few bits like I did, it’s not a 10, and a 9 for me at all stretch. A good 8.5.
Romance? No way. This sounds toxic. Unless it's all a misunderstanding and the ML wasn't cheating and manipulating…
Romance feels like a reach with this label, there is some, but most the time it’s manipulated or hidden, and the truth comes out and destroys. Life lessons.
Absolutely pathetic.
