I love that with Shuuto being a part of Hiroto and Michito's lives, they are gaining more help to support each other as a family. Their elderly neighbor. Michito's director at the art school. Hiroto's co-workers. The X stranger, and now the tabloid reporters.

"ooh I think that X person is really helping kids that are abused… because I thought that Mio might had been abused before and she is connected to him😳"

I think that the X person told Mio who he is, and that he's trying to keep Shuuto safe from harm. She's still in communication with that individual. They're joining together to help keep that family safe. She's definitely interested in Hiroto.

"aoi if she is the one dead… was probably killed by her husband…"

Either the husband, or someone from his family may have harmed Aoi.

At the end of the day, hopefully it's an upfront paid job for all these performers. It's crystal clear that New, the director was chosen, because this is what he does best in the opinions of these production companies. "We Are The Series", "FourEver You The Series", and this Sunday's premiere of "Perfect10Liners The Series". All premiering in 2024.

I hate to say it but at this point the only thing keeping me interested in this series is Pond's handsomeness…
"It would be soooo nice if they spent less time on the females feeling sorry for themselves or being loud and more time with the other main characters. I know what the director and writer are trying to do, but as others have said the pacing is off. And the story is jumbled and something we've seen done better many times before."

I really do not understand why the screenwriter has Hill's friend STILL hung-up, silent, and waiting in the wings for him to finally see her as more than just a friend. She comes across desperate, needy, and willingly blind to how Hill has never looked at her, the way he does with Ter. This is even after those two haven't been around each other in over 2 years.

We have seen this sort of plot over and over again, but it's their bread and butter aka money maker.

Pond and Cooheart have nice chemistry together, and they're both bringing the amount of sweetness needed for the characters they're portraying as Hill and Ter in this series. These are two young college students who have had unknown crushes on each other for years. Now that those words/feelings have been expressed, we will get the second pairing of Johan and North started.

Look, almost the entire cast is a little long in the tooth to be portraying freshman and juniors in college, but at least these performers have a couple of series under their belts. No one looks like they are lost in the headlights due to not having experience being in other shows.
Their return to visit their college campus, where they first met was a lovely episode. The love between Itsuki and Fuyu grew out of their friendship for one another, and when it became clear to Itsuki that she felt more than friends feelings for Fuyu, she took her time, and waited for the moment that she could share her feelings for her. Having Fuyu express that she wasn't torn up that her boyfriend was actually cheating on her at that time, and that she felt more for Itsuki was lovely to see. Maybe she had that realization months before, but wasn't able to see that her feelings were share with Itsuki, until she confessed to her.

I am glad that all three of the adults in Tsuki's life, are making plans to stay in Japan to help raise her. That they all get a second chance at achieving their happiness warms my heart.

Such a lovely episode

I had the same thought during the finale sex scene. Only my brain framed it as a character issue rather than an…
"Do you believe it's the males or females in the BL world who don't want the top/bottom stereotype to die? Or is it both?"

The stereotype won't really change due to a majority of viewers preferences. There's the whole thing about the "height difference" between the characters. This fixation on the "bottom" being "so smol", havinh a "tiny waist". Being able to being lifted by the "top".

I get it, but I love that in "Pit Babe", we got to see things switched up between Babe and his Charlie. Charlie had Babe pining for him, and not just in the bedroom. Babe was finally at ease to let someone into his life and world as a romantic partner.

These reverse tropes can happen, but TPTB have to take the chance to make it happen.

So, we have the "Mysterious Man In White" that is helping to keep Lion aka Shutto with Hiroto and Michito. While we have the detective suspicious of the father, and now the investigative reporter is interested in the story.
Two simple, but important words said (not out of jealousy, nor anger, but clear observation) by Yeoruem:
"I lost."

She saw two women, in love finally enjoying themselves, without a care in the world about who was watching them. She knew that Itsuki has never, and will never return the feelings of love that she has for Fuyu towards her.

She can now truly be a good friend to both Itsuki and Fuyu.

Itsuki's grandmother apologizing to her, regarding the things she had wished for Itsuki to give her was amazing. It was something, that may have sounded usual to her, but in Itsuki's mind, it's just another thing, on a huge list that she could never achieve, because of her sexuality.

Seeing grandma fully accept Itsuki, in front of Fuyu and Yeoruem brought happy, yet sad emotions. Those two will never have an important person from their family embrace them in that way.

I also caught this mini BL series (from Hong Kong right?) and also enjoyed it.

I'm glad that George ended his relationship/engagement to his fiancée, without knowing if he could try to start a new relationship with Eric.

I also liked that George's non-interest in making choices in his life regarding his job, interests, and goals, not feeling like he had no sense of control over his life, was due to him living in denial about his sexuality. The series initally had the audience, and his female colleagues at the job convinced that his fiancée was the one who forced him into that role. When it was the other way around.

Once, she realized that George was opening himself up, in ways that he never did with her, especially when she met Eric, she started to see things differently. Then she saw them alone with one another. The sad part was that she would have wanted to start over again with him, but out of real love for her, George left. He couldn't stay with her, while still having feelings for Eric.

