I don't know if it is just me but this drama reminded me a lot of death note. More written in the spoilers below.
I won't name the murderer in case there are ppl who haven't watch the drama reading this comment. 1. In death note, Kira thought of himself as a good person eliminating the "bad" people in the world. In children of nobody, the murderer thought of himself as saving children from the "bad"(abusive/neglect) parents. 2. Both in death note and children of nobody, it's not just one person, but a group of ppl working tgth and trying to mislead the police but it was for diff reasons. Kira just wanted to mislead the police so he wouldn't be found while in this drama, the "murderer" wanted to protect the other ppl working with him. 3. Both stories had one who was eliminating the "bad" ppl and the detective trying to catch them.
I watched this on flight and hence didn't know it had a prequel so I was pretty confused at the start of the movie but it's still easy to follow along and you can pick up most of the necessary info along the way(in case you are wondering whether to start this one or watch the first movie). I loved this movie to bits! It was AMAZING!
Despite the countless cliches this drama had, I just couldn't stop watching it every time I started it. The characters were really what made this drama amazing to me. No matter how many times I rewatched this drama, I fall even more in love with the drama and it's characters.
Coincidentally, i just watched her drama, 'Mother' yesterday and fell in love with her acting all over again. She's just as beautiful and amazing as i had remembered her in I hear your voice. Happy Belated Birthday!
Not really. They lived separately in the end but loved each other till the end. When they were dying(from old age), she was brought back to the palace to be with him as he took his last breath.
does this one have opposing parents since girl is rich
1. He murdered someone and has been to prison(this is what his parents think). Who in their right mind would want their daughter to get married to someone like him? Even I wouldn't, even if he is indeed innocent. 2. Her step mother was his ex-girlfriend before he went to jail(complicated I know, which is why its 133 eps and not 20). Now that's just super awkward for her family and him. Like imagine the step mother you used to hate but only recently started to like turned out to be your boyfriend's ex? Of course the father would be grossed out by the very idea of it so yeah... 3. Her step mother was of course against it. One of the reasons being very obvious... AWKWARD. Second being, she knew that he was the kind of person who puts his family first and love second. If something were to happen to his family, he's ready to abandon his love like he did with her. She wanted her step daughter to love someone who puts her first before family and didn't want her to end up getting hurt like she did.
I know it sounds like too much "drama" and some of you might feel like its too much of a makjang, I would say, give it a try first. The story isn't simple, cuz it has to keep us hooked for 133 eps and a lot of stuff happens but everything was worth it in the end for me. This couple had to overcome so many obstacles to be together and that is another thing I loved about this drama. Their love was unique and the characters were the kinds I have never really seen before.
Would any of you sacrifice 10 years of your lives and willingly take your siblings' place to go to jail? Because I know that I wouldn't, no matter how much I love them.
does this one have opposing parents since girl is rich
This one does have opposing parents but not because she is rich but for other reasons. Her grandfather likes him while her parents want her to break up for other reasons and being rich is not the main one. I'll post the other reasons in another comment, don't read it if you don't want major spoilers for the plot.
This drama was one of my first few taiwanese dramas. i'm surprised I still remember some parts of the story. I thought it was a hilarious drama and didn't mind that it was 82 episodes long. The drama is not really impressive, has it's fair bit of irritating characters, but the humour in the end made my day. Despite it being just mediocre in terms of quality, acting, characters and story, I can't help but feel like rewatching it again just for the humour. If you are wondering whether you should watch this drama, i would say, don't have high expectations and just watch it for the humour. You might enjoy yourself a lot more than you would have expected of a drama with such a low rating and high number of episodes.
I didn't really like Eun Jae's story in this season(Eun Jae, Jin Myung and Yi Na were my favourites in season…
Eun Jae trying all kinds of different ways to make her ex fall for her just seemed really stupid to me. Like, she was the one who wanted to break up in the first place. When Jo Eun pointed that out, I became even more aware of how foolish she had become. Her reason for breaking up was because he had forgotten about their 333rd day of dating when in the past he used to care about all the minor details. Okay, if that's the case then why do you still want to get back together with him? Because you realised you've made a mistake? I remember in Season 1, when Ye Eun was in a bad relationship, everyone was encouraging her to break up but not really saying anything for Eun Jae in this season. I can tell the ex is not a bad person, but he no longer likes her like he used to. No one can force love or affection. Eun Jae should have just moved on instead of clinging onto the ex whom she had broken up with and the others should have stopped her from acting out of character for someone who no longer likes her. But I guess I can't really blame them since they were too busy trying to figure out the letter.
