I completely agree with you. Romanticization of mental health was one of the reasons why i dropped it's okay not to be okay. Im a doctor and even though im not specialized in psychiatry, i do have some knowledge of it and i simply couldn't understand why ko mun yeong's aspd seemed to revolve around her being savage. Thats it. Its not the actress who's at fault but the makers. Aspd is not being 'savage' or being 'cool'. Also anothet thing that bothered me was how they dealt with the sleep paralysis part. Sleep paralysis cant disappear just because you're next to someone you love *facepalm*
Even though kill me heal me wasn't perfect but i felt that it tackled mental illness better

I cant be the only one hoping that they end this season with do kang woo's return from the dead? We dont know if he truly is dead now do we? I just loved the dynamic between the two leads in season 2 and 3. While season 4 is epic, i still want do kang woo to be alive

This was such a good drama. When a show has a good and satisfying ending, i usually dont ask for a season 2 but with this show I would really like another season. Also this show reminded me of one of my all time favourite book series which is lockwood and co by jonathan stroud. Fans of this show should give those books a read too.
My only gripe was that i wished they had included atleast one haunted mansion case lol :P like the one at the very end, i wish we could have seen a case like that instead of just a hint of it in the ending scene.

Good job, i needed a good laugh :P we are on a site where fhe only means of communication is through the words we write via phones or computers. Obviously im going to concentrate on the words you write, what else am i supposed to concentrate on? Now moving onto the next part (since you know i love concentrating on the words lol seriously how old are you?) Apparently i did not see the main meaning behind your classy criticism of the main actress (if that sounded sarcastic to you I'd like to tell you that yes, yes it was) so what main meaning am i missing here? The original comment writes one or two sentences about the acting and the rest is all about the way she looks, her hairstyle, that shes unhygienic etc. You then proceed to say you agree. No, you dont say "i dont agree about the part regarding her face im only talking about her acting". No dear child. What you do is agree with everything the original comment said and then proceed to write a hate filled rant against the actress, not even once mentioning her acting. The first time you mentioned her acting was when i called you out. But instead of accepting that your choice of words was poor you defend yourself by now bringing in her acting.
2- So you think that because this is a western site, the actress will never read these comments and hence any hate or spite filled rant is perfectly okay. Did i get that right? I wouldn't want to be accused of judging people or being told to read again after all. Oh and the highlight! Im Apparently the hero! So does that make you the villain? Oh how adorable (no seriously how old are you? 12? 13? 14? Cant be older than that) any way, that is your come-back. Okay first of all we dont live in a world without internet. If i can see the comments and you can see the comments, you think the people acting in the show cant? I mean they read comments on Instagram which is social media app created by the west. Youtube is also western. So basically your argument is that because this is western site, the actress wont read it and so you can write whatever you want. Nice. Real classy of you. What if the actress does read the comments? Imagine yourself working, it can be any job and you hear someone bash you like this. Your comment wasnt even constructive criticism! Like how was that comment going to help anyone? Take my advice and say everything you said to this actress to a loved one. Tell them they dont have the features to do whatever job it is that they are doing. Tell them they make you go ewwwwwww. If you cant say what you are writing to a loved one, then dont write it. Words can hurt and cause irreparable damage. People like sulli, go hara and many others are examples.
3- what makes you think an idol could have done better than an actress who was in an oscar winning movie? Also by your logic because im calling you out on your comment, i should be her fanclub president? How did you even connect those dots?
4- you know what seems cringey and disgusting? Your comments. Its obvious that you know you were in the wrong but you dont want to admit it. Well fine. Dont. Cuz Apparently it is perfectly normal to say that cringey people are disgusting. Listen here child, disgust is a very strong word. And when you use it for another human, the reason should definitely be stronger than "ewwwww they make me cringe!"

You can either learn from this or stay adamant and continue fighting. And if you came to this show only to watch idol actors and hate on the one who isnt an idol, maybe you shouldnt have watched it in the first place. Now before you accuse me of judging you, you literall said "I'm rooting to it since alot of lovely idols are there, they're doing great each" and followed by "they literally brought everyone who are originally idols why did they not do the same with her ?????"