Now, the reveal about Eric was interesting. He was the one to reject George way back when, due to his parents situation. His father leaving his Mom, due to his own romantic situation with another man. Eric and his brother tried to appease their heartbroken Mom, but Eric put his own life/heart on hold, which could have messed up his, George, and George's fiancée lives forever.

That horrible cycle could have been repeated.

I gave this series a much higher score than "The Battle Of The Writers".

Michito asking Hiroro if Lion's pride is "safe", is all that he needed to get him to decide to let him stay with them.

Those bruises.

"...but please for the love of BL South Korea stay away from this !!"

😂 😂
I keep seeing posts that include South Korea in some folks minds as another country that could tackle this source material. Folks complaining about no kisses in the Thai adaption, would lose their minds over fish/fake kisses in the KBL.
I was so worried that a white truck would appear out of nowhere to run down either Itsuki or Fuyu in that crosswalk.

Fuyu's mom took her saying that she would officially cut herself off from their family as if she physically slapped her.

So glad that Fuyu's husband and their daughter are supporting her in her pursuit of Itsuki. Her Mom basically pulled a job that her husband was interested in, ALL to make sure that they stay united publicly as a married couple with a child is a horrible situation for all three of them. They all deserve a chance for happiness.

Fuyu going to battle against Yeo Reum will be interesting to watch.
"Got you forgot the documents yesterday." Prim, the one who hasn't gotten ANY sex from Got, is going to be the one to blow up everything.

"Nothing but chaos!" I don't know how anyone has the time and energy to have a wife, an affair with his stepson, leading on his loyal secretary for years, AND have a side piece, who also currently has a boyfriend, talk about others bringing chaos into his life.

😂 😂

"Honestly, this show is a laugh—don’t take it too seriously. Just watch, chuckle, and go with it. Trust me, trying to make sense of it is a losing game."

Yup. I have stopped trying to figure out exactly what type of "business" (or how many "businesses") that Shun and his family owns, since he can spend as much time as he wants as a "writer" as another side gig, in his pursuit of Ob-Un. They've just said "less plot, more fantasy tropes". Only two more episodes to go.

This was a lovely first episode to get familiar with these characters and the world they're set in. I liked that Dol needed to know if Sun actually liked him because of him, and not just because he was his supposed "soulmate". You have to actually like the person, you are going to hopefully spend the rest of your life with, and potentially raise children into the world. Unfortunately, Dol was witness to his parents not being happy with one another, due to the roles they felt they were supposed to be in as "soulmates".

Did we ever get Sun's co-worker's name? I loved how happy he was that Sun was finally rid of his user ex.

Also, a character in a BL who has actually committed a crime is brought to the police.

Mick has come a long way from his first BL role as Lukchup in "La Cuisine".

Some budding BL screenwriter is watching this series and taking notes. We will see similar "behind the knees" sponge bath requests in upcoming BLs in 2025.

I am glad that we were shown that Wan made it clear to her Mom, when she paid homage/respect to her good for nothing Dad after his funeral, that she wouldn't allow Wi to have ANY say in her life from that point onwards. Her Mom basically believed that Wan had to make the choices in her life, (marry into a rich/wealthy family, and not become the side piece), that she never had.

That's a horrible thing for a child to realize about their parent, but Wan lived throughout the choices both of her parents made for themselves and her in her life up until that point.

As for Wan choosing to marry Ek: Yes, she was fully in the wrong for marrying him. But Ek also has to take some responsibility in his decision to marrying a woman that clearly did not share any sort of real love and affection towards him. When I have watched the very many BLs in years (and in weeks past, hat-tip to "Live In Love") past, in which a female character is so desperate to hold onto or gain the interest of the main male characters, it makes me wonder if folks see value in themselves outside of whom they may end up with in their romantic relationships. Why demean yourself in such a way?

Phleng has spent years in some sort of "punishment" for walking out of Wan's life. Wan's folks made it clear that she wasn't wanted, especially when the money they expected he to have from her parents deaths didn't come to pass. She had to get out, and let Wan have a future, in which she had no say in. When she found out that Wan had been lying to her about her actual achievements, that was heartbreaking for her. Phleng has wanted the best for Wan. So, in her mind, at that time, she wasn't the best person for Wan (and that wasn't just about her untold/unrequited romantic feelings for her).

It's going to take time for Phleng to not feel some sort of guilt regarding her pushing Wan to be with Ek, her abandonment of Wan, her sudden return into Wan's life, and now her being found out as the "other woman".

I think some folks had the expectation that with a Thai based production company, there wouldn't necessarily be…
"Many believe the reason it was banned in that country (along with its actors) not because of the lgbtq+/BL content, but rather that the novel on which the series was based did not shed a good light on the Chinese military/political establishment,"

So, if that was the case, then why would any other Asian country take the risk of being targeted by their country's government and military in trying to adapt the later chapters of the source material?
