Black is a textbook sociopath if you watch how he portrayed and going along with the symptoms of sociopathy. Lying, manipulative, disregard for their/others safety, law breaking, aggression...even as a child he was more outspoken and reckless than White was. It almost makes sense that Black would end up the way he did, it almost makes me think that he doesn't really care about fairness or justice (or at least doesn't care as much as the others might) he's just doing whatever the hell he wants without restraint because to him it is a kind of freedom to be how he is without question.
I do want to watch this but 50 eps is waaay too long for this kind of plot, 16 eps would be the perfect amount to get things over and done with and sometimes even those are too draggy...
Demanding that she be grateful that the step-mom raised her is really not right, especially when she clearly plays favorites with her own biological son. Defending him, giving him better food, indulging his partying and laziness... Now they stupidly wasted all their money, leaving all of them homeless, and this girl is supposed to just brush it off and forgive them? No. Kids don't ask to be born or choose who raises them, so demanding respect for a childhood where she clearly didn't feel prioritized and loved (and the fact that the dad refuses to explain things about her mom to her) is just not on. I am curious how this will all play out but 50 eps is gonna be very hard to get through...
Leo and Fiat are cute, I like that so far they haven't had any seriously toxic moments in their relationship, like even if they get jealous/possessive it's more sweet then it is horrible. Leon is cute but I don't see the appeal of Pob, like there is nothing to his personality other than he likes cats. That's literally the only thing that defines his character. Also, it's obvious he's in love with Leo because he had his picture in his phone and he probably used the orphanage stuff as an excuse to talk to him and then later diffuse situation. He may not steal another persons boyfriend but that doesn't mean a crush goes away or you can't have one. I hope Leo doesn't blow up in the next episode, it'll just strain the relationship...
Leon with his sex advice was fricking hilarious...squeeze him till he's dry on the bed...honestly Fist should do that anyway... So far this series is pretty darn enjoyable, you can see how much Leo cares for Fiat and how much Fiat is trying to be a better person for him. So far no insanely toxic situations which I'm honestly grateful for and I really hope that carries throughout the whole show.
This was a lovely adaptation, so enjoyable, there wasn't a moment that I didn't like it. But it was unfortunately very short and it ended rather abruptly. I would have like a more mutual confession like in the anime and although I wasn't expecting much from the kisses, the barely there press of lips did take away from the impact of the scenes. But I liked it for what it was, and I will definitely be watching the anime for 4th time now. I hope this gets sequel for Akihiko and Haruki...
"I saw myself in Noh Shin Woo" that for me was something really powerful and telling for how the direction of this story would go. When he could no longer only see Daon, TK found himself looking at things from a different perspective and found that in Shin Woo. Someone to match his honesty, loneliness, and fearlessness in confessing love. Similarly, I think Daon found himself in TK, or rather who he wanted to be, honest, brave, curious and full of self discovery...in a way he probably wasn't ready for a relationship because he hasn't grown as a person yet, he would just try to make TK happy all the time while never focusing on his own issues. I'm actually happy that TK ended up with Shin Woo, in some odd and cute way they just seem to complete each other, Shin Woo's awkward and TK brutal honestly is kinda a perfect match, and they are so cute together, when Shin Woo smiles my heart melts like butter and TK was always the one who brought out that side of him. Their kiss was so sweet, if not unfairly short, but I'll take it since I wasn't even expecting one. Also, I can't be the only one who thinks this isn't the end. First of all, who is Lee Tae Sung? The teacher has clearly given Namgoong advice about confessing and regret because Namgoong has passed that advice down throughout the series so I'm guessing the teacher is also gay and his first love suddenly popped back into his life? Also Namgoong clearly has feelings for So Hee but she hasn't put her feelings for Daon to rest yet and he's still finding himself and probably still questioning his sexuality, so there's more there as well. It just doesn't feel done yet and frankly I think a sequel would be awesome and since TK and Shin Woo are happily together, it can dive more deeply into the other characters. Daon's issues with his family, Namgoong and and So Hee, the teacher and the mystery man....also I firmly believe that it should be called Light On Us instead of Me. I'm hoping they have plans for another season because if they didn't then they could have easily tied up all the loose ends in the last two eps but they left so much out in the open that there just has to be some idea in place, otherwise why do it? Fingers crossed but either way, this one of the most enjoyable series I've watched in a while.

His issues with abandonment stem straight from childhood and that's a really tough mentality to break free from so it's almost not hard to see why he slept around. What that girl said was also true, yes he's been with a lot of people but he never went out of his way to hurt someone and let's be honest, if it was a hetero relationship and Leo was the inexperienced "girl" and Fiat the overly-experienced man...no one would even bat an eyelash Stay out of people's sexual pasts, regardless of if they themselves regret it or not, it's not like Fiat is the only person in the world who has had sex.
Although I haven't seen the ep yet since I'm waiting for the finale, I feel like people are judging the characters too harshly... Understand that these are a bunch of stupid TEENAGERS who don't have the sense, patience, or maturity to act like adults in these confusing situations. Naturally feelings are are always changing, liking more than one person, not knowing who you like more, wanting someone a lot and even getting impatient to have the feelings returned...they're literally kids finding their own way in life and naturally they're not gonna get it right the first time but that's all part of the journey to growing up.
I like everything you said up to the last part. I don't want a season two where they drag this particular love…
Of course a 2nd season is unnecessary, I was just giving an example of what could potentially happen if there were a 2nd one. This is playing out to have a pretty conclusive ending so...
These two eps were really beautifully done. At first I thought I wouldn't like if TK went with Shin Woo because they hadn't been given the screen time and focus like it did with Daon but that is seems more intentional than it did before. Like with the texts that were never read, supporting unseen from the background, Shin Woo has always been there for TK, liking him and never expecting anything in return and that was the same with his confession, he let TK know that he thinks of him but doesn't expect it to be returned. So Hee knew she did wrong the moment she posted the picture and she regretted hurting everyone involved, not just Daon so I'd say that's a good start and I'm glad they're not rushing to forgive her, they know it's a process to rebuild a broken trust. Daon is coming to terms with his feelings, he's not like Shin Woo who can calmly accept his feelings for TK and that's ok, it's not the same for everyone but that doesn't invalidate his feelings for TK because obviously he has them. Even TK, maybe he did confuse friendship for feelings with Daon but that doesn't take away that he did have feelings for him, just like how he is starting to have heart flutters and waiting for texts from Shin Woo. Everyone's feelings mattered, everyone had their own journey...now it's just a question of who you see as a part of your romantic future and the choice will be solely up to TK. I'm not too worried about a bad ending because they are shown to still be friends at the end of it with that scene on the beach, so whoever is endgame, at least they're all still together. Two more eps doesn't feel like enough but with how things have been so far I think it'll be fine. If they had amplified the romance and angst between Daon and TK and only had Shin Woo confess at the very last ep then a 2nd season would be awesome with TK, Shin Woo and Namgoong going to the same Uni and Daon was sent away to study abroad but transfers to their school and this time he and Shin Woo become proper rivals who have learned a bit more about life and what they want for themselves...
