Like you, I am enjoying both her performance here and in "One and Only". I particularly like the voice actress for her role as Lin Shao Chun. It is somewhat low in pitch and it is very calming and fits her character really well, as Shao Chun is always very cool and composed and does not panic, no matter what is the problem.

And I really like that Shao Chun has the trust of her husband and both her mother and father-in-law. They would team up to get rid of undesireable character(s).

That lady was always a 'pawn' held hostage by either the Khan or Katun (I cannot recall, as I watched this months ago). They would always use her to control the ML. After E25, you will quickly see that without her, the ML will leave the grasslands and look for the FL. He would forgive her and their relationship will soon start.

I think you might have missed some of the dialogue. The lady who died, that was her adoptive mother. His real birth parents died long ago, so he was already an orphan for a long time

I think you need to keep watching. Because at E25, she was at the grassland. At this point in time, she was only about 14 plus years old. (She was 14 in E1). She is totally new to the grasslands, not sure how the way they operate and she got trapped by some of the schemers. But, she will learn fast. You just keep watching and see her change, and over turn the table later on.

Thanks for this. Gu Wei is a doctor, one would expect him to have higher than average IQ. It is nice to know that they both have strong and unshakeable character. It means they will not be overwhelmed by the challenges they face in life.

I do not mind misunderstanding at all. It is very natural. It happens to many of us, in real life. But, I do hope that those understanding do not last too long. Because, if it does, it shows that they do not communicate much or bear grudges too easily.

But a few months is ok. Some misunderstanding in real life can last for years. And, in the drama, they can make few months past very quickly.