I didn't really like Eun Jae's story in this season(Eun Jae, Jin Myung and Yi Na were my favourites in season 1 so I was a bit disappointed when Eun Jae's plot went down the drain in this season). It's not only because the actress changed(I have nothing against the actress. I think she's pretty) but because her story in this season in general sucked. I skipped most of her scenes. I felt there was a drastic change in her character from the first season and her actions just seemed pathetic to me. Loved the other characters though, especially song ji won. I admit, I wasn't really that fond of her in season 1 but this season totally changed my mind about her. I liked the character development for Ye Eun, found her quite annoying but not someone I could really hate in season 1, but totally loved how her character developed in this season. I was a bit surprised when they introduced a new roommate, I really liked her too. Overall, this season was amazing, except for character development of Eun Jae(I felt embarrassed for her so many times and wished it was her who had moved instead of Kang sunbae. I wanted to like her character but comparing to season 1, there wasn't much progress at all, sadly >.<) and because of that I would only give it a 9 instead of 10.
Finished rewatching this drama for the 12th time and still can't get enough of Ye Hua. Whenever he whispers loving words like "Wo ai ni", I melt into a puddle and start squealing like a mad woman. Without a doubt, the best husband in the world: Ye Hua!!! <3 This drama has made me have high expectations for my future husband. Seems like I won't be getting married in this lifetime >.<
Should I watch this drama? Is it good? Most of the comments are talking about the second couple being more interesting than the main couple... I do like both main actors but if it isn't interesting then I won't watch it.
I didn't think I would end up watching this drama so soon. I was mentally preparing myself for a tragic ending before I could start this drama. Dk what came over me to watch it today, but I binge watched all the eps and found myself crying through most of the last few eps. Not the best historical drama I've watched, but I think this historical drama had one of the best endings I've ever seen in a historical drama. It wrapped up the whole drama nicely and didn't make me feel like strangling someone by the end. I would rate this a 9/10.
I enjoyed watching majority of the drama :) There were some eps after ep 20 I didn't really like but the last few eps totally saved me from dropping the drama. It was a really cute and fluffy romance, I enjoyed watching them bicker and fight. Yes, the storyline is very cliche, not much "Drama" going on, most characters don't really have the maturity level of university students', but if you are looking for a cute and fluffy romance, this one is a really good watch. I have a lot of issues with the realistic aspect of this show and all the plot holes but enjoyment wise, this is easily a 9/10. This is not really a drama I would usually watch but I'm going through stressful times right now and this gave me the break I really needed. Overall, 8.5/10 :D (The supporting characters were sometimes really ridiculous and annoying and acted really immature, which was something I couldn't ignore so the overall score is a bit lower than the enjoyment rating)
I don't mind tragedies but a cheating main lead with KIDS?! Tell me the wife is dead or he's divorced, otherwise, I'm most likely not gonna watch it no matter how much I like LJS and SHS. The only time I watch this kind of drama is when the partner is abusive/cheating on her husband as well, which doesn't really seem to be the case here. I can see that LJS is trying out a mature role after so many rom coms, but still... Think about the wife and the kids man >.<
I can't wait for this drama to start airing!!! CJH and JNR are both my favourite actors. CJH is seriously good at emotional dramas. He always makes me fall in love with him within 5 minutes of the show. I've been a huge fan of his since Gu Family Book. JNR is really good at romance dramas and I've loved her since I watched my bratty princess. Both of them seem like an interesting match to me so looking forward to the drama :)
I ain't going to judge this drama just because of one actor. I really don't get why you all have to post hate comments about the actor on this drama's page. I wanted to read the comments to see your responses for the DRAMA not the ACTOR's personal life.
Let's watch this drama for the story, the acting, the OSTs and all the effort put in by various groups of people. I have nothing to say if this drama truly sucks but please don't hate it because you hate one actor's personal life. If you have anything you want to talk about the actor, please go to his page to continue the discussion.
