On The Flame's Daughter Apr 5, 2018
Is this drama worth watching? The summary and the comments below makes me not want to watch it but at the same time I love some of the actors so wondering if i should give this drama a try...

There's one thing I'm really curious about. For so long, she managed to be on her own because she made sure she didn't injure herself since the evil is attracted to her blood. But what if it is her time of the month? Isn't that counted as blood too...?

Loved this drama so much. I liked how there was a lot more romance and cute moments compared to other historical romance korean dramas. I liked the chemistry between the leads, the awesome acting, the evil characters, the friendship, the new relationships formed, the filming, the story and the fights. I loved everything about this drama.

For those who liked this drama, i would recommend Empress Ki(my all time favourite. The romance in this one is awesome though its more on the political, revenge and action side. There are quite some cute moments to get you going. The character development in this drama was better executed as compared to princess' man. Just the first scene of the female lead and the last scene of her already speaks for itself, how much she had gone through and changed.) and Scarlet Heart(Another one that I'm currently obsessed with. Lee joon Ki is my most favourite historical actor and the plot is awesome.)

You guys realize that Naoki has classic Asperger syndrome, right? My own daughter has this condition and i can…
Well-said! I was thinking the same thing about points 1,4 and 5 while watching the drama. Agree with the other two points as well. I remember at one point he said that he had never experienced those "ugly" emotions before but because of Kotoko, he experienced how it's like to be jealous of someone in season 2. He also said that it was only Kotoko who managed to bring these emotions from him as can be seen in the last few episodes of season 1 where he was dating another girl but only in front of Kotoko, did he show his anger.
And in season 1, I recall him having to take the exam while under the influence of the medicine which made him drowsy and he said that not once had he been nervous to look at his results but because of Kotoko, he got to experience that as well.
Besides, I wasn't angry at all about the honeymoon episode because he was right in saying that she has married a future doctor who has to touch females to determine their illnesses.

This drama was my very first historical drama and the reason why I fell in love with historical dramas. I've always been fond of historical manga and novels but wasn't really interested in historical dramas until I saw the trailer for this one. I came here to watch a gender bender(which barely lasted) and fell in love with the leads. This had a really amazing plot, actors, settings, dresses, basically everything was amazing!

I am so in love with this drama that every time I make a new friend, drama viewer or not, I tell them about Empress Ki and make them listen to my favourite OST, thorn love by 4men. I always feel like crying whenever I listen to that most as the memories of this drama come back to me. This drama will always hold a special place in my heart.

Ha Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook are such amazing actors! I wish Ha Ji Won will act in more historical dramas >.< I miss her so much! Ji chang Wook was so cool in healer and I still find it surprising how he was able to act two different roles so well!

I watched this drama 4 years ago and am looking forward to rewatching it next year :D

Hi, a huge fan of gender bender dramas here! My favourite is 'bromance'. I've nearly watched all of the gender bender dramas(including all versions of To the beautiful you and you're beautiful). I still haven't watch snow lotus though. Definitely planning to watch it :)
Btw, you look great! I love the gender bender makeover!
I would never ever dress as a guy, cuz I would definitely look ridiculous as one anyway.
On Mao Xiao Tong Dec 30, 2017
Person Mao Xiao Tong
When I was watching LoveO2O, I didn't notice her much. When I was watching Princess Wei Young, I realised that she was the best female evil character I've ever seen. Usually, I find second female leads really annoying, but her role was really unique in Princess Wei Young. Clearly, she's a really good actress who is able to take on a variety of roles. I hope to see her as the female lead in her upcoming dramas :)

Btw, I love her hair, she looks really pretty both in short hair and in long hair. I couldn't recognise her at all the first time i watched princess Wei young. I only recognised her when I went back to rewatch it again.
At first, I was very hesitant to watch this drama. More than half the dramas I watch are rom-coms. I do tend to watch melo or historical dramas when I'm in the mood but so far, I have never really seen the main couple have an affair. So the title of the drama really put me off. But I have watched dramas of the two main leads so I decided to give this drama a go, and I really enjoyed watching it.

I had something else in mind when I started this drama, I was thinking that the story would probably be about the divorce process(where the husband finds evidence of her cheating and brings it to court to hurt the wife, then the wife decides to take revenge), the child getting hurt, and the wife regretting her decision and the husband reminiscing about their past married life and the end. Which sounds like a typical American melo style revenge story to me.

But I was totally not expecting what I had just watched. Those 12 episodes, seemed like a 130 eps drama to me. They taught me so many things about life, relationship, marriage, responsibility, love and divorce. I always assumed that divorce was a bad thing and didn't understand some dramas where the supporting roles had husbands who cheated but the wife never divorced him (One example would be Marriage not dating, the guy's parents). This drama was an eye opener for me.

