Please make sure you rate it, every episode if possible, I see the haters are trying to lower the rating, and somehow they did.... It has 13k listed as watcher and only 5k as raters. Please people, if you loved it, rate it well. Unfortunately those who rate it are also those who want to see it fail because of some stupid prejudice against the actors, and nothing to do with the actual show.

He is definitely a moody kid at the beginning of the show, so I get how you could think that.

DH is a victim of Stockholm Syndrome where you become affectionate to your captor as a way to survive. Think how stressful that would be, so you wouldn't want a young naive girl to play the part. it would not be believable. She's being continually manipulated at the edge of a knife, moment by moment. You must be young to have such a prejudice. As you age you realize age is just a number, there are very mature young people and very immature old people. Life is never about everything being set in concrete, you won't get that until you get older.

Still at a loss why this hasn't hit at least an 8.9, when it should actually be a 9 ! hmm. Please remember to rate it!

If no one has recommended yet "Lost You Forever" is Good, not quite the same but still intriguing and interesting. I found some solace in Joy of Life 2 and "Scent of Time" which I just rewatched. It's odd but also interesting and hard to "put down".

I rarely, if ever cry, and this was the first, after 12 years of K and C drama, to make me cry. I was surprised to find myself tearing up and crying, like "what is going on???" lol

I like it! Because it's different and quirky. It's giving me a touch of "Parasite" vibes. The Lead reminds me of a Korean Paul Dano in "Little Miss Sunshine" perfect flat effect.

IMO some things: 1) the still snowballing effect of Legend of Shen Li due to word of mouth and latecomers just watching the series and rating it, 2) The "after effect" of Shen Li. I like JoL2, but it's much more complex. 3) Like many have said, they are waiting for the entire season to drop until they watch. So it may just be a matter of time before it rises in the ratings. Just theories. The more amazing thing is that TLOSL is still that highly rated after a month or so after it's air dates.
