No u didn't missed anything. Idk if they yave changed it in the serie or the novel is same mess as this. The relationship…
"The relationship is a mess. Yotha is a toxic, selfish and an asshole guy who only knows how to self pity himself. Such an awful character.
And Gun has no self respect!! Like wtf is wrong with u? U forgave him only because he forcefully kissed u? R u nuts?? That's why Yotha is repeating his shit again because he knows Gun will wait for him no matter how bad he treats him."

No defending of the behaviors of either characters of Yotha nor Gun. I just think that this is exactly how some individuals behave in relationships with one another. There's just no twinkling bakground music to minimize the sting of those behaviors. Both Yotha and Gun are terrified of truly being honest with one another about their feelings towards one another. Gun thinks that if he makes it known that he feels slighted, hurt, and taken advantage of (because Yotha IS toying with his feelings), that Yotha will somehow not choose him in the end. While Yotha, who is trying to protect his heart, feelings, and pride IS messing with the emotions of someone that DOES know exactly how they feel about him. He just doesn't have enough trust in Gun's feelings. So at this point, neither he nor Gun are ready to be together. They are both hurting one another. That's how I see what's going on in their storyline.

Another Star Hunter bomb. This first episode was totally boring. Too many characters in the first episode, with…
You don't really need to get to know them, when the opening credits basically describe those characters as "The Villain", "The Sassy Best Friend", "The Third Wheel", etc.

Review Fourever You
I loved these points you brought up about Part One of this series:

"I had to double check the title because I thought I'd accidentally clicked on 2 Moons, or Love By Chance, or something. This feels like walking into a time machine that takes you straight (or well, gay) back to the old-school BL era. Not in a good way. In an 'I've seen this exact BL 37 times before' and 'Here we go again with romanticising toxic behavior' kind of way.

Either that, or Johan is a passionate BL watcher who has taken lessons from all the wrong characters. Well, at least Easter ships it because apparently your best friend getting harassed is cute and not at all scary, at least when the guy harassing him is handsome.
Was this review helpful to you?"

I also don't long for the early years of Thai BL when thinking that possessiveness, controlling behavior is viewed as a "good thing", because it shows just how much the Seme is in love with his Uke. Along with the belief that as long as the Seme is hot AND rich, his actions are okay towards the Uke.

Sorry but sei knew Fujis terms and if he no longer wants to accept them he can talk to him the same as Hagi with…
Agreed.

Neither Fuji or Kaori would ever agree for their current relationships with Sei and Kazuaki to be open.

Kaori doesn't even think anything is wrong with her and Kazuaki not being more sexually active, while Fuji is worried that Sei might be tempted if he even interacts with anyone outside of his professional life.

I think that Fuji is aware that Sei wasn't going to be able to stay within the perimeters that Fuji set for their relationship and he also doesn't want to acknowledge that they both made a mistake.

Sometimes needs can change.

Yes, it would be more "easier" if both of these couples spoke up about their true feelings, but none of them want to be viewed as the "bad one" within their relationship.

If you're squeamish about cheating, this might not be the series for you. That aside, I love the back and forth…
"If you're squeamish about cheating, this might not be the series for you."

Yet, they will still watch AND complain after each episode.

I am throughly enjoying the growing, yet unknown bond that is being shown between Sei and his colleague Kazauki.

They are both involved in loving relationships with people that do not share physical/sexual desire for them. I believe that Sei's boyfriend is asexual, but they both agreed to stay together. He doesn't like it when Sei talks about sex or intimacy, but he especially gets his back up whenever Sei mentions having any interactions with anyone else. They are not compatible, and it's not fair for either one to stay in something that doesn't fulfill their needs.

As for Kazauki and Kaori, he doesn't want to admit it, but he wants to break up with her, but he doesn't want to deal with the messiness of it. All their friends are in relationships and taking things forward like discussing marriage/families, yet they are in this holding position of just tolerating one another.

