Seemed like a massive overreaction to me, they're really sensitive over there.
I dont think so, i put myself in their shoes and realized that if a show was made about my country's history and distorted it, my country (including me) would have reacted similarly because we are proud of our history. The same goes for them. After all they are the people who study this in schools. There are several figures in their history that are considered important. We shouldn't comment on how they should or shouldnt have reacted. T
Im sad that this was cancelled but i wont start bashing koreans for it because after all its THEIR history. Their culture. If it offended them, then there must have been something wrong with the show.
I dont understand, why hasnt netflix renewed this for a season 3 yet? They renewed it for season 2 pretty quick, what are they waiting for now? If the reason is that they want to air the special episode for first, that makes no sense. They can atleast give the makers a greenlight so that they start working on season 3
Confused about these bad reviews! Thanks to two of my friends who urged me to watch this drama otherwise the bad…
I think the assumption that the people who disliked this drama are those who dont have a good brain is rude. This show was not for me. Does that mean i start looking down on those who liked it? No. Everyone has their opinion. I have watched and loved shows like Stranger (both seasons), Liar game, Beyond evil, Signal, Kairos, Train, Bad Guys, The Guest, Chicago Typewriter, Circle, The Uncanny Counter, Nobody Knows, Save me. I am currently watching Law School. In my opinion these shows required more brain power than this. This is my opinion though and other viewers are more than welcome to consider this the best show ever. The point of telling you the names of the shows ive watched is that im not new to shows that have complicated concepts and require, to quote you, a good brain and mind work.
They don't actually say whether it's Kang Sol A or B. I'm assuming he just said Kang Sol and everyone just assumed…
I have another take on this. I think Joonhwi did in fact say Sol B. Because the words exchanged between him and Sol A later seem to imply that he took her name. Now why would he do this? I have two possibilities in my mind. Obviously i can be wrong but here goes 1) Sol B is actually seo byung ju's daughter. This theory has actually been on my mind ever since i noted the similarities between the pair of glasses worn by Sol B and seo byung ju. And its not just that they are similar, its the way the scene was played out that brought my attention to them in the first place. When we are looking at seo byung ju's glasses and suddenly the scene shifts to joon hwi picking up Sol B's glasses. Obviously my theory isnt only based on this. So I'll move on to the main reason why i think sol b is seo byung ju's daughter: sol b's mom specifically chose seo byung ju's paper for her daughter to plagiarise. Why? She could have chosen anyone, why him? Because she must have been absolutely certain that he would never out Sol B. And why would he not? If she is his daughter. Seo byung ju and sol b's mom have a shared past where she was about to marry him but then didn't. But that cant be the only reason for her to choose his paper. Had he be the one to leave her, i would have understood why she chose his paper as form of twisted revenge. But it is heavily implied that SHE left HIM. So what if, just what if she was pregnant with sol B when she married vice dean kang? Sol B's mom probably thinks the paper was sol b's birthright. She's twisted enough to think like that. Now joonhwi is a smart one. He probably found out that sol b is his cousin. This would then tie in with why he said he's looking out for her. My second theory is much shorter: 2) joonhwi being a smart guy has probably clued in on sol b having a crush on him and is going to use it to get her to fess up on the plagiarism thereby helping prof yang. We have already seen an example of this when joonhwi manipulated lee manho into giving his blood to prof yang.
We obviously know who joonhwi really cares about. Have we seen him cook something for sol b? Walk her home? Stay outside her home all night just to keep an eye on the neighbour? Try to help her in class? Nope. And with Sol A he is impulsive. He is not calculated the way he is with everyone else
Umm have you ever been the president of a school club? Because i have and i was pretty much just like him. I took…
Your comment makes no sense to me whatsoever. Firstly you said that maybe you're not enjoying the drama because you're too old for it which is why i brought about my experience. Your personal experiences do have an influence on the shows or books you read. Since you think the male lead is a strange character its obvious that you have a different experience. Bringing my experience here is not unrelated to the drama because it clearly talks about why i relate to thr character. Secondly, no one is submissive to him. They are intimidated. And thats normal. Theres always a hierarchy in every set up be it schools , universities or workplace. There are some who are followers, some who are bystanders or spectators and some who take the lead. I don't why you are watching this show if you think the writing is cheap. I find the simplicity endearing. Also there wasnt any instance in which the male lead gave a solution to a glaringly easy problem. What part are you even referring to?
My guess: BHR is involved in some bullying thing coz of which some other girl had died which so hyun knows. But…
My guess is that BHR was the one who was bullied and it would break her persona if people find out that she was vulnerable enough to be bullied. My guess is that so hyun and her were best friends and both were likely bullied and something happened to BHR while she defended so hyun while so hyun did nothing and stood by the side (probably due to some misunderstanding between the two) because neither of them are guilty towards each other.
Why does the male lead act like he is the CEO of a conglomerate? It's just a school club LMAO. And they also make…
Btw i should add that im in my late 20s and i still find the drama relatable so i don't think its cuz your older now. Its just that everyone has different experiences etc

I don't understand why this series is getting so much hate especially the main couple I mean the main lead cannot…
I actually think it's kinda refreshing to have a female lead who is not a people pleaser and kinda grumpy (cuz im a grumpy person lol) and i like how the male lead is already warming up to her. Its just a preference but i really like it when the female and male lead are arrogant or cold and the male lead is the first one to melt
