Wow...just wow. Everyone, and I mean everyone brought their "A Game" in this episode. From Billy, and Seng portraying, and expressing the varying emotions of Nuea, and Toh. Their fears, hopes, love, and dreams of their future together as a couple. In this episode, we got to see a completely vulnerable side of Nuea that we never got to see before. He was always the one, that seemed to be in control of the relationship. When, Nuea has had his own fears about how much Toh cared for him. Showing that someone as popular, charming, rich, and appealing to others, can have fears about their role in their loved ones life.
Toh....him constantly waiting for the "other shoe to drop", regarding Nuea's feelings about him. His lack of faith in himself, is one of the major contributors to his need to collect, and hoard items that are connected to his feelings for Nuea. Hopefully, with him growing more secure with himself, his love for Nuea, and certainly Nuea's love for him, his collecting/hoarding will diminish with time.
Heng, and Surprise were wonderful (as always) in the further development of the relationship between Sky, and Jao. The confidence that Jao has now, due to him continuing to see just how much Sky really loves him. Their multiple sensual scenes were amazing, because we got to see them both, expressing their desire, and need for one another.
I am not familiar with the guest actor named First, who portrayed Kong, but he was a great "villain", that was able to help strengthen the relationship between Toh, and Nuea.
I didn't know that 13 weeks ago, I would be praising this series in such a way.
Saint definitely has a future as an Executive Producer, along with his role as an performer. He, and everyone associated with SCOY have done an amazing job in the creation and production of this series.
I love this series. OMG! Kota isn't going to realize that he's slowly falling for Naoya, not because of his "good luck", but due to his sweet nature, his growing attraction towards him, and how Naoya makes him feel.
I just adore Naoya!!
Everytime, that he feels down about something, and Kota gives him inadvertent words of encouragement, it makes Naoya want to give him everything possible, just so that he can see him smile!!
Well, Khluen finally made it clear to Nuea about his long simmering feelings for him. Next week's episode will hopefully be another step in the right direction for them. Joong and Dunk are really wonderful together.
Thanks for this. it's really easy to google and figure out what stalking entails ..."Stalking is behavior wherein…
I think that Nuea will be upset, because of how Toh react. It's basically Toh still thinking, and believing that he's isn't worthy of Nuea's love, affection, and support. Something, that Nuea has spent 10 episodes trying to get Toh to believe in the opposite: that he IS a worthy recipient of Nuea's feelings, because of exactly who he is as a person. Someone kind, someone caring, someone loveable.
Oh, we go through this every week. Every week a new episode comes down and we all post varied remarks about it.…
Wow. That's quite the mental hoops exercise, for a series that has been referred to as "not too deep", "not something that is serious", and a "light and fluffy show", by folks who do find some entertainment in the series!
Oh, we go through this every week. Every week a new episode comes down and we all post varied remarks about it.…
Why was KinnPorsche brought up, regarding a discussion on "why certain viewers have issues" with Cutie Pie? These are two entirely different series, that don't focus on similar topics, in their respective shows. Was Lian supposed to be the heir of a mafia family? I know that Kirin used to play the drums, but him sharing a love of music that Porchay and Wik have is purely coincidental.
This isn't a fan page. This shouldn't be an haters club either. MDL is usually a quite good place to discuss bout…
"If majority of the comments here are criticism it doesn’t make it a haters club but maybe the show is really just bad (?). Just because you don’t see it that way doesn’t make others’ comment wrong/hate/toxic."
I still say, that the negative, and critical reactions were something that the viewers, who do like the series, weren't expecting to come across. We all know that this is the "comments" section, but I guess it's hard to see postings, in which folks aren't all enraptured with each and every scene. Or certain scenes. Or just being wowed by the onscreen presence of the actors.
at this point I'm only watching this for Syn and Nuea and lets be honest, there's not much of them to begin with.…
"Lian is the embodiment of a toxic masculine male lead who solves his problems through force and Kuea is literally the stereotype for the "innocent but not like other girls cause she rides a bike" female lead so i probably shouldn't have gotten my hopes up that high urgh."
Wait, so Lian's resolve to start a relationship with Kuea once he came clean about Kirin only lasted 14 days?…
The novel argument is weird, because most TV/Movie adaptions are supposed to stand on their own, from the novel. The hopeful success of the adaption, should want to make the viewer, seek out the novel. Not because they couldn't figure out what the hell was going on with the characters in the series, but because they want to know more about them.
As for the light and fluffy comments, I wasn't expecting this series to be that type of show, to be perfectly honest with you. What I thought we were going to see, was a plot centered on two male characters, who were promised to one another, in their childhoods, to have an arranged marriage as adults, and how they cope with it.
How that was going to happen was the mystery.
Then the pilot teaser was released, and we had clips/images of this "doll-like" Kuea, having to go through the motions of participating in dinner, with his fiance Lian. Kuea, who's resentful that he has to "put on this facade" of being the "perfect fiance" to his fiance, has this "other life", in which he's an up and coming musician, who also likes fast cars. We got more insight about Kuea/Kirin in that teaser, than what was shown about Lian.
The first two episodes air, and we get Lian telling a heartbroken, and confused Kuea, that he doesn't love him. Kuea isn't given ANY time to actually recover from hearing that said to him, by his potential spouse, because he's then forced to move into his fiance's house, the man that just told him that he doesn't love him.
That Kuea actually does it, is what made me go, "what in the hell?!" The fire, fight, and drive went out of Kuea, to the point, that in the last episode we watched, he talked about ALL of his interests, the things that made him happy, made him who he is (or was) as totally frivolous things. Diao, and not his potential spouse (who knows ALL of this about him) had to be the one, to remind him, that those things aren't bad things about him.
Yet, I'm supposed to want Lian and Kuea to end up together, within the next two episodes?!
Mandee would probably do it, if it could contribute to more viewers watching on YT!!

Only two more episodes to go.

Hilarious 😂 😃
