Title 940920
You can't watch this season without season 1 but I must say, I loved this season so much more than the first one. The first season was good, but I felt it was slow with a simple storyline, but this season was even better and had so much going on that I even felt the drama was too short!

I didn't have much expectations for this season since usually in most dramas, second season rarely ever surpasses the first one, but this one, was wow. I would recommend sitting through the first season just to watch this one if you love time travelling dramas. Can be a bit confusing, but after a few episodes, the story is understandable.

This drama was really good, up until the last episode. I felt it was rushed at the end, and didn't like how Genie's story ended. It had so much potential, and could have easily been a 10 if there was more eps with more story and depth to the characters and their relationships. But for a webdrama, it was not bad.

Best e-sports drama I've watched! My favourite was Xiao Feng in this drama. Starting was a bit slow, but as the drama progressed, it got more and more entertaining, and I believe this drama's strong point was its character development and character growth.

There are so negative comments here like I was so excited to watch it ಥ‿ಥ
Don't let them stop you from watching and judge for yourself. It is popular for a reason.

This is better than Squid game. Squid game is too mainstream and dramatic. Japanese are better doing this kind…
Yeah, I agree. But character motivations don't need to feel realistic because here, they were never given the choice to participate in the game, everyone's just trying to live. SG gave them a choice in round 2 so they needed motivation + desperation to come back to that horror.
But yeah both dramas are dramatic, which makes both of them entertaining to watch.

I’m 3 episodes in and I can’t believe this could even be compared to squid game. Cliche and predictable and…
Funny how I felt the same for SG instead, cliche and predictable since first episode except it had characters with some depth, but their actions were very inconsistent given their characters and stopped making sense to me after the first half of the drama. And as for the selfishness in survival games you mentioned in a reply, I felt the same for SG, quite a number of characters there also chose to sacrifice their lives for others, which also doesn't make sense to me because according to their back stories and previous actions, they were desperate and did anything to win, yet were willing to sacrifice their lives... hmm... Questionable...

Alice in borderland was never meant to be realistic given the parallel universe. As for predictability, it's the games themselves that makes it unpredictable, not for who you think will survive each game because inevitably the main characters will always make it far, just like in SG.

Not bad, but not good enough to deserve all the hype. I think the story was interesting, but characters were forgettable…
The only reason Male lead won was cuz of luck like seriously. He did not directly have to kill anyone, after all his cousin pretty much did all the work. Even the grandpa he "killed" in the end survived. He really doesn't deserve to be the winner. All he did was pretend that he's nice and didn't want anyone to die. But guess what, you could have chosen to walk away if you really didn't want to kill anyone, after all in the first round, he did run away when someone was asking him for help. Yet he still came back. None of the players here are nice, they are just desperate. Yet, he's blaming his friend and all other players for killing people, when that's exactly what he came here to do too. Kill to win the money, whether directly or indirectly. So his so-called "nice" and "kind" self was just an act to me. If he really thought this was unfair, and immoral, he should have never came back -.- Yeah, he's "desperate", I get it, but which player isn't. I'm not saying he did wrong by refusing to help the guy in first round, because that's exactly what I would do too, but him blaming other people for their actions when he's exactly the same, just that thanks to his luck, he didn't have to directly dirty his hands, how ridiculous.

Which brings me to my next point, I don't understand Sang Woo's action at the end. Sang Woo was more than ready to sacrifice the male lead in that sugar candy game when he chose the umbrella, yet you are telling me he was willing to kill himself to let the male lead win? I'd rather believe Sang Woo backstabbed the male lead in order to win, cuz that sounds more believable to me. Given his character development throughout the drama, his action made no sense to me because don't tell me that since he lost, he thought that male lead should win, because again that's not how they developed his character. He was someone willing to do ANYTHING to win, even if that meant sacrificing Ali, the grandpa or his own friend.

And also Han Mi Nyeo, I get that she really wants to kill Jang Deok Soo but she was willing for both of them to die tgth instead of simply pushing him down and taking a gamble after all that she had done?

A lot of things don't make sense to me. Again, poor character development. Don't even get me started on the other characters. Too many inconsistencies and plot holes.

Not bad, but not good enough to deserve all the hype. I think the story was interesting, but characters were forgettable and it didn't really get me as emotional as I had expected as the characters' actions after a certain point in the drama simply stopped making sense. I think Alice in Borderland or Liar Games were much better in those aspects despite the annoying FL in Liar Games. But still, I think it's worth a watch. Definitely not something I'd rewatch though, too predictable with poor character development(more in my reply) and unfinished plot lines for behind the scenes and the police scenes.

And for those bashing other people's tastes just because they don't like the drama, I think everyone has their own opinions? Just because everyone likes something doesn't mean you have to like it too? We are all different, with our own likes and dislikes, so instead of questioning their tastes, you can just ignore/accept and move on.

As for those complaining about ratings on MDL, well I don't trust ratings on MDL either but just wanted to say that MDL ratings are based on viewers' opinions. Meaning just because a drama is "popular" doesn't automatically mean it should have high ratings or highest ratings in this case. Ratings are based on what the viewers thought of the drama, not based on number of viewers. Just because many people watch doesn't mean they all have to like the drama? Netflix is showing popular dramas not highest rated dramas which makes sense because the more people watch, just shows how good it is? Besides, 8.6 is really good already.

Definitely one of my favorites with the best Female Lead I've ever watched in a Business Drama. Something always felt missing whenever I watched business dramas with "strong" female leads as they suddenly always had trouble that could only be solved by male leads. But over here, she did get help, but she always tried her best first and succeeded in her own ways most of the times. I really admire her character. Even the way she turned down all the successful men who chased after her made me respect her. It's not that she didn't want to marry, she just hadn't meet the guy whom she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

Never shipped Ye Xing Si with Fu Yong Jie, in fact I skipped all of their scenes after those triggering first few eps. But the main couple was worth watching, they were so cute, though there were some disturbing moments in first few eps, but if you look past that, they are fun to watch. Just remember to close the door when watching ;)

Absolutely amazing! I knew it would be good ever since I read the summary but wasn't expecting it to be this good! Must watch for anyone interested in a dark plot surrounding around 3 friends.
Only thing I disliked about this drama was that it was too short T . T

Who does Bae Doo Na end up with?
Jin Jin and Kang Suk. Like at the start, Kang Suk was a jerk, like most Kdrama leads were, but he started changing when he fell for her.
Also, Kang Suk was too nice for her. Like even when she wanted to take revenge, Kang Suk supported her decision and waited for her.
