I have lost count of the number of times I cried.

Same here. This drama is so so good, I think lots of us will be doing multiple re-watch, once the subs are out. Hoping the whole gang from TLB will be here, plus others, who will join us in re-discussing this simply wonderful drama.

Oh, by the way, this Youku Heat index only started in 2018. So, you could say since they started using this index to track a drama's popularity on Youku's platform, no drama has managed to hit 10,000, until TBW. And so far, TBW has done it an amazing 4 times.

Honestly, this record will be very difficult for another drama to beat.

I also like it when Ji Yunhe ran past the fox princess to join Changyi. She finally realised why she was no match for Ji Yunhe. No one loves Changyi the way Ji Yunhe does.

I was expecting that sooner or later. And they killed him off rather dramatically too!

He has lots of pearls. Especially the one that resulted from the cutting off of his tail. I will not surprised that once he get back that particular pearl, he will be able to get back his tail.

None! Not a single one since 2018 managed to hit 10,000. The highest was Love and Redemption. That drama hit the highest of 9993.

That is great! I know that at one point in time, lots of novel readers were wondering, so few episodes left and so many stories in the novel left to tell, the ending will be a mad rush.

Now, with just 4 episode, seeing that they have taken care of business, with closures for quite a few characters, we are merely waiting for the finale. They are peaking this drama excellently.

I just want to add, his character was very well written, and very well acted out. So, I am not surprised you feel the way you do.

Is this according to the novel, that he will not get it back? But this is an adaptation. So who knows what the director would do.

Just sharing my view, as a non-novel reader.

So far, I feel that the pacing of this drama is excellent. There are only 4 episodes left, but I do not feel rushed at all. Everything seems to progress just as the director wanted it. This is no bad editing. Things are flowing very smoothly.

Practically all the voices were dubbed. Allen's voice is dubbed by the same voice actor who dubbed him in under the power. Dilraba's voice is dubbed by the same voice actress who dubbed her since TMOPB.

All of the factors mentioned by cindesaurus are correct.

Also, I watched a BTS of Dilraba. Her original voice is good, but she tends to be really emotional (in the right way) and her voice can crack when she raised the volume of her voice. And if she has to do many scenes like that, it is not sustainable. If we want her to dub her own voice after filming, it will take time and it will delay the whole production process.

It is much cheaper to hire a voice actress to dub her, and this voice actress is really good. She is able to synchronise her voice exactly with the mouth movements of Dilraba, able to control all the emotional outbursts without cracking her voice. Also able to modulate her voice, for example, in this drama, she is able to put forth a more childlike sound, as well as a mature sound. She is able to do this, because she has done voice dubbing for hundreds of dramas.
