I think some folks had the expectation that with a Thai based production company, there wouldn't necessarily be this need to hold back on the true essence of the source material. Yet, with this production company, and with this particular director, I think they wanted to challenge themselves, and not necessarily the audience. They tried to recreate an Thai version of "Elite" with "Hit Bite Love" and that wasn't a success at all. So, TPTB somehow bought into the director's vision in thinking that they could make this adaption with all the Thai tropes and stereotypes, but also making it sexually tame as possible.

If any other country makes an attempt to do their own spin on this saga, I would think that Japan may do it. They are releasing their own version of Mame's "Love In The Air", so let's see what happens.

Fuyu has to try and find a way to cut her Mother out of her life for good. Her Mother has done way too much damaging mental and emotional abuse to Fuyu that she bends to her will all the time. The taps of her ring sets off this reset button in Fuyu.

Itsuki is trying to be supportive of Fuyu, but she also has to protect herself. That women is determined to destroy anyone, including Fuyu, in order to keep her offspring on the straight and narrow path.

I hope that by the conclusion of the series, the Mom isn't given this "Oh, I have learned the error of my ways!" and is given another chance by Fuyu.

The character of Ozone is there for the comic aspects of the series. The absurdness that these fans are that focused on these BL novelists personal lives, that they are tracking their online interactions, to come up with a messy triangle theory between these three authors.

Along with the possibility that IF their upcoming performance/songs at the music festival aren't well received, Neil's remaining fanbase would definitely go after and place the blame on Sea.

I cannot believe it took me this long to finally realize why "Orca" seemed so familiar to me. It's Jame from "Gen Y", "Gen Y2", and "My Mate Match" from StarHunter. Jame had a CP with Jet, who left StarHunter for Be On Cloud.

Khing, and her hence people, Gina and AF basically stalked Cake, and Kla. Yet, in the end, Cake shows Gina how to bake, so that she could end up financially healthy/wealthy on her own. Khing, who's family is rich, moves her out of Thailand, so that she can "heal". While AF is set up to end up romantically with Cake's younger brother?!

From the very first minutes of the first episode, I started smiling. This live adaption of the manga is really wonderful. They cast the four Yuzuki brothers brilliantly.

I wonder if TPTB are giving these casting directors notes that they are actively looking for 25 to 30 something actors to audition for these roles? It shouldn't be too difficult to find older actors (who also happen to be visually pleasing to potential viewers) to try for these roles right?

Those novels were called "bodice rippers" during the 80s. This is definitely a "cuppiece ripper". Everytime Patt's imagination goes into hyper sexual overload, he's allowing Mr. Elis to do all the naughty things that his secretary wants him to do to him.

Now, I bet in Elis' mind, he's allowed to make sweet, and gentle love to his beloved Patt in his fantasies.

Kla definitely knows that both Gina and Khing don't like the fact that he's dating Cake, but again I still wonder why he hasn't said anything to them about their behavior. Especially them just showing up out of the blue to interrupt their getaway at his family's resort. Kla didn't even extend the invite to those two. Along with how rude Gina was towards Kla's siblings. She didn't even apologize.

As for the party invitation, again I understand that it's very important that you're polite to your elders, seniors, and members of your society, yet Cake didn't feel comfortable in attending, but he couldn't be able to be seen as "rude" in declining the invitation. Maybe because I am definitely passed the age of drinking alcohol until you pass out, but I guess this was needed to lead up to the scene of AF giving Cake way too much alcohol.
