catch me in this fantasy world to find my own warrior
Where do I even start….EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! The casting was amazing and I loved how they portrayed their characters. The side charcters were well developed too cause I was literally giggling over every interaction the princess had with her man. The plot was so engaging and hooked me in immediately too. AND THE SLOW BURN ENEMIES TO LOVERS OMGGGG!!! I would literally do anything for the female lead because I loved how complex she was. Same for the male lead because both were flawed in their own way, but were still made for each other. I’m dipping my toes into this genre still, but I have never enjoyed any show like this one. I will def rewatch some time in the future. <3Was this review helpful to you?
big back city population: me
I am just here for the food bro because DAMN why can't I eat through the screen??? I liked the ending, but there were plot holes that I wish they answered. I do have some theories, but I pulled them out of my butt crack. Anyways, I love the found-family aspect between the chefs so much and I love my girl Yoon-ah. The male actor did fantastic in his role, but I wish we got to see the main couples dynamic more. <3Was this review helpful to you?
in every lifetime, I will find you & recognize you
The chemistry between the actors was off the charts. This had so much spicy scenes to feed me for days. Their bond and love for each other was so touching to me. The plot was a bit slow at first, then started to pick up fast. I wish we got more of the side couple and more scenes of them at the end. I need to find a man/woman devoted to me like they have. PLS PLS PLS PLS <3Was this review helpful to you?
love that truly is hidden until revealed
The only thing that bothered me was the age gap, but I am glad he never had romantic feelings for her until she was older. I was giggling and blushing over how adorable their dynamic is. The casting was also good and they played their roles well. I love how the female lead was always there for the male lead unconditionally. Her love for the male lead was so sweet and pure. I love how the male lead showed his love for her too. Gonna rewatch when I feel lonely ( like I always do). <3Was this review helpful to you?
cozy love designed by women who care & understand one another
The plot was solid and had me interested, even though it reminded me of the common trope where another company steals ideas. The side characters were also lovable and I loved the snippets where we got to see the side characters be happy. I would have never forgave Mind for what she did, but I would be proud of her improvement and taking action on becoming a better person. I liked how it touched on themes about corruption in corporations because it is currently happening. The chemistry was chefs kiss and had me giggling so badly to the point where I wanted to be in my own relationship with another girl. I want to be able to design my own love story with another person someday like they did. <3Was this review helpful to you?
women's rights & women's wrongs
I love love love Mo Eun's character and I do like how she is still evil, but can have some good to her. The MC was a bit bland to me, but I did understand her frustrations, recklessness, and desperations. I can see why many people wanted to take advantage of her because she was an easy target for them. I liked how it showed the sides of murder motives and how people can be insane. The law system can be filled with corrupt people blinded by their own need for justice, but there are people who do seek justice without any prejudice, which is deeply needed in this world. I also adored the ending and how it tied to the opening scenes because I will always eat that up. <3Was this review helpful to you?
I need a powerful person to be obsessed w/ me
TENSION OMG THE TENSION, I loved. The plot was nice, but I wished we got to see the female lead fail in at least one of her plans because it worked out way too perfectly. This show had one of the best female villains I have seen too because she was just plain horrid and evil. THE MALE LEAD OMG, this is my first drama with him and I will def be watching more. Their dynamic was soooo good that I wish they had a more fiery romance because why aren't y'all eating each others faces passionately?? The female lead is so headstrong and cunning that I love her too. <3Was this review helpful to you?
do I need to be 6 feet under to find myself a devil?
I love how love can make anyone soften up. I love these actors and their dynamics with each other. I adore their happy ending. I think the side characters are alright because I did not really care for them as much as the main couple. The music is very peak and I enjoyed it. I also love the male lead's backstory because I started crying when he was talking about his father. I also love the female lead's backstory. AUGH they are just so cute together. <3Was this review helpful to you?
heart full, head empty
This is just a silly romcom that I turn my brain off for. Their dynamic is so goofy and unserious. I also loved the staff dynamic with the female lead. Male lead was such a simp and I was here for it. The actors are also my cup of tea because I liked their interactions. Yoon-ah, my queen and my goat, I love how she acts. If I want to be brain numb and dead, this is perf to watch because it is just a silly, fun time. My main gripe was the horrid South Asian representation that was not done well and played into negative stereotypes. <3Was this review helpful to you?
nerdy dude with glasses will be meters away from me
Guess you can tell I love the second couple more than the first hehehehe. This is my first k-drama and I found it cute and fun, but nothing outstanding. It was filled with cliches that usually made me cringe, but I am the cringe. I still liked the main couple though. But the music is so peak, ALL THE SONGS ARE SO GOOD!!! I also just love Kim Sejeong and love some of her songs. I also think the casting is amazing too because Ahn Hyo-Seop with his hair down is chef's kiss. <3Was this review helpful to you?
the flower in my heart bloomed no matter how hard people tried to stop it
Guess who was shocked at the plot twists...MEE!!! The plot is so peak and well thought out. I loved how we got more information at the beginning of each ep about their pasts. I can already imagine the characters after the ending living their best life. Justice was served well in this drama and left me feeling satisfied. I do admit I was very scared and had to play piano music of Laufey songs to help lighten the dark mood. I did cackle a little bit when I heard Drunk by Keshi playing in the background of one scene because I did not expect that to be there. <3Was this review helpful to you?
love blossoming in unexpected situations
The strongest part of this drama is the couple because I ate up every scene where they interacted. Their love and bond is adorable and everlasting. There could have been more romance scenes but I still loved it nonetheless. I literally need to find a man like Song Mo or a woman like Dou Zhao because they were such amazing characters. The plot follows a basic premise, but it wrapped up satisfyingly. The side characters were not bad and I enjoyed their paths. Overall, this drama made me laugh and blush, and made me happy with the ending and justice served. <3Was this review helpful to you?
I still feel your presence
What I enjoyed the most about this show is the themes of feminism the side characters had to go through. I absolutely loved the side ship and wanted more of them. The chemistry between the couple was super adorable though. I do think the pacing could have been better for the start of their relationship. I did enjoy the supernatural part of this show, but I wish it was more of a main focus. I did cry a lot nearing the end though because I started to be invested in their relationship. <3Was this review helpful to you?
when friends become your home
The amount of times I cried is surprising because I expected this to be a very lighthearted drama. It still was, but the issues the characters faced were realistic and believable. I love the main couple so much and they deserve each other. I do wish we got more of the unexpected side couple. I adored their character developments going into adulthood too and it was perfectly shown at the ending scenes with their younger selfs. I had an issue with QiQi due to her being shallow and not a great friend, but I am glad she is going toward the path she wants for herself. It gave me such a nostalgia vibe and makes me scared of adulthood. I know the problems the characters faced could become mine too, but I should embrace the present no matter what becomes of my future. I want to find my own home like they did. <3Was this review helpful to you?
the best thing I did is watch this show single *sobs*
I will stand by Xifan no matter how many haters she has. I connected to her feelings throughout the show and sobbed when she did. I love Suye and do appreciate how he grew from his flaws. The "secondary" couple was very underbaked, but I know the show is way more focused on the main couple instead. I adored all the cute moments and loved the cozy atmosphere. That wedding was also one of the prettiest ones I have seen so far (might take inspiration for my own hehe). <3Was this review helpful to you?
