I don't get the blind hatred for Kuea. Sure, he's annoying and childish, but he was also groomed his entire life…
"He was always asked to be a pretty doll and just follow orders."
A perfect comment regarding Kuea's role in the lives of his parents, his former fiancé, and his own life.
He called his Mother, to try and find out the truth, and she straight up lied to him. He then went to his fiancé, and asked him about the situation, and Lian yet again lied to him. The only reason why his Mom told him the truth, was because she overheard their conversation, because Lian hadn't had time to end his call with her.
I get that Kuea is childish, and he knows it, but he was literally raised, with the mindset of someone was going to take care of every important thing in life that matters for him. As long as he "behaved"!
as much as this show feels like a dumsperfire,, i dont see people talking about one of the main problems i have…
Many viewers have brought up the grooming situation in this series. I just don't think the EPs, the director, nor the screenwriters actually thought about how to actually adapt this novel, that would make sense to viewers in 2022. If this was 2013 to 2019, I don't think that viewers would have had that thought, when watching these episodes.
This series is poorly written. All of the couples storyline are poorly written. The side characters are poorly…
Look, if they can't even creatively adapt source material from a novel, how in the hell can they come up with something utterly original on their own?!
It seems to me people talking trash about Toh weirdness and saying the show is glorifying problematic behaviour…
There is a ton of communication between all these characters, and I love that communication is actually shown with all of the pairings. None of this "it shows that communication is vital to the growth of the relationship", but no actual scenes of these couples talking to each other.
Wow...just wow. Everyone, and I mean everyone brought their "A Game" in this episode. From Billy, and Seng portraying, and expressing the varying emotions of Nuea, and Toh. Their fears, hopes, love, and dreams of their future together as a couple. In this episode, we got to see a completely vulnerable side of Nuea that we never got to see before. He was always the one, that seemed to be in control of the relationship. When, Nuea has had his own fears about how much Toh cared for him. Showing that someone as popular, charming, rich, and appealing to others, can have fears about their role in their loved ones life.
Toh....him constantly waiting for the "other shoe to drop", regarding Nuea's feelings about him. His lack of faith in himself, is one of the major contributors to his need to collect, and hoard items that are connected to his feelings for Nuea. Hopefully, with him growing more secure with himself, his love for Nuea, and certainly Nuea's love for him, his collecting/hoarding will diminish with time.
Heng, and Surprise were wonderful (as always) in the further development of the relationship between Sky, and Jao. The confidence that Jao has now, due to him continuing to see just how much Sky really loves him. Their multiple sensual scenes were amazing, because we got to see them both, expressing their desire, and need for one another.
I am not familiar with the guest actor named First, who portrayed Kong, but he was a great "villain", that was able to help strengthen the relationship between Toh, and Nuea.
I didn't know that 13 weeks ago, I would be praising this series in such a way.
Saint definitely has a future as an Executive Producer, along with his role as an performer. He, and everyone associated with SCOY have done an amazing job in the creation and production of this series.
I love this series. OMG! Kota isn't going to realize that he's slowly falling for Naoya, not because of his "good luck", but due to his sweet nature, his growing attraction towards him, and how Naoya makes him feel.
I just adore Naoya!!
Everytime, that he feels down about something, and Kota gives him inadvertent words of encouragement, it makes Naoya want to give him everything possible, just so that he can see him smile!!
Well, Khluen finally made it clear to Nuea about his long simmering feelings for him. Next week's episode will hopefully be another step in the right direction for them. Joong and Dunk are really wonderful together.
Thanks for this. it's really easy to google and figure out what stalking entails ..."Stalking is behavior wherein…
I think that Nuea will be upset, because of how Toh react. It's basically Toh still thinking, and believing that he's isn't worthy of Nuea's love, affection, and support. Something, that Nuea has spent 10 episodes trying to get Toh to believe in the opposite: that he IS a worthy recipient of Nuea's feelings, because of exactly who he is as a person. Someone kind, someone caring, someone loveable.
Oh, we go through this every week. Every week a new episode comes down and we all post varied remarks about it.…
Wow. That's quite the mental hoops exercise, for a series that has been referred to as "not too deep", "not something that is serious", and a "light and fluffy show", by folks who do find some entertainment in the series!

I was dumbfounded by Diao saying that out loud to Kuea's friends, and him being outright proud of telling folks that he, a 20 year old, had a curfew.
"Did you get your nut last night? I finally got mine!"
Mandee would probably do it, if it could contribute to more viewers watching on YT!!

Only two more episodes to go.
