I agree with you though I haven't watched the dramas you have mentioned(definitely going to check them out.) I'm a huge lover of romance usually but some dramas just don't need the romance yet directors still have to force the romance gosh. That's one of the reasons I have barely watched ant Kdramas released in these 2-3 years. I've watched a lot of jap ones with no romance yet were so good. Korea should learn from them, sometimes some dramas would have been a lot better without romance(like memories of alhambra).

YES! If you are still hesitating, give the first three episodes a try. If you still don't like it, then just drop it.

I kind of dropped it halfway. Don't really remember why but I might pick it up again since I love badass female leads. The reviews about the horrible ending is discouraging me from picking it up though.

As for hotel del luna, depends on preferences I guess. Rather than focusing on the main characters, there's mini short stories of each ghost that visits their hotel and slow development of the main plot which not everyone liked. Personally, I'm a fan of IU's and I really loved her character there. The ghosts' stories were really touching and heartbreaking T . T and I definitely do not need to talk abt IU's clothes, hairstyles and accessories which were amazing too.

OMG YESSS HA JI WON <333 Empress Ki is my most favourite drama of all times and Ha Ji won is my most favourite actress. Ha Ji Won is such an amazing actress that always manages to suck me in, and I watch all her dramas just for her. Idk abt others, but I'm a fan of king 2 hearts because of her. I really want to see her back in a historical drama, she's truly the best empress I've ever seen. From the naive and innocent little girl you see in episode 1 to the evil empress you see in the last episode. Every character, episode, and incident was essential in making her become the evil empress she was meant to be. She lets no guy push her around and always stands her ground and kicks their asses.

And omg Woo Soo Ji is severely underrated. My friend didn't like her character and i was like WHAAAT? She was the best character in the drama! I loved how she didn't care about what her coworkers thought of her and even punched one of her male coworkers(or was it her boss? can't rmb) because of the braless incident and loved herself for who she is, she never tried to change herself for other people.

Agree with your list except for princess agents. Personally I would also include Lee Ji Ahn from My Ahjussi, Jang Man Wol from Hotel Del luna, Jo Soo Ji from The guardians, Ji Hae Soo from It's okay that's love, Sang Mi from Save Me, Kim Hang Ah from king 2 hearts.

As long as you don't take the story seriously, and question why a psychopath killer even takes the time to write a diary, this drama is AMAZING!!! Made me laugh from the first ep to the last and it had one of the best endings for a crime drama. Yoon Shi Yoon was amazing! He caught my eye in hit the top and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his dramas.
9/10 from me!

I've hated the king since the start of the drama. it seemed like he had a lot of mental issues and he killed tons of ppl, even ppl he loved, because of that. So at the end, he managed to get a happy ending in the sense that he was free from the position that made him become a monster.
BUT WHAT WAS THAT ENDING??? The past 8++ eps happened for nothing??? So many lives lost and many living in misery because of some misunderstanding like WHAAAAT? So Nok Du has lived all his life so miserably just because he was born on that day and the king was too scared of ppl stealing his throne so he went around killing people only to find out that the one he had to fear wasn't his son but the prince.

All of this drama and tragedy wouldn't have happened if such thing as prophecies didn't exist in korean historicals. They are the main source of tragedy srsly.

I so badly wanted to give it a 9 after all that sweet, cute and funny moments in the drama, including the adorable ending but the appearance of the king really spoilt my mood. Still gonna give it an 8.5/10 as I love Yok Du crossdressing.

I'm seriously pissed after watching the last episode. Don't get me wrong, i really loved this drama, and loved the ending a lot and was planning to give it a 9 until the last 15(?) minutes.

Still recommend everyone to give it a try tho. Yok Du crossdressing is GOLD XD

I really wanted to like this, but hmm. It was not bad as a web series but I really don't get why they had to make the female lead be able to read minds when she did nothing with that power? it was just there to show that it's because she can read minds that's why she doesn't get along with others and is an outcast. This drama could have done so much better without her having that power. Well since it's short anyways, I guess it's worth a try. I give this a 7/10.

Best drama ever. I rewatch this drama almost thrice every year since 2015, still can't get over it.

Didn't mind HJE's screaming in the past but now it is kinda annoying though I do understand why she is screaming(I mean, imagine if Shin Se Gi did all of those things to you, would you just stay still and let him kidnap you or drag you wherever he wants? Well, I would have fainted dramatically lmao. I'm just surprised no one bothered to "help" her despite all her screaming).
If the screaming is what is holding you back from watching this drama, I tell you, you are going to regret it seriously. This is srsly THE BEST OF THE BEST of rom coms. There's so mcuh character development, laughter, and so much to the story that you have yet to find out. Please please give this drama a try if you haven't alr. I love this so much.

I really like oh Ri Jin's family, the relationship between the twins, Ahn Yo Na, Perry Park, and of course Shin Se Gi(my personal favorite. Damn, i miss him alr). Can I please have a drama where the ML's character is similar to Shin Se Gi. I would love to see that kind of characters as main leads. He's such a softie inside that rough shell of his and would do anything for his love. How sweet is that awww.

And omg Ji Sung, please come back with your eyeliner and hairdo like Se Gi's!!! You were so hot as Se Gi. I want to see it again >.<

I shouldn't have started this series. Don't get me wrong, I'm IN LOVE with this series, which is precisely why I shouldn't have started it when the next two seasons hadn't been confirmed. There's so much I'm looking forward to, and so many questions left unanswered and so many meetings(of characters) I would love to see, yet it seems like the future for this series is dim.

I was looking forward to watching UWMA drama and fans like you are making me rethink whether to watch it or not -.-

Not as much as usual rom coms. this is more about slowly accepting someone from a different background as you and start to call him 'hyung' or 'dongsaeng' and help each other out in times of need.
You will see a lot more of the cute bromance kind when the two brothers start dating, then you can see them have double dates, and doing all kinds of things to make their lovers happy.
This bromance is the kind you would do anything for your brother. So it's something that develops over time.

Had a lot of potential, but not much development. Watched it for the hilarious moments. Romance could have been further developed as well. Overall, an okay watch.
