There was a previous post regarding a theory about Dan, Marc and the other friend. I'm guessing that Dan's trying to keep both of his friends from confessing to him as well.

Your thoughts about Victor are very true. They really haven't delved into anything about the Victor character, besides him being a photographer on vacation in Thailand. He's not bad, and I can see why Tontae is drawn towards him: He's different, new, and exciting towards someone, who's proably never left his village.

As for Somo, I think I'm just mean, but she admitted that she knew Nankrai has always been drawn towards Tontae, but she just wanted "1 percent" of his love. I'm sorry. Why would you do that to yourself? How would she feel if Nankrai had accepted her feelings, started dating her, or even attempted to marry her, and then in the not-so-long future, find out that her "1 percent husband" is cheating on her with another man in the village, be it Tontae or anyone else, because Nankrai has never been romantically or physically attracted towards her?

If know that the script wants us to sympathize with Somo and see similarities between her and Nankrai, but she made herself look foolish.

I don't know what the outcome will be, but for right now, Tontae only has brotherly affection/feelings for his best friend. Which is something that is both painful, along with delusionally hopeful for Nankrai. He still has his best friend in his life. He has to either accept that Tontae will never return romantic feelings for him, and start opening himself up to the possibility of a romantic relationship with another man. Or, keep himself waiting on the sidelines for when Victor leaves Thailand and he tries to confess his feelings again for Tontae.

Same. I also don't try to read up too much about any upcoming series that may spark my initial interest. I manage my own expectations.

It really is childish behavior, but this "engagement" by these fandoms makes them feel like they are "contributing" to the success/reception of their favs work. When in reality, they are only making their own emotional well-being worse. Looking at the comments thread for the other series, it seems like everyone is at each other's throats over a show that they've been anticipating for 3 years.

I'm watching and enjoying both The Next Prince, and Reset. I don't see these two shows as competing against each other.

Agreed. The series isn't prolonging the development and progression of all the pairings (including Per and Tar) until episodes 9 to 10. The series is titled "Boys In Love", not "Boys Love In Jeopardy To Make Drama Fans Happy".

Well, the sex scenes are great and it's a major part of the plot and storyline for the main characters. It wouldn't make any sense for the sex scenes to be bad, because the sexual attraction between Sorn and Jun is what got them together in the first place.

It was never love at first sight. It was pure lust.

I truly believe that the above sentence is stuck repeatedly inside Jun's mind. He's been the honest one, throughout his interactions with Sorn. Even when he got drunk, he admitted multiple times, that he actually likes Sorn. He remembered what he said to him the morning after, so to hear Sorn state that he just cannot have a relationship with him was it for him.

As folks have repeatedly stated, the "stubborn one" has always been Sorn in his stance of using sex to maintain a connection with Jun.

I think that Sorn's scared that Jun's feelings for him aren't real enough, and that he's "too young" to want to be involved with someone like him.

Momma's house must be very sound proof. Sorn was making damn sure that Jun knows who exactly makes his toes curl that late afternoon.

Even lesbians can succumb to the "fever" after having sex. 😂 😂

There is the theme regarding the restrictions placed upon these performers in CPs, by their management, the advertisers, and a segment of their fanbases.

Pan has a working CP with the other dude, yet some random stranger "fan", posted up a photo of him and P together in Japan, which caused absolute mayhem back in Bangkok.

Tontae and Plai talk about "imaginary pairings" to P, to get him to understand that this is just part of what Pan and the other dude have to deal with, in order to maintain their brand deals, fans, and careers. Yet, what I gather from all of this is that some of these fans imaginations are so very weak, that they cannot handle any sort of truth "shattering" their fantasies.

The smirk on Paytai's face when Ramil dropped his glass on the floor, to get his "pet's attention" was well played by Paytai. I feel like he wants everyone to know that Ramil is HIS Prince. Ramil is constantly worried about Paytai. Either thinking that Paytai is gaining interest in the other Prince, seeing that Khanin is actively pursuing his bodyguard, and scared that his own father will take his "pet" away from him.

Paytai wants Ramil to make a stand for himself AND them as a couple.

We really do have to stop trying to minimize these types of storylines, because we don't want to harsh anyone's buzz or fantasies. I talk about needing to see consent presented in these BLs, because there seems to be this idea that having these characters acknowledge their attraction to one another in an open way, so that there is no confusion, misunderstanding, is seen as boring, dull, and "unrealistic". While somehow watching one character sexually assault another character, who is under duress is seen as "titillating" by others.

That all of this is "different", because it features two male characters.

Mark, Ohm, and the rest of the cast have a lovely onscreen chemistry, but I truly believe that for however many years, GMMTV was looking for the perfect leads for this series, they should have focused on how to adapt from book to BL. I'm glad that there is support from the fans AND the company in moving forward in establishing Mark and Ohm as a new CP for GMMTV.

Jorn has been obsessed with Chain from the first episode. Jorn has kept being mad at Chain as some sort of fixated hobby, while Sun and those two other enablers have looked on in amusement. Jorn's ex girlfriend left him, for whatever reason due to not wanting to be with him. Chain never "took" Jorn's girl. Hell, even regarding the situation with Sun's girlfriend, she was the one that literally made the first move on Chain in front of Sun.

And while it’s okay for fiction to explore dark themes and complex dynamics, we need to be honest about what we’re seeing. I'm going to be honest, I am enjoying the connection between TK and Victor, much to my NanKrai 4Ever preference. The storyline is definitely solid regarding the growing feelings between TK and Victor, with NanKrai having to see his unrequited love enjoying his time with another man.

I'm so glad that Dan is at least aware of what's going on in their group of friends, and has gotten the other guys to try to cheer up NanKrai.