If you are hesitating and wondering if you should even watch this, this is what I would always say: Just give the first episode a try. If you don't like what you see, then drop it, no one's forcing you to watch it.
On Plus Nine Boys Dec 14, 2017
The summary really made not want to watch it because I thought the story was complicated but I'm glad I did. It has a pretty simple storyline which I loved. I really hope there will be a second season. Really enjoyed watching it.
On Too Late to Say I Love You Nov 25, 2017
It started out really good until it reached the midpoint. This drama had so much potential to be much more. They could have focused more on the war rather than the romance for the later half. I now understand why most war dramas don't focus too much on romance. When there is a lot of romance involved like this one, things get really messy and we have second leads. I only watched it because of Chung Wallace. I really loved him in My Sunshine. He really suits the obsessive roles well. And I do agree that the chemistry between the leads were awesome. But I don't like how the story turned out. Well, since it's a historical drama, i guess I should have been expecting it to turn out like that.
For those who are interested in watching this drama, I think it was good. Not the best though. I watched it for the leads especially. If you are looking for a better drama, I would recommend Battle of Changsha. Loved that one to bits. Highly recommend that for all those who have watched this drama!
On While You Were Sleeping Nov 14, 2017
I don't think this drama falls under the thriller genre. Most people who saw the thriller tag probably had very high expectations which is also probably why they might have found it boring. I just watched this after just watching "woman of dignity" and "tunnel" and also currently watching "Vampire prosecutor" so I must definitely say that though I find the plot interesting, it definitely does not belong in the thriller genre.
This is more like a rom com with supernatural events rather than a thriller drama. So for those wondering whether to watch it or not, and are currently reading the comments, I would say, give it a go if you are a fan of rom coms. I'm loving it a lot because I went to watch it with expectations of a rom com to relax after watching thrillers.
And for those commenting about the acting, don't complain about Suzy if you have not watched her old drama and this drama. I've watched "Gu Family Book", and I can seriously tell that her acting has improved a lot. It might not be the best, because acting is definitely not her specialty. But please don't criticise her because I've seen even worse actresses before.
For those who find her acting horrible and can't get past the first episode, just drop this drama. She's the female lead and you're probably going to be watching her every minute of the drama.
On Love, Timeless Oct 27, 2017
This drama was beautiful, to say the least. It's totally different from all the time travelling dramas I've watched before. At first, I hated the first few episodes because it seemed so cliche to me but then I realised that rather than focusing on the plot, this drama focuses more on the characters and their relationships, which I really loved. If you are a K-drama rom com fan, this drama might seem slow and frustrating but if you are someone who truly enjoys watching the growth of characters rather than the plot itself, I think you will come to love this drama. If you still do not like this drama after 2-3 episodes, my best advice to you is, just drop it and come back to it later when you feel like watching it.

I loved this drama so much! Until I reached episode 20. I felt that eps 21-24 were unnecessary. They could have ended the story with her giving birth, then when they both disappear, they are reborn in the modern world and have the same ending as ep24. That would have been perfect for me. And for the devil, they could have killed him when the crown prince died.
Oh well, I still loved this drama and wouldn't hesitate to rewatch it again. I'm glad it was a happy ending.
On The Liar and His Lover Jul 22, 2017
I honestly don't get why there are so much hate comments and reviews with such low ratings! I loved the drama! The actors were all so beautiful beyond words and so were the songs! Plot wise, I agree it was kind of slow at times and felt like repetition but I loved the cuteness! I wouldn't say the plot was awesome, because it wasn't(I personally prefer the Japanese movie) but for actors and songs, i definitely prefer this drama! This drama definitely is NOT for everyone. If you are just looking for a light-hearted and fun but slow plot rom com drama to watch, go ahead and try watching episode 1. I did feel they could have shortened the drama to 12 episodes but oh well, I get to see Lee Hyun Woo for 4 more episodes so I don't mind, haha.
If you don't like it, just drop it! No one is forcing anyone to watch it till the end. If anyone of you felt pressured to watch till episode 16 even though you hated the drama, it is your own fault for not being able to stop so stop blaming the drama.

Personally, I really liked this drama. Yes, the hair was annoying, which was why I didn't pick up this drama…
I am talking about the guys, not the girl. Hwang Jang Eun is one of my most favourite actresses so I would never call her anything but pretty and cute.
On Ode to Joy Season 3 Jun 22, 2017
YAAAAAAY! Season 3!!! But omg whats with the date? DEC 2019? I just finished watching season 2. I want the season 3 right now! I can't wait 2 and a half years for season 3!!!
On Full House Take 2 Jun 21, 2017
Personally, I really liked this drama. Yes, the hair was annoying, which was why I didn't pick up this drama till a few days ago when I had nothing else to watch. And man, I really believe that this drama was a lot better than other dramas which had ratings between 7.3-7.8. The storyline was pretty good, and honestly I wasn't even expecting much when I started it. I wouldn't say that this drama is cliche, but neither is it unique. And it has no resemblance whatsoever to the actual Full House drama. It's called full house because the house that Noh Min Woo is fighting for is called "Full House".

If you are the type to be really fussy about the looks and all, then don't watch this drama at all, I can tell you that you will really despise it. But if you are the type looking for a good(not awesome nor boring, but good enough to watch) rom com storyline, then give this drama a try.

Everything was good except for the ending. I mean it is sort of an happy ending but I was hoping she would end up with LTJ. Well, I would hate a husband who had two affairs with women but it seemed to me that he loved his wife a lot and would do anything for her. He did have an obsessive personality and expected a lot from her like her trust. I can understand why she didn't end up with him but I was hoping she would at least end up with SJW if not LTJ.
I have been rooting for LTJ from the start and they just decided to make it a business only partnership for all 3 leads. -.- I really hope there is a season 2 to show LTJ ending up with KHJ.

Loved everything in this drama except for the romance. The romance seems forced. I wished he had ended up with Ady An >.< They had more chemistry together than with Ying Er. I liked her character but she doesn't go well with the main lead. She should have ended up with An Neng, only if he hadn't died...
