Is Lee Hong naes character good in this one? I was rewatching The Uncanny Counter and was still blown away by his performance the third time around. I couldn't even hate him one bit.
Wanted to find something else he was in, this seems he has a larger role than most of his stuff?
This season isn't bad, but I know why it's less loved, So Mun is absent. The Actor for So Mun got ridiculous false bullying allegations after season 1 (his rize to popularity, shocker 🙄) and is STILL going through crap because of it and is doing everything he can to fight against it. No wonder he was barely here, Knetizens will believe anything and destroy people's lives because they enjoy it. Not to mention the judge sounds dirty and crooked with his case. Such a shame, I'll be giving him my full support.
If he's got insta, I'm going to go follow him in support. He's been through enough, give him back all the roles he lost because of this crap and stop treating him like garbage SK.
Here goes me shipping chirisu down the drain. I gotta find a different username for mdl and elsewhere. It goes…
I swear they do it because they know they'll get away with it. Japan is notorious for violence against women being dismissed and it's extremely common, as if they think it's normal to be this way as long as it's behind closed doors. Truly scary.
I have a small handful of dramas on hold, mainly because of them either having too fast of subtitles or Disney+ translating everything so poorly, but I need to finish them for the same reason 😭💀
I think my problem personally with it isn't that he's a bum, he's actually the only one trying and is constantly…
I feel like he's having to carry the emotional weight of everything going on around him but nobody has asked him about himself or thought about the things he's had to handle in his life, they dump it onto him without thinking about how it could make him feel in the process. The Islanders are very selfish in this respect, even the doctors. He's completely new there but they threw several of their own problems onto him without a second thought, which he has graciously taken quite well considering.
He's always doing things for others, e.g Buying her hamburger candies because she said she liked hamburgers, helping out her grandmother such as being there for her at the hospital, even giving her his personal number out of kindness, taking care of townspeople even though they won't take his advice, leave out pertinent medical information etc. (loved how that was resolved though no doubt, I can't be mad at that old man.), he was told by Hong min kis character (can't remember the characters name, sorry lol) that he should've told Ha Ri about her grandmother but he was only doing what a good doctor would do, and so on.
He tries, he tries a lot, but to no avail. Every attempt he makes to be understanding and helpful is met with opposition left and right. It's like nothing goes right for him and he's put down 24/7. He's there to be the FL's emotional garbage can for what's going on with her (no problems with that, maybe she needs it), but to do everything for her while she pushes him away. The effort is not being equally put in, which is a huge problem I have with Kdramas that are romance based.
Now I haven't seen episode 8 so I don't know what happens there, but these are only my personal observations that I have noticed and don't click with. I know some may disagree, but that's totally okay too! :)
I don't understand why people are hating? I thought the recent episodes were really really good, although before…
I think my problem personally with it isn't that he's a bum, he's actually the only one trying and is constantly having to handle everyone's stuff, even besides medical things.
It's happening again where I'm stuck, can't bring myself to start the 8th episode. I think 3&4 were my favorites. Whichever one has the silly face photo was good (can't remember which one it was), but the rest have been a bit too bland for my taste.
Ji Ui is only here to be everyone else's emotional punching bag, while nobody else puts in the same effort as he does trying to stay faithful to patients wishes and keep relationships together. He's getting crapped on for no reason. He's better than me, I'd leave and never look back.
I'm not usually partial to or have any Chinese actors that are my favorite, but you can't deny he's a really great actor that has this unexplainable screen presence and charisma. I have 0 issues with a child's parents being in the entertainment industry and raising them up in it if they actually have talent, and boyyyy does he.
On a different note I think ppl should stop seeing chiyeon as a villain or some annoying SML, he likes hari and…
It went from hating on the ML for being ugly and saying the SML is better looking, to hating on the SML because he just... exists. Can't believe how fast it went from "ML sucks" to "SML sucks" when they're both fine lol People gotta hate someone I guess.
Wanted to find something else he was in, this seems he has a larger role than most of his stuff?
Good luck 👊🏻