Read properly? Judging people? The original comment literally says "i really cannot stand the face of the main lead girl" to which YOUR comment replied with "omg someone finally spit that out, thats my opinion as well". Then you went on to say she does not have the features of an idol. Also that she disgusted you. If english is not your first language then fine i can understand it, but the words you used do not describe acting. They desribe the appearance. Acting can be bad but not disgusting. Features are about a person's appearance. I did not assume anything or judge anything. Your entire comment is a hate rant on a girl working hard in a show. If she wasnt talented, you think the renowned director of parasite would have chosen her? If you dont like the show atleast be respectful about it. You would not like people talking about you this way would you? Dont say the words that you wouldn't like to be said about yourself. And her personality is not the character she is paying. Stop hating an actor because of the character.

Bad does not mean trash. Bad is subjective. Bad means one did not like the ending and would have liked it to end another way. Bad means i wont rewatch it or recommend it because it made ME feel bad. Trash means im insulting the drama. Bad ending means something else. It just means the ending wasn't good enough for me. Bad means it could have been better. I never used the word trash here. OP didnt either. This is my opinion. You can like tragic endings. I dont. So for me this drama had a bad ending

I say tragic=bad. If a drama does not leave me with happiness or hope and only makes me feel heavy or sad, then i dont like it. I see enough of death in my profession. And what i hate above all is watching the characters going through one hardship after another and getting nothing in the end. Why cant the world of fiction deviate from the sad realities of the world? I don't know about you but i watch dramas for an escape. Not to see the same realities i saw all day. As for the original comment above, i believe the "they deserved a better ending " was meant for th4 characters.

Yeah i agree with you. It seems to be an annoying trend in many dramas (not just korean).

Like take for example chicago typewriter. That too talked about a time in korean history that had a lot of tragedies. But what I liked about the show was that it showed us hope. That even though the freedom fighters lost their lives for the cause, they were reincarnated and got to see the fruits of their efforts and were able to once again reunite with their love. That even though their love was doomed in their previous lives, they found it again in the next life. That was hope and happiness. Im just so tired of writers choosing to end shows on a tragic note. It simply isnt necessary. We have seen enough death and sadness in our lives, especially in this pandemic. Do we really need to see it in the fictional world of dramas?

I feel like they kinda forced a tragic ending. Most of us already know what a dark period this was in korea. And those that did not know prior to watching this show would have found out as well when they started the show. When a show is based on something tragic, would it be so bad to show a happy and hopeful ending? Telling us that even though things were bad back then, there were people who lived and survived these tragic times.

Do read my entire comment and not just the last line. I clearly addressed the people who only write stuff like "whats so special about this" or "overrated". One line negative comments. I addressed them when i said they should just move on if that's all they are gonna say. There are many comments on this site about how they dont like the show. But they follow it up with a reasoning. Your comment had no point to it. It was just negative comment for the sake of negativity. Im not trying to pick a fight with people who dislike this show. Your comment however did not seem nice. If you have something to say about the show, you have every right. You want to dislike a show, you have every right. But when you go out of the way to write a one line comment on how you dont get the hype and nothing else.....well then freedom of speech works both ways. Lets not fight over a fictional show

Nah, shes literally an important person in every student's plot line. I dont feel like shes a secondary character

Hasnt done much! She and prof yang have been a strength to the students from the very first episode! Her strong support of yang, helping the students out when they needed it, getting them to like a dry subject like civil code, she has been important throughout. The plot of this show isnt just about who killed who. Its about law school and the struggles the students face, the questions they ask and the pressure of making it in the field. Prof kim has been important in all of that

I actually like the fact that they chose assembly man ko as the villain. I wanted him to be the villain so bad. A villain doesnt necessarily have to be someone that surprises you. A good plot isnt necessarily one that makes you guess who the villain is. Because getting the villain and finding out their motive is equally important to thr plot. They chose the most obvious guy but i don't mind it at all. And to me the villain isnt one dimensional at all.
