No one is asking you to come to terms with Khatun. You don't have to. She belongs to the other end of the spectrum…
ASun and Changge did have many intimate scenes together, though. It depends on how we define intimate. If it is of a sexual nature, no. But for physical intimacy, there were quite a few hugging scenes. And the two forehead kisses. If we are referring to time they were alone together, sharing very private conversation, lots of those as well.
I suspect they cannot show far too many romantic type scenes, because that will distract from the main theme of the drama, which is to show the character growth of Changge and many of the other characters.
1. Two years' time, just go to wherever you have saved your entry, and check if the scene that you have chosed is the one you saved today. This is a very simple test. For instance, the scene we have chosen could be the snow walk scene, the shooting arrow scene, falling off the bridge scene, or whatever. Choose a label, so that in two years, you can verify if you have indeed picked the correct scene that you state today. If you cannot remember what you have chosen, you have failed the first level.
2. Next level. Today, we can type 10 things we remember most about that scene. E.g., the OST used, who does what, what colour clothes were worn. Anything. Just 10 that are veriable. And 2 years' time, before we read our answer, just write down 10 things we can recall about the scene. And then just check and compare. For instance, if we said Changge was wearing white coloured costume, we can check our entry to see if this is correct. In two years, we can go to our own entry and verify, of those 10, how many we remembered correctly.
This should not be too difficult, as our answers are still here. Just a page down maybe. We can edit our answers to include a title for the scene. And then type in those 10 things. And then save our answers somewhere. Could even be in a MS Word file somewhere. Don't cheat. Leave it alone for 2 years
In two years, I will send a reminder via a new post, so if you did play this game, you can then go to your Word file, and see if the scene you thought you chose is the one you have indeed chosen today. And then, play the 2nd level, whether you remember those 10 things about the scene correctly.
No prize will be given. It is just a game. My guess is this. If that scene is really iconic to us, we should be able to remember close to 10 things about that scene. Maybe even more. And to the extent that lots of us can remember correctly, even after 2 years, it will show just how much TLB has meant to us. I can tabulate the average across all individuals who played this game. For instance, if out of 10, you remember 8 correctly, that would be 80%. I will do a simple average across all individuals. The higher the %, the greater impact those scenes have made in our memory, which would be a nice proxy for the impact TLB has made in our collective memory.
My inspiration for this game comes totally from the time capsule idea. I am sure we all know what that is

I think we can play this game at two levels

For instance, if we said Changge was wearing green coloured costume, we can check our entry to see if this is correct.

The snow walk scene would be my most iconic scene. It calls for the best performance from Reba. She had to carry the head of the person she had great respect for, and surrender it to the enemy. She had to carry that head all by herself, unarmed, facing thousands of enemy troops. The snow fall. And the great music.
I will not want to say too much here. That will be cheating. In two years, it will be interesting to see how much of that scene I can still recall

Oh good. Those who wanna play this can hide your answers. We come back in two years. Will be like a time capsule. And we can check just how much of it we can recall.
Interesting! I believe you are part of the outliers who came initially for Leo. And this was because you like…
I think most people had very low expectations for Leo (except for those who liked from NIF). Perhaps even those who liked himfrom NIF. This was his first ML role as an adult, so before TLB was aired, most do not have very high expectations. And when you come from such a low level expectations, and you see what you saw, you are likely to be very pleased.
I think that is the same for Dilraba. Expectations could be higher, because she has done historical FL roles before. Still many did not find her performance all that great. So, they were really pleased with her performance in TLB. I would say, if you were to poll all those who watched her in her previous historical dramas, and compare those with what they saw in TLB, a great majority will concur with KTC and say they were pleasantly surprised.
This is a funny BTS. I think Mujin don't want to be deprived of getting a kiss from Mimi. In the drama, she did…
They do this kind of scene for lots historical CDrama. Although we all know, when the the person getting the medicine is unconscious, no way that med is going to go down.
Just finished this! 9/10I watched this because of Leo Wu, as he was Fei Lu from NIF!And wow! Dilraba Dilmurat…
Oh good! She was not bad there as well. But her role there calls for a more limited acting range, compared to her role in TLB. Still, you should like her there as well.
Sher is 23 I think. Doesn't it say so above in cast details?
I see. I got stuck at the manhua too. Very challenging to proceed, but I am not giving up. Even in the manhua, I don't think age is an important matter. But, we'll see when we get back to the manhua

Pick your most iconic scene from TLB. Hide it in the spoiler. Don't cheat. Two years from now, come back to this page. Open up your answer. Check and see how much of that scene you can still recall. Re-watch that scene again in any platform (Viki, YT, whatever). Compare the two and see how accurate you are.

If you are trying to use age to find out something, maybe you can let us know what it is you are looking for, and we can perhaps use another method to find it? If you are just curious, I doubt it is really important. I think they are very close in age. When young, they played and fought together. I think very similar in age.
https://www.instagram.com/p/COu7UPYALTa/"Sun: But I'm a little curious. The teeth that can't even be pried open…
This is a funny BTS. I think Mujin don't want to be deprived of getting a kiss from Mimi. In the drama, she did feed him with the medicine using her mouth, didn't she? I vaguely remember, but cannot recall which episode they did this scene in the drama

I don't think this was ever mentioned in the drama. Not sure about manhua though. Do you have a reason for this? I mean, their age difference means something??
Lots of people here are also over at The Long Balled comments page. Yet, there are also lots of fans of the other actors and actresses who were never in TLB. It will be nice to see if the chemistry in this section can match the one at TLB.
Guess we will interact more often next year, when this drama is aired.

Recall the game I suggested just a few hours ago?
