Title Live in Love
Gina and Khing don't have any sort of realization that the majority of their friends are gay?!
I wonder if the "good wife", "loyal secretary", and "hot piece on the side" will suddenly get together to try and get rid of Gus.

Mimi is delulu. Placing the blame on Fon for Gus not telling her that he's married. Gus is willing to buy his wife's silence "forgiveness", by writing her a 5 million baht check, but he's also a cheap bastard in getting the same tacky shoes for Som-o and Mimi?!

This Club Friday series is pure messy OTT trash, that is hilarious to watch at times.
So Rada was so desperate for "revenge" against Foon, that she gaslit and framed Gap into believing that he had sex with her, and cheated on his wife, because Rada was pissed that the man she willingly married, Inn was never in love with her? Something that she knew from the very beginning, but hey, marriage is something that is instilled in the minds of millions of women all across the globe, from the time they are children to be the be all/end all for us to do in our lives.

Sigh. The next installment of this series is even more absurd.

I love that the characters in their novel, Shen An and Duan Ruxing, are being shown as absolutely clueless regarding their situations. One moment, they're in the forest looking for something, with one writer contributing to a chapter, and in the next moment, they're in some house, and almost have sex, because "the readers" have been waiting too long for it.

The whole thing about Obun and Shan ending up living and working together, while one is crushing on the other reminds me of the early stages of Nubsib moving into Gene's place in "Lovely Writer". Especially when Nubsib needed Gene to help him "practice" the upcoming kissing scene.

I liked that both Obun and Shan are shown to be equally flustered about the kiss they shared. Shun is worried that he took things to far, while Obun is worrying about if the kiss was authentic or was it just for "research".

It's funny that in these "I met him when we were kids" background stories, that one half of the pairing never remembers the other. Yet, it's a bond that has effected the other throughout their youth.

I don't know how "cute" it's supposed to be regarding Ozone (who never ever wants to complete a task that is assigned to him by his editor), and Pie (said editor, who has to work with someone, who seems to not be serious about his job), but I hope that someone finds this storyline/pairing entertaining.

"Not all the details can be replicated or shown exactly as it was in the novel."

Exactly. Do we really need to see that one of the young men is torn up about accepting his romantic interests in the other young man, due to a "traumatic experience" regarding finding out that his father also had same-sex attractions, and that's why he split from his wife?

It's just very interesting that the folks who are having "issues" with this adaption, are focused on wanting to see one of these main male lead characters in utter turmoil regarding their self acceptance of their sexuality.

"I can understand being irritated its not like the novel. But if they continue, they ruin the chances anyone will make adaptations of other Chinese BL novels they could like better, exposing they're watching illegally and just bringing more negative attention to BL."

Well, I feel like those folks that have issues with the adaption are basically nit-picking at things, which doesn't make sense. How could a 12 episode series precisely cover over 50 chapters of the novel? The producers would need to have doubled the number of episodes for that to happen, and they don’t have the budget for it

These folks come across as sour bitter apples, upset that it isn't a "true" adaption, but will continue to watch and complain every week.

I love this series. Noguchi assumed that Ayumu would just be waiting for him to "come back home", while he explored his career/himself in another country. Yes, some people do wait, but Ayumu knew that he couldn't do it for Noguchi.

Shige has had dozens of late-night talks with the heartbroken men that have nursed unrequited crushes on Mitsuya.

Don't give up Ishida!!

There IS a smidge of plot there for the actors, but there is all the "extra" stuff that isn't needed, and the actors don't deserve any sort of backlash from the audience about it.

I am just glad that in this series, TPTB have chosen to not advise Yim to speak/yell his character's lines like he did in "Middleman's Love"
On Battle of the Writers Aug 19, 2024
The script is all over the place, certain scenes and things that all the characters are written to behave/react to are somewhat juvenile, but I am enjoying that ALL of the actors have invested 100% of their talent into bringing life to these characters.