Sei and Kazauki get more thrills in their online flirtation, while they are noticing interesting things about each other at the office.

Title Rainbow Boys Spoiler
Now finished. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to see it. Sharing privately for now.Edit: Now released publicly,…
Thanks again for working on getting these older series available. I really enjoyed this one. Even though none of the boys got their HEA with Makoto, I feel that the important point of the series was that Yutaro, Akira, and Ryuji gained a friendship and bond as three young gay high schoolers attempting to pursue their romantic lives, without having to hide it from each other. I especially loved Mama Kazou. That had to be so refreshing to see back in 2008.

"My only question is how this production team managed to secure multiple sponsors for this mess?!?!?!?"

It probably doesn't cost the advertisers/companies too much money to fund/sponsor a mini-series compared to a 8 to 16 episode production.

Title Our Youth Spoiler
Minase is in tears because there's nothing that he can do to try and get Hirukawa from his horrible situation. He has no idea what to do, but tries to be someone that Hirukawa can lean on.

How Hirukawa truly thinks of himself as "bad" due to none of the adults in his life taking the responsibility of caring for him.

His mom has restarted her life with an entirely new family, that Hirukawa knows he's not apart of.

His abusive dad literally drunk himself to death, while also telling his abused kid that he has nowhere else to go and that nobody wants him.

His teacher has totally written him off as not worthy of anyone's care, interest, and advises Minase to not do anything OR he will be punished.

JBL for 2024 has come for our throats this year, in the best possible way.

It's very evident, at least in my opinion that Chao Planoy is the Thai GL equivalent to Mame.

Jbl is never like this,so blame the bad plot of Thai! I even stop watching this after ep 1 coz i don’t feel…
The author of the source material, and the producer of the Thai BL this JBL adaption is based on, green-lit what was produced. So I literally don't get why certain folks are so bent out of shape with these episodes?

If this adaption had attempted to make any real changes to the plot, viewers would have been upset. So, this version is just a stripped down, edited to under 30 minutes/10 episode homage to the Thai version. This was a way for both production companies to see if they could make another profit from the source material. Which they will make a profit, and all four of these main lead actors will probably be cast in better written JBLs and Jdramas in their futures.

"At first glance I was happy that Porsche brought Jodd and Jeng back from the woods. 😱 I had to back track because I was shocked after hearing him saying the names Sont and Korn to Arm."

Ton and Nat are just too nice and kind. They saw two more folks lost in those woods and have brought unknown chaos into their house.

When the news about this series was released, I was skeptical, but open to it. I am just glad that I didn't allow my preconceived judgement keep me from watching. Everyone, and I mean everyone so far has me invested in the story of Junior and Sun.

Jay and Ben are wonderful together as Junior and Sun.

True, close friends can hug, kiss, stay over and say I love you. This is totally fine. However, the thing with…
"This is all fine and they really don't need to change anything between them as long as they like HOWEVER can any of you really see them dating/ marrying other people? They won't be able to treat them right unless their partners are satisfied with being the 2nd priority and knowing there's a best friend who'll matter quite a bit more."

Agreed.

Shin would probably try to date, but would drop everything to go to Saint's side, and then wonder why all his attempts in dating end up with the ladies looking at him in disbelief that he doesn't realize that he's never been that interested in them as a future possible spouse. He already has life partner in Saint.

Saint won't date anyone at all. He will be there waiting for Shin.

"cheating in the last episode and they still end up together is crazy."

It's not that crazy. Pat the ever faithful doormat was always going to chose Elyes. Elyes basically could have told Pat one night, that he would need to use Pat's bedroom to have a sex with Khim, or any of his other FWB options, and he would have smiled right into his face, and let him do it.

"I'm just very confused about people saying this version is different from the Thai one. Of course, it's shorter so not everything is here but from what I recall, it's the exact same plot for the first couple. I could even say they didn't even change their line and sub plot."

Exactly. Nothing has really been changed, except for the level of spicy heat factor between these 2 pairings. It's the same shallow story.