Not one of them comes across as being hesitant in showing that the screenwriters writers have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

Shan is in utter love with Ob-un. While Ob-un can't quite believe what he's feeling towards Shan with every new interaction between them.

A cute way to spend up to 50 minutes watching cute characters flirting with one another.

"At times, Blossom can be a hoot because of its narrative shortcomings. It is ridiculous, but—wink wink—it knows it is ridiculous."

100% agreed. Blossom IS ridiculous, because it had to be. I too have images of "Word Of Honor", "The Untamed", and an even earlier Chinese BL/Bromance called "Love Is More Than A Word", in the back of my mind as I watched this uncensored tale of love between 2 male couples/pairings. It was refreshing to see Xiaobao fully embracing the fact that he fell head over heels in love with Huaien, even though he initially thought that he was a she. I even loved how Huaien initially resisted letting himself accept Xiaobao's feelings/attraction towards him, because of how he was raised, by the man who resented his very existence, due to his birth causing the banishment/death of the woman he was obsessed with aka "in love", his mother.

I think the writers went with the non-con regarding Huaien, because they couldn't have him instantly accepting his own feelings and desire towards Xiaobao too quickly. They only had a budget for 12 episodes.

Hopefully with the success of this Chinese period piece BL series, we will get longer/better written period piece BLs, that are written by folks familiar with these stories/themes, but actually funded by other countries that aren't beholden to following the Chinese government.

"The other thing that is annoying. I don’t know if you watched Stay with Me, but they could have done that with it. All implied. It was beautifully done. it’s very irritating."

But, from the moment when the news came out that Thailand was doing an adaption of the Chinese BL series, folks were so excited, because hopefully, they would "finally" see a fully produced version of the story. All the toxic, sexual aspects that they've been imagining in their minds as they've read the actual source material. There would be no "ban", no "bromance", no "tameness", and no hesitation to go there with the material, because that's what's expected with BLs from Thailand.

Then this production company chose to cast two male actors with an almost 10 year age gap.

Now, folks have been upset/arguing for months about that casting, while also scrambling to get access to watch the episodes.

This is the playbook for Jinloe. They did the same thing with "Hit Bit Love".

Not a bitch, because something good for Bible had to come through for him after the complete mess that resulted from his former co-worker's behavior.

Like Bible was supposed to anchor himself to having his career over, before it even started out of "solidarity"?!

Anyway, let's continue to focus on the present and the next episode of this series airing in the next 8 hours.

"Sometimes I wonder if audiences would like characters who are borderline stalkers like Shan, if the actor playing him looked like an average guy or an ugly guy, instead of a model."

😃 😀 😄

Anytime my sister watches some of these series with me, (even some of the GLs) she makes comments in a similar tone. She wonders why these leads cannot find a way to connect with each other, without one of the characters coming across as being "creepy".

Shun could literally just tell his "Little Prince" that he actually admires/likes him, and that he wants to spend more time together with him, but that would defeat the whole premise of their plot to get together throughout the rest of the series.

Ishida is down bad for Miysuya, and it's just not based on how well he cooks for him. There's a connection being established. A sense of comfortability that he AND Miysuya are sharing. The knowing look Shige had while watching them react.
On Takara's Treasure Aug 5, 2024
Takara is so afraid that due to Taishin naivete, and cluelessness that he would be "taking advantage" of him. He keeps seeing himself as his Mom, when he's nothing at all like her. If he was like her, he wouldn't be so worried about doing anything "bad" in showing and expressing his feelings for Taishin.

I am looking forward towards "Kidnap". Wishing nothing but the best for Ohm, Leng, and all of their co-stars.

I am truly saddened that the more delulu fans from "Bad Buddy The Series" couldn't allow themselves to maintain some composure, grace, and sanity regarding their hurt over their delulu bubbles being burst by both Ohm and Nanon choosing to not continue their professional CP together.

I truly hope that this delulu madness is over, and that these folks will move on. Ohm, Nanon, and Leng did not deserve this sort of reaction, and behavior for such a long period of time.
